Another long week finally draws to a close.

Ryder turns the big 0-2 tomorrow. We're heading down to Chicago's Museum of Science and Industry to check out the traveling Treasures of the Disney Archives exhibit. Then overpriced dinner at Rainforest Cafe. It will be like being in Disney World! (Only colder. And not as much fun. And colder.)

And just to add insult to injury…
they make you pull it as well.

:rotfl2: That's what keeps me coming back.

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

Is that while he drives by when you are putting more duct tape on that cursed bridge that I have to cross every time I drive to see the kid?

That bridge hasn't let you down yet. Pun intended.

I'm not the one making the decision. I'll just be providing some information. I have my 40th birthday trip already picked out.

You're coming to Delaware, right?

Happy birthday Ryder! At least the MSI is pretty cool.

Have fun! I get dragged to the Rainforest up here more often than I would like... Kids love it, but the food is horrible... :headache:

Due to Southwest points, I had to book the earliest flight on Sunday so more then likely I won't sleep after the race. Will def wear a costume for MNSSHP, I could go as Jack Skellington again but it was so hot last time. I'll come up with something new before then, Love dressing up with DD and having a blast, haven't figured out my ToT costume yet but I have some time for both.

I hope it's cooler during the race this year. I'd imagine it would be rough running in a costume in that heat. Hopefully you'll get a chance to sleep on the plane on the way back.

Hurray and if you ride the Mine Train at MSI you can pretend you're on thunder mountain.

Let me just say this... it is all about personal preference. Most who have a preference for one tend to think it is heads and shoulders above the other. Both have their own strengths and weaknesses.

Personally, I have a Samsung Galaxy S4 because I've always gotten along well with Android OS, and that extra screen size really helps me overcome my fat finger syndrome when typing on the touchscreen. I started out with Android several years back, just because I didn't really care for Apple or the iTunes interface just from the experience of using it with an iPod so I wanted to try something else. I've been happy with my choice.

Main thing, just try to get a few phones in your hand and see which hardware feels good to you and which OS you get along well with.
ME and my impatient self decided to place the order yesterday and not bother to go out and take a close look at the different phones. I think the Galaxy S4 is what I'll get. I went with Android.
iPhone. I don't like Android, not as intuitive as ios.
It really was inevitable. Whichever one I picked, the rest of the crowd was going to lean towards the other one. When faced with a 50/50 decision, I'll pick the wrong thing about 90% of the time. True story.
Just be thrilled you're getting a phone! My employer usually just gives me the finger.
I guess this means I have finally arrived. It only took 11 years. It's nice though. I was tired of getting laughed out of meetings when I pulled out my flip phone.
Our family is all iPhone and iPads and are happy with them. Good suggestion to get a hold of the hardware and see what you like. For phone purposes I need something I can put in my pocket as I use iPad or laptop majority of the time when on-line.
My family has no preference towards one system or the other. Only other device is the wife's Windows Phone (the most recent of my bad decisions). I just need it to do basic phone stuff, manage my fantasy football teams, and help me find my way home when I get lost downtown. Oh and the My Disney Experience app- that's important too.
Dang it!!
Good choice and not a bad price either. Save a table for me by the pool.
Finally, I made a good decision. I feel good about this one. But with my luck, SAB will be closed that day.

Iphone, iphone, iphone. But then again all my electronics are Apple products so I drank the Kool-Aid.

Well, the majority says iphone. Oh well, maybe next time.

I can attest, that there are literally several things to do in Delaware.

If it was down to Rainforest or Chuck E Cheese, Rainforest would win all the time.

And they have an old fashioned ice cream parlor. I wonder if they can make a kitchen sink?:confused3

As you have made your choice, you can always get this for your cover,

This is the advice I got from a co-worker. That makes me feel better.
It's not the wrong choice. It's like when I was trying to buy my first DSLR. I agonized and researched canon's and nikons for weeks until someone pointed out that "no matter which camera I chose, the weakest link in the photography chain was going to be me". The Samsung is a great phone and it will do everything you want and more.

If that case is scratch and sniff, it would fall into the "and more" catagory I reference above.

Happy Birthday to DS. Rainforest prices aren't that bad. We get to the one in Nashville once a year.

.

That again is way too much math in one post.

I think you'll be happy with it. Like Ryan said though, there's really not a "wrong" choice at this point. What's out there is all pretty good.

The biggest drawback is the size, but I carry mine in my pocket in an otterbox. Not ideal, but really is nowhere near as awkward as I expected it to be when I bought the phone.

Happy birthday to Ryder! Rainforest Cafe isn't all that bad. They closed the one in CT last year and I was kinda sad about it.

I looooove apple products have 2 macbook pros, iPad, 2 iPods, but I cannot stand iPhones. I've been using android since I switched to a smart phone and I don't regret it one bit. The only thing lacking is music management. But honestly, for me, I don't want my phone synced to my iTunes. I have 'crap' music on my iTunes (music I need for work-download other people's requests) that I don't want taking up space on my phone. I put together a playlist for the 1/2 last year on my phone and it was easy. Unfortunately, my new phone (HTC One) doesn't act like an external HD when I plug it into my computer and that is a PITA.

Have any of you guys used those baby backpacks child carriers? We're planning on doing some light hiking this summer in places where a stroller just won't go. I'm looking for recommendations on brands or features so I can strap Ryder (currently 26 lbs) to my back and pack mule him along.

I'll probably want a model with ear plugs so I don't have to listen to the other two complain that they have to walk why Ryder gets to ride.

This might be Man Law material.

We have yet to find one we like. I'm looking at the same dilemma with Baby Fatso this summer.

Just do this:

It will make the hike easier too.

This may help you see your HTC One as a drive on your mac

SWEET! Helping Tim (maybe) OWNAGE!

Good Choice, on both counts. (Didn't check into the thread in time to provide timely input, but I hope my opinion reassures you some.)
I've never been an Apple fan; used one way back when, enough to realize they weren't for me. Been using Android phones since they came out, and still use my original Droid as a podcast player.
Loved the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, a predecessor of your S4. Was a really nice phone until it fell off my bike and the screen cracked. :( Insurance replaced it with a non-Nexus LG, which I don't feel was an equal replacement, but that's Verizon for you...:sad2:

Congrats on the phone, and feel confident in your choice. You've got a lot of "It can do THAT?!" moments on the way...

It's funny that you posted this. I'm currently uploading all my pictures and video to my dropbox account to get them onto my computer. I'll check this out and see if I can get it to work. :thumbsup2

Good Luck - we're all counting on you. :thumbsup2
