Quiet day here today. Cleared some snow (we got about 4" overnight) kids were playing outside for a while.

As of now we have 3 trips this year planned with 2 more brewing, the way I look at it if we are going to get AP's might as well use them

When are you getting in for Marathon Weekend? The kid did her last long run a few days ago, twenty miles at about 10+ minute pace. She is getting pumped. Has a dry run of her costume for the half in a day or two.

I was having too much fun working on a Powerpoint presentation for Sunday.

Strawberries are covered in preparation for upcoming rain/sleet/snow and frigid temperatures. If it is bad as projected I'll just tell the family to stay up North. They were planning on coming in on Saturday but I leave Sunday for 3 days.

I've had enough of winter, you guys up North can shut the door and keep the cold air for the penguins. I want some serious global warming. I'd like to finish out my career studying banana and pineapple production in KY.

Happy New Years dads! Had a relatively mellow NYE with the family at the MIL's partaking in some beer and Makers Mark. I feel like I'm starting the first day at a new school tomorrow with my new job.

Looking forward to DDCC2. The forecast is calling for lake effect snow tomorrow and then on Monday a high of -5!!!! Long range forecast is predicting low 80's for next weekend at WDW. That's warmer than I was hoping for but I guess I'll have to suffer.

A quart in the perfect world is 1.5 pounds but it will vary depending on the strawberry variety and who is filling the quart. If they sell by the pint that would work out to about $3.11 but that is wholesale prices from the terminal. Figure in shipping and retail mark up and ...that is why we don't buy strawberries this time of year.

Thanks for the info… I was able to snag a few pints for $2.99 yesterday, which prompted me to make Tonga Toast today for breakfast.

give or take a day 7/30 - 8/7 & 11/6 - 11/9


The other dates brewing looking at 6/6 - 6/8 for Star Wars weekend

Made it through the snow drifts this morning and got to work.

Don't think we'll be doing much business today being that it's supposed to snow all day and blow as well.
