Morning...off to work early for an inventory count, the ones we did last month were considered "invalid", too early apparently. Got to count all the beers, handle the new shipment coming in today, and prep my space for the Ghristmas Gift Packs tomorrow. Also gotta avoid any fallout from missing Friday's shift.

Always great to get paid to do the work twice.

Doing it for the girls is a good enough reason. Even if you rather not coach. One of the reasons I got back into diving was for Daddy/Daughter time.

It truly is the important part.

2 days in the office for me this week and then off to Calgary for some meetings and a conference.

Cheating to stack teams. Cheating to not follow the rules. To win at U11G soccer. I know many of us blame the politicians for the current state of affairs in the US, but I think that blame falls much closer to home. If adults are going to cheat and teach their children to cheat, what hope is there really?

People are selfish. Period. We all want to get without having to give. We all want to win without ever suffering a loss. So everyone tries to stack the deck in their favor, every day. Like you said, the state of politics is just a symptom of the world at large.

But on the plus side, we got 50% off from Papa John's yesterday.

UPdate on the kid's situation....still no sign of anything so we are giving the "all clear" signal. Either they made a mistake with Audrey or one had made it's way onto her that morning and was caught before it could settle in.
Trying to figure out if Vancouver is even bothering using a goalie tonight

Good news about the kids and Calgary sure did use a goalie last night vs. the Hawks faced 44 shots and only allowed 2 goals with one coming on a 5 on 3.

Good Morning Guys!

Spent the weekend cleaning out the basement. Filled a good sized dumpster with all of the trash and things tossed. I locked myself in the basement and just tossed anything we haven't used in a while. Have to keep the family away so we don't just keep everything. It's starting to look pretty good and another weekend of cleanup and then starting renovations. One wall coming down, and 3 going up.

Hope everyone had a good weekend. Patriots win and the Dolphins have started suspending players for being stupid. Take that nemie!

Just got done with the ultrasound, another Disney Princess for our family. I'm never going to be allowed to leave the toilet seat up again.

Nope. Rondo is out still with his injury and at 0-3 with sights on that #1 pick I don't see them rushing him back. Went to the home opener and watched them blow a 21 point lead in just over a quarter and lose. I'm pretty sure that may be the last Celtics game I go to this season. I'm not even sure Rondo would help.

The 11pm watering of the plants has just started. No wonder why everything is so green around here.

We spent most of the day in DHS. Wanna know why Magic Bands are key? Didn't get to the Studios till 10:30 and we are already holding FPs for ToT, RnRC, and TSM. No fighting the crowds, no rushing out of the room, no drama. The waits for the other rides were 10-15 minutes tops. Add in Child swap tickets and Juliana was the big winner. She rode everything 2-3 times. I was also able to pull FPs with my KTTW card and AP while having FP+. I tried it as an experiment. We left a little earlier than planned due to the heat. At 4pm I asked Juliana if she wanted to stay for another 1 1/2 hours or go back to AKL to swim. She chose swim and I believe she chose wisely. It was hot as heck today... I think it hit 90 degrees. We were dying.
