Morning all
The work week may be a short one, but its starting off with thus far with way too much collective crud and interference. Id just assume everyone else go on ahead and take today and the rest of the week off and leave me the heck alone.

now how about some of that bourbon Ive heard so much about this morning.
On Tuesday we said something about it being Mickey's birthday. DD looks at us sideways and says, "I thought it was this sunday." No, sweetie, Mickey's birthday is today, we tell her. She runs to her room, throws herself on her bed, and starts crying. We ask her why she is upset, and she manages to tell us through her sobs that she thought she had more time to make him a birthday card. We tell her she can still make one after school... She sobs louder. "But it won't get there in time!!"
Perfect Dis material.
Isn't it sweet that our 7 year old daughter gets so upset over her relationship with a fictional mouse?
Or is it completely crazy?
The answer to both questions would be:

Lousy week for college football. Hopefully the Gators will get a bowl eligible win today but who knows what the team's mindset is. Have a good one guys.
I was actually pleased with our loss.
WCU never had a chance against Alabama in the first place, so a couple scores, some forced fumbles, an INT in the end zone and generally forcing them to get up off their complacent rumps and work a bit comes as a bit of a victory for an unranked div-2 school.
And they paid us for the privilege.
I forgot this was the week that all the awesomeness was born... Tim, me, Mickey and you.

Yep
It eases the suffering when they lose, but punishment best describes the general experience.
Only issue is hooks holding the ear part up of one of our two Mickey head wreaths did not hold up.
