Thanks everyone for the Anniversary Sentiments, very uneventfull as it was Sparks/Guides night, both at different times. :sad2:

I was talking to a coworker a while back. She golfs right handed, but bats lefthanded. Throws right handed, but bowls left handed. I wonder if you two are related?:confused3

Right handed, golf right, bat right...but hockeywise I shoot left. :confused3

My Dad I find very weird, while he golfs right, he putts left.:confused3

Morning....Kid is well again, actually by the afternoon she was bouncing around, so she got to go to Sparks :headache:
...

Glad the little one is on the mend.

Good Morning Fellas!!!!

Off to AK this morning then MNSSHP tonight!

Nice

I usually nap in meetings or post here, which is what I am doing now.
...

Rough meeting day. I did get to visit College Park for the first time, catch up with some colleagues, and have a good lunch. The traffic around DC is crazy or maybe I have forgotten what city traffic is like. :scared1: No time to post pad. Skipping out on a tour that was thrown in at the last minute so I can return emails, calls and see what mayhem you have all been up to. Being readily accessible at all hours isn't a good thing. I want to go back to rotary phones, rolodexes and snail mail.

... What is that joke? Been happily married for 5 years....... .........

Been married a total of 17 years...
They say the best humor has a touch of truth in it.:rolleyes1

...Good news! DD made the top D1 team for hoops. She had tryouts most of the weekend and was the only 11 year old that was able to dribble and hit left handed lay ups:woohoo: (except the left handed girl:rolleyes1). Was ranked #2 out of 37 girls. Still waiting to hear about DS placement. ...
And the Phins lost too! I don't know what evil you did to deserve it, but keep it coming.:lmao::lmao:

Congrats to your DD!

Squish the Fish!

...
Would it be un-Disney of us to play "no blood, no foul?"

The Former Big East rules.

Got y’all beat in the category of screwed up handedness.
I’m a lefty and use that hand for all things that require precision, but I use the right hand for all things that require brute force. ....

My daughter is 9 and is still trying to decide which she should use. I think if given the opportunity she would be quite the ambidextrous athlete.

My Lord. . .don't know about the rest of the country, but I swear it feels like it's about to snow here. . .the temp almost got down into the 50's.

In the 60's today, but supposed to drop to freezing tonight and then 40's to low 50's until next week. Blame it on the Canadians as usual.

Actually it was a great weekend! Sorry about the Bills ruining your day, but even a blind pig finds an acorn once in a while. They find a way to win just often enough to keep us hoping that this will be "the year" to make up for our perpetual suffering. Actually really don't want them to be too successful. Suffering with the Bills prepares us for the lake effect snows, the Sabres, the Canadian invasions,...

DO pigs actually eat acorns?:confused3

Good Morning Fellas!!!!

Thanks for the pic. Hope AK was fun and enjoy the party tonight. I am a little jealous.

DO pigs actually eat acorns?:confused3...

The do. They are actually very self-sufficient and will eat just about anything which is why the settlers kept them around. When a litter was born they could notch the ear for ID purposes and turn them loss to roam the forest until killing time. The chestnut was one of the pigs main foods in Appalachia before Chestnut Blight hit.

Morning guys. Less than 2 weeks from our trip. I'm ready... ;)

Got room in the trunk? I'll be quiet when Fed pulls you over.

Would it be un-Disney of us to play "no blood, no foul?"

You want to play with rules?:confused3:lmao::lmao:

I’m a lefty and use that hand for all things that require precision, but I use the right hand for all things that require brute force.

So for things like pen, knives, razors… for those I use the left hand
But implements like hammers, wrenches, most sporting gear… those are done right handed.
Then there are the oddball things where I’ll switch back and forth like say… paint brushes, screwdrivers or pool cues.

Married a lefty as well. She can’t do anything with her right hand to save her life.
Our boy, however, is completely right handed and is actually the oddball in the house.

Never mind… Mark wins.

So what you are saying is that you are built like a fiddler crab? (sorry, no pic):rotfl2::rotfl2:

Hmmmph, I knew they ate just about anything. Acorns would have been something I would have guessed no to. See that's why I come here. I learn something every day.

Says the guy who gets more snow then us...:rotfl2:

I actually read something about that not to long ago. The article was about Canadian left handed hitters. Seems that whatever the mechanics are with shooting a puck right handed translate into swinging a bat left handed. Or something like that.

