I right clicked the add and selected "show image in new tab" with Google Chrome, than simply linked to that picture.
That's what I thought…. but for some reason I can't do it with this link. Oh well… it was just a Frozen ad anyway. LOL

On the Oasis of The Seas in October...

Also considering booking the Disney Wonder to Alaska summer 2015.

I'll be looking forward to hearing about the Oasis. Would like to know if the ship is too big.

Will let you know...

I've spoken to a few friends that have been on it, and they loved it.

We are only on a 5 night cruise, which sucks... almost all of their itinerary are 7 night. We are on their first cruise (out of Ft. Lauderdale) back from dry dock. The timing happened to work for us, as we were going down for a wedding the day before.

We are really looking forward to it... but if it is too big, just another reason to go back on. :thumbsup2

We've heard good things about it and have been docked with it and the Allure and I still can't get over the size.

Hi Juliana.

Sorry to hear about the PF as I understand that can hurt a ton. Some bourbon will help and make sure you don't mess the back up with whatever goofy limp you have.

Sorry to hear about the hotel mix up. Bourbon is always a good idea. Any chance you get to Owensboro for business? We have a bourbon bar.

The Parker House is a beautiful hotel and the room is spacious. A bedroom and a separate living area with a large bathroom. It is near a lot of points of interest including Boston Common. Dinner tonight will be at the Beantown Pub which is just down the street.:

Sound good. If you go to Cheers, say hi to Norm & Cliff.

When Google wants to know something about beer and pretzels, it asks Paul.

:lmao: :rotfl: :lmao:

Sorry your hurting… More bourbon would certainly be a proper prescription.

I’ve noticed though that everyone one ‘round here that has recently gotten more active athletically seems to also have ended up seeing doctors for repairs and maintenance to various joints as a result of said activities; lots of knees, ankles, feet, arms and such in need of work. I’m starting to suspect that the notion getting fit and losing weight might also be a bad idea.
:crutches: :rotfl2:

Another vote for bourbon. As a Team Sparrow member, I'm definitely against exercise. But, I need to lose weight to drink & eat more.

Dude, rough diagnosis. I had it before. Good news is that the shoe inserts really do work. Bad news is that PF can hurt like a sonofagun!

Your weeble wobble gait is going to land you at the chiropractor next!
But remember, pain is short, glory is forever :thumbsup2

The shoe inserts worked wonders. It is still sore, but feeling way better.

I get that every now and then, it hurts like crazy. You can always get a scooter and see if that helps.....you know with the sympathy.

I'm ready for the scooter like the Mayor on Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs - that's the problem. :lmao:

Made it to Boston. Flight was uneventful, quick cab ride from the airport but I wasn't able to get into the room until 1:30. Nearly fell asleep on a couch in the lobby. Power nap and then a quick trip to Walgreens for adult beverage ingredients. Having a cocktail and munching on some cheddar and real salami. Great to hear all is good - enjoy, sounds like a good time.

Hotel issue not the end of the world just a PITA. Good bartender that I was able to talk Chicago sports with so not all bad. If the opportunity to get to your neck of the woods comes up will make sure I go rather than any of my team for that bourbon bar.

Thank you Princes Juliana!

Norm, I hope the foot feels better. DW has it and it was a hassle for her while we were in Poland.

Stayed up to watch Lone Survivor last night, I thought it was really good.

Good morning all!

Sounds like a blast! Have fun!

I'd love to do a Disney cruise to Alaska... Hopefully when the kids are big enough I can convince the wife. Had her ready to do a 4 night Bahamas trip this year, but we decided the boy was still too young...

T
Good morning all!

Morning!

Well if Paul is going you can tell your nemesis is not Canadian. ;) :lmao:

I think he feels bad about all that voodoo stuff he did to CJ and needs to buy him a beer to make up for it.:lmao::lmao:

It's called target advertising... It's based off of what you've been searching recently in your internet browser...

Soooooo Randall....

:lmao::rotfl2::lmao:

Awesome pics :thumbsup2

Sorry you have to see the Red Sux :lmao:

The good thing is they have scratched Lester from pitching tonight so they can trade him. :headache::mad: I guess we are a small market team now. New management philosophy: Do not sign anyone for more than 4 years. We got lucky and won a world series last year doing that so we have a new business model.:sad2::sad2:

I got an email yesterday that our flight home from Disney got pushed back by an hour and 45 minutes. We might actually get a 1/2 day in a park now. I'm stoked! :cool1:

I can't believe we are less than 60 days away… it still doesn't feel real. Maybe because there is so much summer left. We are heading to Ocean City, MD in a few weeks too.

21 days for us. No change in flight times, but we booked a late flight back so we could get about 6-7 hours in the parks before we leave.

Have fun in MD. If you see a guy that looks like Santa Clause named Randall, you may want to stay clear.:lmao::lmao:

Glad you made it OK. Texted you this morning. Will probably be in town around 5. Had an eventful yesterday. DS broke his left hand ring finger at hoop camp on Monday. X rays and then off to another day at camp. He got to play against Manute Bole's kid yesterday. Says he is 7 feet tall, athletic as he11 and basically kicked his a$$.:lmao::rotfl2::lmao: Projected as the top NBS draft pick in 2018. He now has more perspective on his basketball level and plans to work on his skills.

