Louisville played a great first half. ND played a great second half. Terrible that th game ended on a missed FG. But, more terrible for you.

I thought your punishment was sitting next to me. :lmao:

I'll bring you some bourbon next week. Did you like Maker's Mark from last time? Or, would you prefer something different.

The Makers was good stuff, but I'm not an expert so you can decide.

Morning guys. Looking forward to the short week.

Morning, I have Thanksgiving off but working Black Friday, As FedEx peak time kicks off, we also started a new computer billing system today, which allows me to approve invoices through the internet but teaching mechanics how to use a computer has been interesting to say the least.lol

I hope everyone's been doing well and has a great week!

Isn't it sweet that our 7 year old daughter gets so upset over her relationship with a fictional mouse?

Or is it completely crazy?
I'm sure any other place on the Internet would being calling for you to have her committed. Around here...that's par for the course. Nice job raising that one! :thumbsup2

Did any of you guys see this yet? Been dreading the new DAS pass system for our trip...

"Families accuse Disney theme parks of violating the Americans with Disabilities Act." http://t.co/gsCzyKj2Yq

I have nothing of substance to add to the DAS discussion, but inquiring minds would like to know when your next trip is. :confused3

Morning guys. Looking forward to the short week.
Morning duck! Me too! Especially since it seems like half the company if off these next three days, so it usually makes for a nice, easy week.

Is it because he went down the up escalator? Because that's just rude.

Reminds me of this story that happened just a few weeks ago here in Milwaukee...

Seems this semi truck driver was blindly following his GPS - even when it tried to send him through a park and over a pedestrian bridge.

Top O the Morning Dads. From the department of redundancy, thank the maker (including the Mark) for a short week. Just need to get through today and tomorrow and then 5 days of family time :cool1:

It can't be Simpsons or Shawshank. Did you forget to wear pants again?

Well, I figured they couldn't see anything below the table, so what does it matter?:confused3

Oh, and good morning! And Happy Birthday, Mark! Welcome to the big 4-0!

Happy Birthday Mark!

Happy birthday, Mark!!

I forgot this was the week that all the awesomeness was born... Tim, me, Mickey and you.

Happy Birthday Captain Mark!

Morning guys and Happy Birthday Oblivious.

Happy Birthday Capt.!

Happy Birthday Captain

Thanks guys! I got to see the Mythbusters live on tour, so it was a good day!:thumbsup2

No, but I am taking him to the Colts vs. Redskins this weekend.

So, his punishment is sitting next to me, lol

Sounds like his punishment is being forced to watch the Redskins play.

‘Morning all…
The work week may be a short one, but it’s starting off with thus far with way too much collective crud and interference. I’d just assume everyone else go on ahead and take today and the rest of the week off and leave me the heck alone.

Rant over… now how about some of that bourbon I’ve heard so much about this morning.

On Tuesday we said something about it being Mickey's birthday. DD looks at us sideways and says, "I thought it was this sunday." No, sweetie, Mickey's birthday is today, we tell her. She runs to her room, throws herself on her bed, and starts crying. We ask her why she is upset, and she manages to tell us through her sobs that she thought she had more time to make him a birthday card. We tell her she can still make one after school... She sobs louder. "But it won't get there in time!!"

:lmao: Perfect Dis material.

Isn't it sweet that our 7 year old daughter gets so upset over her relationship with a fictional mouse?

Or is it completely crazy?

The answer to both questions would be: ::yes::

As it should be.

Lousy week for college football. Hopefully the Gators will get a bowl eligible win today but who knows what the team's mindset is. Have a good one guys.

I was actually pleased with our loss.
WCU never had a chance against Alabama in the first place, so a couple scores, some forced fumbles, an INT in the end zone and generally forcing them to get up off their complacent rumps and work a bit comes as a bit of a victory for an unranked div-2 school.

And they paid us for the privilege.

I forgot this was the week that all the awesomeness was born... Tim, me, Mickey and you.

Apparently I missed a couple.
Knew about Mickey and the Capt’n, but missed Tim’s (sorry ‘bout that chief).
May or may not have missed yours though…
Don’t remember whether I wasn’t paying attention or simply blocked it out.

Is it because he went down the up escalator? Because that's just rude.

Had they used the correct one I’m sure it would have worked.

Seems this semi truck driver was blindly following his GPS - even when it tried to send him through a park and over a pedestrian bridge.

:sad2: the only word I’ve got for that one would be: wow…

Thanks guys! I got to see the Mythbusters live on tour, so it was a good day!:thumbsup2

I’d rank it very high on the list of potential good days.

Sounds like his punishment is being forced to watch the Redskins play.

Yep…
It eases the suffering when they lose, but punishment best describes the general experience.

That always works in the movies...

If it is on tv or the internet, then it must be true. :lmao:

Well, I figured they couldn't see anything below the table, so what does ....

That's my reasoning for wearing sweat pants to the office. Great minds? :crazy2:

There is talk of bourbon, everything's well when they talk bourbon.

Even better when one pours bourbon.

Reminds me of this story that happened just a few weeks ago here in Milwaukee...

Depends on which family members are present for those 5 days. I'll be spending 5 hours with my parents that day, and I'm not sure I can handle that. Here is the formula I developed for the holidays.

2 shots bourbon + 2 drinks per 1 hour of family visit = tolerable day.

Those initial shots to make those initial hellos more manageable. Plus, it helps to keep the drinks outside in the trunk of the car or in a treasure box cooler outside. That way, there is a built in escape plan. Increase #s for BIL.

Hello guys, just did the reading catch up. Ah, for the days I could find time to post regularily.:sad2:

Got the tree up this weekend. I think I put more decorations back into storage then on the tree itself. Think the tree is now 80% Disney. Best part is when you turn it on, the Steamboat Willy ornament starts playing the song/whistle from the short. Added a Mickey-Firefighter to the tree this year as a tribute to Dad.

Great idea about the ornament for your Dad, Brent. I wonder if they have a Mickey Saleman one?

Here's a candidate for bad idea of the day for ya...

I've seen plenty of pictures like this on the Farm ---- Ups page on Facebook, but it was pretty awesome to be able to see this one in person. It was a neighbor who had some idiot working for him. Apparently he thought because he had big tires he could cross the ditch there instead of driving 100 feet out of the way to cross the bridge on the road where this picture was taken from...

Not same headaches here as it will just be the 4 of us and my IL's that followed us here. I get along with them though the 'ole guy at 82 is getting a bit grumpy / whiny but then again he is 82. Really looking forward to wrapping up Christmas decorations and spending time in my happy place, family time at home, considering the day job these days.

Great remembrance of your Dad right there :thumbsup2

We have about 75% of our decorations up including outdoor hanging on house decorations just in time for the wind advisory we have been under since last night :santa: Only issue is hooks holding the ear part up of one of our two Mickey head wreaths did not hold up.
