Missed another few days. Thanks for not covering too much while I was gone.:lmao::lmao: Glad everyone is safe David. Well, it's Friday and we finally have a weekend without baseball or basketball.:cool1::cool1: DW has already started the "to do" list now that I have 5 minutes of free time.:good vibes

DD ended playing against my niece in hoops this week. I coach our town summer team and BIL coaches my niece. It was a 36-12 win for the good guys (yes, that is us CJ). We played really well for a team that has not played since February. Have a good Friday all.

The moving vans have not pulled up to the James mansion. Don't be surprised if Bosh and Wade also opt out and then all three sign with Miami. A possibility they are talking about down here is Chicago as the main competition. Wether they stay or not, the Heat are going to be a changed team next year. A lot of the supporting cast will be gone. I have faith in Riley though.

I watched the first part of the draft. Pretty much an hour or so I'll never get back. A lot of talk about Carmelo and LeBron and where they will end up. Good luck keeping him. Shabazz is a good PG and a local kid from here. He should fit in. I might actually have to root for Miami a little this year......just a little.

Not so good news for me today. I hurt my knee skiing back in January. Still have discomfort\pain, so they sent me for an MRI. Torn ACL. Now I can blame my slow 5K time in March on that. Trying to get surgery scheduled for July. I want plenty of rehab time for our November trip. Fortunately, they aren't reconstructing (yet). Just cleaning up scar tissue and meniscus since the knee is stable at this point.

Hope the surgery goers well and you get better soon.

Happy Birthday! I now it's a day late and a dollar short as they say, but hope it was great.

I usually do fairly well in drunk game competition, however, I have not practiced many lately. :lmao: I'm going to walk the family back after the concert. So, I could end up walking 2 or more miles tomorrow.

Can't you jut take ECV or maybe a wheel chair. They rent them there don't they? ;) Oh, you went somewhere other than WDW? What were you thinking?:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Safe travels.

My last debate and I'm resting my case: other then "said club" comment ,I only discussed rule breaking... Ahhh forget it lol, I've confused the hell out of myself!

Wait....there actually is a 3 legged race club? I need to get practicing. :rolleyes1

A very early good morning to all. Seems I must have bruised my ribs doing something or other. Breathing let alone trying to sleep is not an easy task. Thinking of getting some liquid pain killer.

Hope everyone has a good day before the start of the weekend.

PAUL! STOP POKING THAT VOODOO DOLL RIGHT NOW!:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

Happy Friday Men!

Feel Better CJ! Getting old is a Beverley!

So far so good. The kids are getting used to the house, rules and schedule. Being in country six weeks helped establish two of those. English will take time, but they all try to learn. I'm on to looking for a vehicle that will hold us all, and is affordable.

Hope you feel better CJ!

Good morning guys, and Happy Friday!

As long as you guys are still having fun, it's all good! :thumbsup2

TGIF GUYS! Another 6 hours of office time left to go and then it will be 2 weeks of vacation.

Jim, we will see you on Wednesday. Paul are you joining in?

CJ, I too must ask, how do you hurt your ribs without knowing? Anyway, I hope that liquid painkiller helps you feel better.

It was a good night for Canadians in the NBA draft. I wonder if tonight's NHL draft will have as many Canadians drafted? :lmao:

I was really pulling for someone on USA to get a walk off grand slam during the 4 minutes of overtime. :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

:rotfl2::rotfl2: You and me both!

I actually watched the game today. And I was extremely disappointed, because the main reason I was watching was because I wanted to see if the announcer would yell GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAALL!! when USA scored, but it never happened.

We did that when the USA scored in the Portugal game. Scared the baby to death. :rotfl:

Philistines.

Guilty as charged.

It just made me miss hockey. I think if Doc Emerick was calling the game I'd enjoy it more.

Best play-by-play announcer in sports. I'd listen to him read the phone book.

I know it's the world's most popular sport and all and I freely admit that I don't know strategy. But almost two hours in front of the tv and one lousy goal. There weren't even any fights.:confused3 Still it's fun to root for the US in anything.

That's where I am. I'm pulling for the USA, but I can't honestly say I really love watching the game.

‘Morning all…
Forgot to check in yesterday...

I like the idea of liquid pain killer; especially this early in the morning.
Sorry you’re hurting.

Good that the transition is progressing well. May that continue.
Good luck on the vehicle search.

How do you bruise your ribs without knowing how you did it? I hope you can get comfortable.

Selective Amnesia is a feature that comes along with seniority.
Whether you like it or not.

That would explain it though.

Enjoy the time off and the adventures to come.

Hey BLT people-
I'm doing my online check-in and have the option to request a room close to the bridge. Is that a good idea or is it noisy due to a lot of foot traffic?

I like that location but can't speak to the noise. Def a convenient spot, especially if you are using the refillable mugs. You'll make a number of trips across the bridge due to the Contempo cafe, shops, monorail, etc.

I wouldn't think foot traffic would be bad, we stayed one floor up by the elevators to the bridge and we barely noticed foot traffic

Fair enough. Requesting a room near the bridge.

You are right Randall, it is called getting old. As in older than dirt. Think it was a muscle pull or something like that. I would also appreciate it Paul if you did stop poking the voodoo doll.

Napier was as good a pick as we could hope for. Class kid even though he killed the Gators last year when he hit a last second, game winning shot. It was also the player LaBron wanted and it filled a need.

It wasn't a problem for me noise wise and it is convenient to get to the main building.

I can't ever remembering having a room om site that I had a problem with noise. They have all seemed kind of soundproof.

Thanks, and don't worry about the dollar short, the US exchange woulda killed it anyways.

I move for this to be the official office supply weapon of the DisDads.

Hey BLT people-

No noise. Just to be the naysayer, I like the other side better. Everyone stops off the skybridge to get that elevator, so it seems like there are longer waits. We stayed in a lake view studio center and lake view bridge side studio, and preferred the center. We used the north side elevators and had little wait. No refill mugs for us, though.

I have hurt my ribs WHILE sleeping. Usually the result of me snoring and my wife punching me int he ribs trying to make me roll over. .

The worse one I had, other than the screaming kids running in the hallways, was a standard view studio at BWV. The good news was that it was really close to the elevator. Bad news was that it was also near the metal suitcase stackers for DME luggage.

And I missed a birthday as well.