DD had to go in next for x rays on the foot. Doc says that he cannot see a break on the film. Sprained 4th and 5th metatarsals and needs to be off her feet and icing for at least a week, maybe up to 3 weeks. We are hoping to have her back for hoop playoffs in two weeks.

Plumber stopped by and added the great news that it will be $3K to put in the sink that is going into the new bar in the basement.:headache: I think I should have been a plumber.

Wait.....I thought you were Norm.:confused3:rolleyes1

Cheers really isn't all that close to Fenway. Put the game on tonight. We'll be on the left of the screen when viewing the batter. I wore my Kentucky T-shirt just for you.

I'll be the guy sitting next to him, constantly looking over my shoulder for an eye-patch wearing runner attempting to cut my achilles with a shiv. :thumbsup2

Didn't Lester say trade me for something good and I'll look to resign in the off-season?

‘Morning all…
It’s payday where I work. No pink slips were issued so I get to make it through at least one more month.

Since I’m feeling generous, y’all get two potentially bad ideas to mull over today.
First, my regular Bad Idea of the Day:

stupid%20people%20278.jpg

And as a bonus here’s an entire video of Bad ideas that was suggested to me.
Plenty of poor choices here and it’s even set to the music of The Moron’s Nation Anthem.

***That's a Moron

I would suggest though that you watch it yourself first before allowing any of your smaller young’ens to view it. There’s no noticeable blood, but I guarantee that a good number of these people ended up in an Emergency Room or at least a dentist’s office.

Duct tape on the switch works well. :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

The voice of experience?

Duct tape is much like alcohol…
It can be both the surprising solution and/or unwitting cause of many problems.
(Some of it’s more creative applications are also often tied directly to copious alcohol consumption)

Very cool. I too will be interested in your thought’s on that ship. We wanted to try to get aboard either Oasis or Allure next spring, but the our scheduling and their itineraries weren’t meshing. We’d have had to travel in the summer after the rates shot up and being new ships in higher demand, there aren’t many deals available right now. so we’ll save that trip for later on. Instead we were forced to slum it and booked an Eastern Itinerary aboard the Disney Fantasy.

Not that I’m unhappy with that outcome…

Glad you made it OK. Texted you this morning. Will probably be in town around 5. Had an eventful yesterday. DS broke his left hand ring finger at hoop camp on Monday. That’s a bit of a run of bad news there. Sorry that the young’ems are having problems and my they both heal up quickly. Interesting story about DS and Basketball Camp. Good to get some perspective along with the clinical learning. 3k for a sink huh? Yep, I’m in the wrong business as well.

I look forward to seeing what your bad idea of the day is going to be everyday. You may be my nemesis, but well done, sir. Keep up the good work! :rotfl2::lmao:

I have never seen a problem caused by duct tape. I've seen many problems fixed though. :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

A rare compliment… Thank you sir.
A thread with a name like this one deserves no less.

Feel free to add a few of your own observations (and that goes for all of ya’).
:thumbsup2

I have never seen a problem caused by duct tape. I've seen many problems fixed though. :rotfl2::rotfl::lmao:

Direct cause… I agree, not generally.
It’s more like a passive soldier that unwitting enables an inept commander’s poor tactical choices.

Case in point:
I’ve seen where at least one clever individual used duct tape to defeat the safety kill switch on a chainsaw (a totally rational thing to do wouldn’t you agree). He then purposefully tied said motorized implement to the end of a length of rope, cranked it up and proceeded to swing the whole contraption about his head like a lasso with the intention of having the business end trim the top of his overgrown hedges.

I’m not sure what it is about hedge trimming that causes folks to toss caution out the window like a baby in the bath water, but that there certainly strikes me as a bad idea.
:lmao:

A late morning check in. Hope all are enjoying the day. Played tennis last night. The shoe things really helped. I had never had that before and wish I had tried something sooner. I'm going to make an appointment with sports Dr to see what's wrong with the knee.

Were pink slips a concern? I must have more missed that post. Glad things are ok.

Agree with Andy. I've enjoyed the daily bad idea. We need to start captioning these. I can hear one of those idiots now saying, "Let it go. I got it".

With all this talk, sounds like I need to make a visit there this weekend.

!

I imagine. It hurts like heck in the morning until I can get my shoe on. Having to keep up with 6 children would make it difficult.

I'd love to do a Disney cruise to Alaska... Hopefully when the kids are big enough I can convince the wife. Had her ready to do a 4 night Bahamas trip this year, but we decided the boy was still too young...!

I've thought about a cruise to either location, or a resort like Sandals. But, since I still have 30 years of paid DVC vacations, I don't want to spend the money.

Cheers really isn't all that close to Fenway. Put the game on tonight. We'll be on the left of the screen when viewing the batter. I wore my Kentucky T-shirt just for you.

We may not get the game. KY passed a law that only permits pro games on tv if a KY player is on the team. :lmao:

Hope your children recover from their injuries quickly.
