It just made me miss hockey. I think if Doc Emerick was calling the game I'd enjoy it more.

I know it's the world's most popular sport and all and I freely admit that I don't know strategy. But almost two hours in front of the tv and one lousy goal. There weren't even any fights.:confused3 Still it's fun to root for the US in anything.

That wasn't a good game for the casual fan to watch. The US certainly didn't play to win and Germany knew they didn't need the win.

The Holiday Inn where I'm staying is about 1/2 mile away. The Hilton where Mike suggested is right across the street. Wish I had had Hilton points.

Ok just wanted to check, didn't recall a holiday inn within walking distance. That Hilton is really nice and right by Bridgestone, country hall of fame and the new convention center.

You don't think the 1/2 mile is within walking distance. I was hoping to walk the family to Bridgestone and walk them back to the hotel.

Lol no that's not what I ment, I couldn't remember where a holiday inn within walking distance of Bridgestone was. 1/2 mile is def walking distance.

I'm not familiar with downtown Nashville. I was hoping that it was a short and easy walk.

I looked it up on the map, if it's the broadway one it is a really easy walk, heads up though the walk to Bridgestone is downhill so...... The walk back is uphill so we can play a game of watch Norm get tipsy and walk back. Lol it's a really easy walk to an from.

I think you could do half a mile.... I mean you do that in the world and don't flinch.

I usually do fairly well in drunk game competition, however, I have not practiced many lately. :lmao: I'm going to walk the family back after the concert. So, I could end up walking 2 or more miles tomorrow.

In the world, pixie dust helps me walk those distances. I'll be beer powered tomorrow.

Almost everyone on Broadway tomm night is going to be beer powered. Walking is def the best option. I'll prob be parking at the flying saucer lot and walking down myself.

The first rule of 3 legged race club is that you don't talk about 3 legged race club.

Well well someone just broke the one rule, come on it's just one rule and you broke it!

Well, looks like you did too, now doesn't it? :confused3

Lol nice try, I didn't personally mention or reference said club.

Hmmm... The first rule of 3 legged race club say not to talk about 3 legged race club. Nothing about needing to name is specifically. I believe the ruling stands.

Also, I believe my continued discussion of 3 legged race club makes me the greatest offender of said rule. :headache:

Thanks...

Welcome. :thumbsup2

My last debate and I'm resting my case: other then "said club" comment ,I only discussed rule breaking... Ahhh forget it lol, I've confused the hell out of myself!

No comment.:guilty:

Escaped with a 1-1-1 record. Why do I not feel as excited about that as everybody else? :confused3

I guess the bar for USA soccer is low. Not that I'd know anything about it. :rotfl2::lmao:

You and me both. 1-1-1 and you advance. And there's still 16 teams and it's called the Group of Death.

I'll be the promoter for % of the money.

Deal...but contingent upon you getting a Don King hairstyle.

A very early good morning to all. Seems I must have bruised my ribs doing something or other. Breathing let alone trying to sleep is not an easy task. Thinking of getting some liquid pain killer.

Hope everyone has a good day before the start of the weekend.

Well, the new normal for you. How's it been going? .

So far so good. The kids are getting used to the house, rules and schedule. Being in country six weeks helped establish two of those. English will take time, but they all try to learn. I'm on to looking for a vehicle that will hold us all, and is affordable.

Hope you feel better CJ!

Good morning guys, and Happy Friday!

It depends on how much money is involved.

Maybe you twisted a muscle when you turned quickly to find that shark behind you? Hope you feel better.

Good to hear they are doing well and good luck in the vehicle search.

Yep... pretty much sums it up for me.

I've stayed at that one before. It is a really nice hotel. A step above most HI Expresses. It was close enough to walk all the way to the river front from there, so the arena shouldn't be bad at all. But yeah, that walk back uphill sucks. :lmao:

How do you bruise your ribs without knowing how you did it? I hope you can get comfortable.
