Anyone guess where I'm having dinner tonight?

Make sure you ask for Ketchup

Or catsup. . .never knew why they were spelled differently.

I actually do know why, so don't post a wiki-blahblah.

I assume you're eating at Whispering Canyon. (love the cornbread).

Ah,, Mondays...just about to work when DW calls to tell methe school called, I had to pick up the youngest, she is under the weather, so had to call in and turn around. I had a big work day too, plus it's my new boss' first day, just to make it better. :rotfl2: Also it;s our 13th anniversary today.

Just glad DW and I had our anniversary dinner Saturday, tonight looks to be very low key.

:rotfl2:

Happy anniversary Mr and Mrs BigTikiDaddy!!

This thread is completely overwhelming and terrifying but whatever. I'm 46 (it's really like 30 days with weekends )days out from my trip and looking for ways to waste time.

We are going with our 2 girls (5 and 4) and we are bringing my parents and my brother and his friend.

I'll admit, I don't have any character tattoos yet, but maybe drinking around the world this year will lead to something new.

Welcome to the Club!

Character tattoos are not required but they are great conversation starters while waiting in line.

Flat on your back? :confused3

I was sitting on one of those comfy chairs and laying way back for that pic, I also ate way too much for dinner......

Either way I could be laying flat on my back!!

:lmao:

Just got back from MK EMH....time for bed.

Good Morning! Should be a interesting day. Meetings and only 4 hours of sleep.

Welcome to the club! :thumbsup2 We're at 47 days today, so it looks like we'll be there at the same time. Staying on property?

Wow... I haven't seen the broad side of midnight in quite a while. Good job closing that park down! :cool2: Or was it easier cause you are still on Canadian time? :lmao::lmao:

No chance to go all the way back and catch up but I did see Mike is retiring.

:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Congrats Mike! Hope you and the Mrs. enjoy the new life stage.

PEANUT BUTTER, BEVERLY of a weekend of football.

Actually it was a great weekend! Sorry about the Bills ruining your day, but even a blind pig finds an acorn once in a while. They find a way to win just often enough to keep us hoping that this will be "the year" to make up for our perpetual suffering. Actually really don't want them to be too successful. Suffering with the Bills prepares us for the lake effect snows, the Sabres, the Canadian invasions,...

First we saw this...

Nice. Have a great trip!

Morning guys. We met with another family who adopted from Poland on Saturday. It was great watching the kids play and see that even when there is a language barrier, laughter is universally understood :thumbsup2

Kids adapt quicker than adults do to new cultures. I'm still trying to figure out Kentucky :lmao:

Consider yourself lucky. We lost over 4 hours fixing issues our first couple of days.

Letting the kids sleep in a bit today. They were both wiped out last night. We had to wait almost an hour for a bus because a bus broke down right at the entrance of the bus area at Magic Kingdom

Not good news but a bad day at Disney is better than a good day in the office.

‘Morning all…
Had to head back to work to find enough time to check in again. L-o-n-g weekend of packing boxes and moving them into storage. House is about two thirds empty now. Still much to do though, but I do have the evening and another weekend to get it under control.

It will be a great feeling once you get settled. I asked the pilot to fly over your place and wag the wings on the way into Charlotte yesterday but he didn't think that was a good idea.

...By the way, I passed a beige minivan from Ohio this morning (Yes, Barry, I *passed* it.....) that could be, or at least should be a DisDad. Had a couple of kids in the back with the Disney Family cutouts and a DVC sticker on the back windshield.

I flashed the red and blues at whoever it was, so if it was you, that was just Fed saying hello. (This would have been on I 95 outside of Jacksonville, FL)

:rotfl2:

...Not all minivans have the after-market modifications that mine does. ..

Is that the cheese powered exhaust?

Morning....Kid is well again, actually by the afternoon she was bouncing around, so she got to go to Sparks :headache:

Today is my scheduled day off, so no work again, but man, I will likely pay for it tomorrow.

But they don't even have fish & chip there....or was that the point?

Glad she's felt better, enjoy your day off.

Speaking of which, what is the site you use for finding unique dining? I tried a few but couldn't come up with much.

For your reference (and anyone else in future trip research)

I use Road Food a good bit.

Then there's Flavortown USA, where someone with way too much time on their hands mapped out every single place that was featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives.

And if all else fails, I enter the city and state into Trip Advisor or Yelp and see how the restaurant rankings shake out.

One more: Travel Channel's Chowdown Countdown

Good morning Dads! We have had a pretty good past few days with DD back home for fall break, though we did not see her that much it was nice to have her back home at least to sleep :lmao: Having lunch with her today before she heads back off to school.

That's a negative ghost rider :rotfl2:

I got the Titans and Rams games this year.
So you got a couple of definite wins!
Good Morning Fellas!!!!