ETA: Found the article. http://www.theglobeandmail.com/spor...nings-linked-to-national-game/article9490807/

Ooo...Canadian newspaper at that....

So if I switched to batting left I'll improve? :scratchin I'll leave the golf swing where it is, as it stands, I'm the only one who'll inherit Dad's expensive Ping irons by shooting right :rotfl2:

So you got a couple of definite wins!
!

Let me remind you we lost to the Chargers :confused3

With those seat locations, any game is a good game to watch.

You buying? I want more tattoos, and a Disney one would be cool.

Yes, great seats :thumbsup2

Whose paying for more tattoos, I'm in :thumbsup2

I wouldn't expect anything less from you... :lmao:

I'm in!

No. The only thing I do better with my left hand than right is dribble a basketball. I have no idea why, and it makes no sense. :confused3 :rotfl2:

Is there any other way to play? :confused3

Team Indiana. We'll totally dominate, I can throw you alley oop passes all day. Just for the record, I'm the greatest shooter to ever come out of my backyard :thumbsup2:lmao:

We might be screwed then. I can defend the paint, but I'm not very good about hanging out in the lane and playing offense with my back to the basket. I've either got to shoot a jumper or drive the lane.

But the older I get, the more my offense resembles standing around the 3 point line waiting to catch and shoot so I don't have to run back as far on defense. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

I could dunk, but I don't want to hurt my back :lmao:

As a basketball player. . .I'm a hockey player.

A bit of bummer news today, though not definite. Long story short I hope, DD had 3 knee surgeries tied to torn meniscus which ended her soccer playing days after Jr year of high school. First two were by one Dr and then third by the Titans (NFL) which seemed to clean up several things and she was better, but that was about 18 months ago. We had her checked out by him while she was home on fall break as the pain has been back for a bit now. Well after exam and MRI he wants us to have a consult with his partner that does meniscus transplants which has been a known possibility at some point for her. We don't know if she is a candidate for this surgery or if that is even what he ends up recommending but the MRI showed a significant reduced or re-tear of the meniscus so wanting to get another opinion is not a good sign. We are gonna wait until mid December when she is back home for the consultation so any positive thoughts between now and then appreciated and thanks for listening.

Know it sounds petty but we were gonna hit Aulani the end of next June so may have to wait past our 7 month DVC window to book based on whatever we find out in December.

I have a great post game and totally dominate in the paint. Did I mention i'm coaching dd & her 9-10 year old basketball team. :lmao:

I was thin enough to dunk a basketball in college, without dribbling and no one playing defense.

Hope the consult goes well. Prayers for dd.

Not sure what you're doing with brute force and screwdrivers, pool cues, etc but remind me not to make you mad.

Darcy's buying. Me and my two dds will play you and your team of 6. Bring on the backyard battle.

Yeah, it was cases of Stella Artois and Innis and Gunn too....Even worse, I barely damaged any PBR on the stacks :sad2:

You said the PBR was safe. That's the important thing. :lmao:

Would it be un-Disney of us to play "no blood, no foul?"

I was thinking of oxygen breaks.

I'm ambidextrous. I can use the remote control equally well with either hand.

I can drink beer good with both. That's a game i can really win.

I have been thinking about buying another for me. You, my friend, are on your own.

But i already told David you were buying. Too late now.

‘Morning all…
Had to head back to work to find enough time to check in again. L-o-n-g weekend of packing boxes and moving them into storage. House is about two thirds empty now. Still much to do though, but I do have the evening and another weekend to get it under control.

Musta missed this... Sounds like you are moving. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

How much bubble wrap you using??? :lmao:

Good Mornings Guys!!

Just enjoying a morning coffee while the rest of the family catches up on some sleep.

I miss that place... enjoy it Nick...

Last time I was there, I believe you ran into my wife and kids in the lobby... while I was grabbing things from the room.

:thumbsup2

This thread is completely overwhelming and terrifying but whatever. I'm 46 (it's really like 30 days with weekends )days out from my trip and looking for ways to waste time.

We are going with our 2 girls (5 and 4) and we are bringing my parents and my brother and his friend.

I'll admit, I don't have any character tattoos yet, but maybe drinking around the world this year will lead to something new.

:welcome: to the DISDads...

Prayers it works out favourably.

You said the PBR was safe. That's the important thing. :lmao:

I didn't say it was safe to drink. :rolleyes1
