Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

We've only gotten an inch or 2 so far but they canceled school today. I'm pretty sure it will be canceled tomorrow too. So DD has been out of school since Friday the 20th. UGH.

I'm judging. I do the major shopping for us 2x/month. For meats and fresh meals, I stop at the butchery on the way home to make sure everything is fresh. Even doing so, I have to admit I am not really all that up to date on what is a good or bad price.

I wish we had a good butcher close. We just buy our meat in the grocery store.

You're persistent, I'll give you that. So far only one person has figured out how to get us to spill the beans.

Same here. Just got the call from the school a few minutes ago that tomorrow is off as well. According to the news, we have 3-4 inches so far with a total of 10-16 expected. Of course my neighbor has already posted a pic on FB showing almost 6 inches already. That's could be good, meaning we are already half way through, or bad, meaning we'll be pushing to exceed the 16 inch forecast. Supposed to get worse around 4PM today. Heading home shortly hoping to be warm by the fire before that time.

It's down to about 5000 last I heard. I looked into it - but at over $100 each to sit on in 4° weather (and God knows what for a wind chill)....I'm leaving for Disney on Wednesday. The last two things I need to be are poor and sick.

Not for sure on this one. It would be great to have playoff tickets. However, seated at the top row at Lambeau in 0 degree weather doesn't sound great. 50 yard line tickets, about 10 rows off the field, sure.

Day 14 What is the best sound in the world? Right now, it is silence. Both dds and DW went back to work today. I have been just sitting on the couch, drinking coffee, and enjoying the calm. However, there is a storm outside and we are getting snow. I am going to enjoy the rare opportunity to take a nap in the afternoon without fear of yelling children. Y'll have a good day.

Good afternoon gentlemen.
I have no clue how far behind I am. I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Major Peanut Butter, Beverly and Tofu here. The van was making funky noises so we took it in. The transmission is eating itself and we need a reconditioned one. It also took the radiator with it. The shower drain was leaking and had to be replaced. To top it off the twins have had a nasty hack since Christmas Day. They were supposed to go to my sister's for a few days and I got a couple days to play FIFA and Civ V. Instead my MIL came down to watch them.

Nope, not yet. Getting close though.

The wind is blowing so hard here that the snow is actually snowing up and down at the same time! I think it's time to pack the camper and head to the CJ's.

You've gotta get there before me.
