Very cool.

Break a leg Nemie. Remember our 5K challenge.

Why do you think I'm going for the MRI? :lmao::lmao: 3 miles is a long walk if I can't push the leg. I was actually thinking maybe I would try to train for both the 5 and 10K if I get the green light. We have a couple of local runs in August and September that I have wanted to do for a while now.

I know the longer races require times to be submitted for coral placement. Do you know if we would need to do this for the 5K as well or can we just register and run?

Good Morning and welcome to the middle of the week.

Heading in for an MRI on the knee tomorrow at 6AM. Went to a new Orthopedic doctor. He thought it would be a good idea since there is still some concerns and the original surgeon never had one done. If it shows the healing is complete with no issues, I'll be cleared for full activity finally. 2 years of limited activity have really taken their toll. Hoping to be able to start the walking and jogging soon. Wish me luck!
!

Good luck today.
Also hope the MIL is recovering well.

To all the dads out there that are frozen in, stay warm and enjoy the French toast.

Nope. They just ask you to estimate what time you can do the 5K. Not sure about the 10K but I think it is the same thing. I am up to .3 miles without the leg saying I am not going any further. Hopefully by next year.

Morning guys. Looks like everyone's enjoying the warm weather. Same up here. ;)

Same down here.

Morning guys.

Sunny and warming up here. Kids had preschool for the first time in almost two weeks.
This week is Catholic School week at my son's school, my son's class did a project about dinosaurs, both my wife and I made it to the two hour open house, during our visit the school was honored with a visit from The Bishop, he walked into my son's class and was looking at the projects, and he touched my son's and asked about it, the teacher had my son tell The Bishop about it, that was such a honor, my son and wife did 97% of the work on it, and my wife said it was definitely worth it:thumbsup2
Very nice.
Read on Facebook that Mark and Julie are at the hospital. Hoping they have a fast and easy delivery.
Thanks for the update Randall. Hope everything goes smoothly.

So I live in north Florida Last night we had freezing rain and it stayed pretty cold (yet again this is florida we are talking about) when I went to get in my car this morning my door was frosen shut and I had to pour 2 gallons of water on my wind shield to be able to see out of it.

I would be pretty mad if I were you sorry for that.
There's these things called ice scrappers. they come in real handy for mornings like that.

Warming up nicely here.

IThanks. Did you hear Suntory bought out Jim Beam and Maker's Mark?
You are welcome and yes I did hear that. They better keep Makers production in KY.

Crazy - especially when this stuff gets that far south. Be safe.

So bored. All my work is done for the rest of the week. Snore. Think I'll go plan some time off work next month.

.

No snow or rain here at all - just cold. Don't usually think of Florida and ice.

Glorious! I've had 7 days off this month, counting holidays, for a grand total of 39 paid days off since July.

Any updates on Private Oblivious? I'm not a facebooker so I can't keep up with stuff.

Careful with that move.. Many a windshield has been cracked using this method.

Yikes, that was what we had the morning of Dad's viewing. Nasty stuff, I admit I had to check the news to see exactly what happened. I guess I take some of the weather for granted, never even blink at ice/snow/cold. Really ugly thing is under all the snow we got, that ice from just before Christmas is there (and there is snow under that too IIRC). Going to take a long time for this to all thaw out.

Everyone down there stay safe and warm thoughts. Just think of the July/August heat!

Just because there were those doing it before the DDC2 and now i can do it back.

TICKER CHECK
