Welcome to Monday!

Decent day here today, right around the freezing mark and no snow.

Have a good one.

Morning guys!:wave2:

Wow, what a blowout last night. Surprised it was that one-sided.

As expected, classes cancelled until 10. I could have stayed in Appalachia and had better weather. :sad2: I'll be glad to see this winter come to an end.

You and me both! Sorry you traveled there for nothing.

Mornin Guys....

this is what I get to look forward to tomorrow night into Wednesday....

And yes, I'm in the 8-12" area......this is a smack in the face after getting what was supposed to be a trace this weekend that turned into 6"!

Calgon - take me away!! :beach:

No. I think Manning gets too much credit for the Colts SB win. It wasn't until the defense got healthy, I.e. Sanders and Jackson, right before the playoffs did we gain momentum. That allowed us to go through the playoffs because we could limit other teams scoring. It's great having record setting years, scoring records, etc. but at the end of the day it's championships that matter in the NFL. Ask Marino and Jim Kelly, heck that's why Elway stuck around so long.

As a Colts fan, I've seen this hype show before and then was let down. Welcome to the Peyton Manning Postseason Recovery group, Broncos fans.

Interesting perspective from a Colts fan. Thanks for posting it. I agree about Sanders - a playmaker at defense put then over the top.

Local schools out, but not as much snow further south. So, I get 35 miles of driving in this stuff.

We did a little thinking yesterday as we were getting the kids' stuff packed for school today. Due to Christmas, New Years, school closing for cold, our vacation, Martin Luther King Jr Day, and another set of school closings - this will be the kids' first Monday at school since the middle of December.

And you thought you had a case of the Mondays.

That Super Bowl was a blow out.... but it went the way I had been expecting and I won the pick em group I was doing. I really thought it would have been a better game.

So its official DW and I decided life is too short. We have booked a 4 night split stay at the world. I will not say where we are staying yet because she is playing a guessing game on her TR. Our dates are 12 May 2014 to 16 May 2014. (This could be added to the first page) We will also be visiting my family the few days prior and will hopefully talk them into a day or two at the parks.

This will most likely be the last visit for a minimum of a year thanks to the 6 month deployment. As well as the job thing. I am very happy that we can do this thanks to taxes and credit card rewards.

Stay safe. They keep adjusting the forecast here. I have seen as little as 6 and as much as 10 inches for tomorrow night through Wednesday.

I figured you and Any would be right there in the mix of the same amounts if the storm track stays this way....

After this winter, I'm getting a bigger badder snow blower! :thumbsup2

Hey guys,

Thanks for all of the prayers and congratulations on the birth of our son, Drew. It was great to see so many of you sharing in our excitement.

I apologize for my absence from the boards lately, and as a peace offering I present a cute baby picture:

.

A booked trip at WDW is a great way to start the week.

Not unless I'm collecting Peyton's game check!

I'll happily lose a dozen superbowls for that kind of money

Nice job by you and Mrs Knowitall. A little surprised at the lack of Phillies gear though.

Been away for a few days but was able to get caught up however congrats or prayers if I missed something. DD surprised us by coming home Friday for the weekend. We had a great family weekend with the 4 of us plus the ILs watching movies, playing board games & cards, listening to DIS music, going over agendas for next two trips to WDW, ordering in pizza and Chinese. I think Norm referenced it, may miss the old weekends but a just family hangout all weekend was about as good as it gets.

Good afternoon gentlemen. I think we're still waiting for the Broncos to show up at the Super Bowl. I caught the first half and will check out the second half commercials later today.

I'm only about 10 pages behind. Thoughts and prayers to those who need them, welcome new guys, and bacon for all.
