Sane? Rational? you got the wrong place. but welcome anyway[/QUOTE]

Consider the source. I sold 1/2 my SAINTS season tickets (including last night's game) to help fund some special extras for our trip in March.
Glad to be here!

Happy Veteran's Day to all that served. I know we have several on here and i want to send a personal Thank You to you and your families for all that you have done.

Hey, All! I think I did this backwards. Posted my brief bio and introduction at the other page looking to join the dads then was told to come here to get my number. It will be fun to be around such sane, rational, and like-minded guys with the right priorities - family, Disney, bacon.

James

Welcome to the Club! You're certificate for BS of the year will be arriving shortly for that "sane, rational" comment. It's not often we get a new guy coming around that can say that with a straight face. Well Done!

Good Morning Gents - to take the Monday morning edge off, just remember that we are all one week closer to the next Disney trip, scheduled or otherwise.

Hitting one of the busiest times of year business wise with travel and other things. Next 2-1/2 weeks are crazy, luckily weekends are under control to enjoy the Holiday times.

Quite the weekend. Friday night we headed to Chicago and met up with Sean at Woodfield Mall for dinner at Rain Forrest Cafe. Headed upstairs to the Disney Store for a little post-dinner shopping. The adults and kids all scattered around the store, looking at different things. The Little Mermaid's "Part of your World" starts playing over the store speakers, so naturally, I start singing along. I hear someone else singing, so I turn the corner around one of the displays. Sure enough, it's Sean. DisDad's Rule!

Saturday morning Justin and I ran the 10 Mile version of Chicago's Perfect 10 race.

Clearly, their timing system was having issues because it said Justin beat my by a second. Which is BS because we started at the same time and I had him by a good stride and a half at the end. I demand instant replay! (not a re-race. Thats just too much work.) The race ended with free beer and walk to Portillo's for Italian Beef sandwiches. It was great to see you again Justin! See you in January.

Good Morning! Here is your last morning picture from me for awhile, leaving today.
Thanks again for all the pics and safe travels to you and your family.
Morning Duck.

Happy Veterans Day to everyone out there and to our vets and active duty military, thank you for your service.

Thank you to all that currently and have served our country

Well, not all Disdads. If I were to start singing, they'd probably ask me to leave. :rotfl2::lmao:

Wow... Look at that shirt. It could have been midnight and Justin would still need the shades to run with you. :cool2:

Looks like a fun weekend, and congrats to both Barry and Justin for running the race! :thumbsup2

I guess it was a boring game anyway. I mean who wants to see their team destroy the Cowgirls and set an NFL record for 40 first downs in a game. :confused3

But the real question is who sings better Sean or me? :confused3 :rotfl2::rotfl2:

Well done guys! Wish I could of been there with you... I only ran a measly 5K on Saturday. :tiptoe:

It was great to see you and the family again. Thanks for coming down!

I also have to say thanks for limiting your pace to stay with me on the run. It kept me going and prevented me from walking when I may have taken a break. After some analysis of my run app it appears that this race was my fastest pace for a distance of 8-12 miles by OVER 30 seconds per mile! Needless to say I am really happy with the result. Hope we can get similar weather in January.

As for the finish times I don't know how that happened either except for that maybe my, um, beer storage vessel was leading out there a little bit. HA! :lmao:

The Disney Half is 2 months from today!

Barry is good at going slower when his running partner is slower or injured. :smokin:

Nicely done guys, I'm sure Jodi Benson's versions are safe :)

Morning Guys,

waiting in the Calgary airport to start the journey home.

Thanks to all the vets and current members of the armed services in all our countries. This is the first time I have spent Remembrance Day in the airport.

But the real question is who sings better Sean or me? :confused3 :rotfl2::rotfl2:
None of us need to be quitting our day jobs....
Pics????? :stir:
Um....the only one I have of the kids with the Rain Forrest Cafe Frog didn't turn out. Maybe Sean has one?
Well done guys! Wish I could of been there with you... I only ran a measly 5K on Saturday. :tiptoe:
5k is still a lot farther than a lot of people ran on Saturday.

It was great to see you and the family again. Thanks for coming down!
Anytime. You just need to bring your family next time. Madison got all excited when I said I was running with you. Then got sad when I told her your daughters weren't going to be there.

After some analysis of my run app it appears that this race was my fastest pace for a distance of 8-12 miles by OVER 30 seconds per mile!

And better pavement. :headache:

Oh, and I looked at their route map from their website again. They were still showing the 2011 version! No idea if they even put out one for 2013, but if they did, I couldn't find it!

Very Well done Barry and Justin...
:thumbsup2

Probably. But I might be able to give Ursula a run for her money!

None of us need to be quitting our day jobs.
Maybe we should start a DISDads group and try out for America's Got Talent. :mic:

Trying to hook up with Carl and Paul for a December run. Carl says I can do a 1/2 no problem. The furthest I've ran in months are 5Ks. :scared:
