I know it is just the lighting and the angle, but that jacket looks almost purple in that picture. Dare I say it... Ravens purple... :crazy2:

Why don't you just walk up and kick him in the ding ding

Today's 5 hour day was rough, but I did manage to get in a couple podcasts. I went and paid the vehicle taxes and now I got to cut the grass. 9 more sleeps...

Playa :rotfl2:

Practice makes perfect! :thumbsup2

I actually ran last night. Part of our wellness program at work is that we're supposed to walk a mile every Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. We were working on the farm and I didn't get home until after 10pm. I was tired and decided I was going to run so I could get done quicker and go to bed. About .1 mile in, I stepped in a hole and went down like a sack of bricks. Yelled a few different four letter words. Finally got up and ended up walking the rest of the way.

Thankfully, my ankles are so screwed up that I can roll them, curse and scream for about 5 minutes and then I'm good.

Anyway, moral of the story: Running sucks, running is dangerous... especially after dark. :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

And thus ended an epic basketball career :rotfl2:

I kid, we have a guy at work who swears he played in high school with Isaih and was the number two scorer on that team for a couple of games. Then he hurt his ankles the day before team pictures :confused3

I like our process better. If we did it 'their' way, someone would post Green Eggs & Ham 1 word per post. :crazy2:
you are just going to give ideas for the next race to close

Yeah. That was round 1 of the meds. I had finished them on day 2 of the trip and thought it was gone. Then right after we got back had to go back in. That was round 2. This will be round 3. I'm just going to ask for the best stuff they have and for as long as I can take it without needing a liver transplant. I'll kill it or it will kill me. Will let you know how it turns out in a few weeks. If I all of a sudden stop posting, assume I lost.:lmao::lmao:

:lmao::rotfl2::rotfl: How convenient!

And I will still be playing basketball 2 nights a week this winter. I just brace up and as long as there's no pain from the Achilles area, I just play through it. My ankles are just so screwed up that I can literally be walking in a straight line on a perfectly level surface and they'll give way. It hurts for a few hours and usually the next morning it is like it never happened.

You sure you aren't my wife? Her ankles do the same.... SMH

I am really thinking of doing both. They are on back to back weekends. If I do both then I submit my better time to RunDisney :thumbsup2
Excellent Idea.:thumbsup2

They should do it this way:

mile 1 :drinking1

mile 2 :drinking1:drinking1

mile 3 :drinking1:drinking1:drinking1
Excellenter Idea :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Especially when your nemesis sends a pickup truck after you.

Don't know why, but it stuck me as funny that when you need advice about finishing last, go to Barry.

I'm running a 10k in Chicago on Saturday. It's called the Crosstown Classic. When registering I had to declare if I was supporting South side (yes) or North side (yeah right). Your race shirt is different depending on which side you chose and they are going to average the times of the first 1,000 finishers for each team to determine a winner. It should be fun. Starts in Grant Park and runs past Soldier Field and McCormick Center. Hoping I feel good so I can get a decent time to submit for Disney.

Have fun storming the Eyesore at the Lakeshore.

True.... but who can I get to pay for my room, food, airline tickets, park tickets, and for all that beer is to be consumed? :confused3 popcorn::
I'll pay for the Dole Whips.:confused3

... looks like a 'mug' shot. ;)

:thumbsup2 Approved.

I enjoyed starting a logo fight in the introductions thread. This looks like a fun place.

Ok Eddie Murphy.

That same thing happened to me right before all the cool stuff I did that I don't have pictures to show you I did them.

Welcome. Dues are payable in dole whips, beer, bacon, and cake. You send them to me and I will distribute them.

Hope all are doing well and enjoying the first hump day of the new thread. At airport for flight home tonight and thought I would check in. Did a fly by on the conversations as there has been lots of talk since Monday morning so welcom to any new guys I may have missed, thoughts & prayers to any that need them and congratulations to all the kids accomplishements and neww Disney trips booked - Cheers.

Ahhh, just got to customize my magicbands! Finally!

Whats all this about a November meet-up BTW? When is that? I know I'm new, but I'd still like to meet some folks if I have time, :dance3:

Aug will be my one brother in laws 50th birthday. The rest of the family wants to take him to Vegas for it. He said he did not want to go to Vegas I said lets go to Disney and he said great idea!! so now it looks like I have to honor that. Sometime one has to make great sacrifices for others:lmao:

Way to take one for the team Carl... ;)

And to think I actually had to talk him into going?!? :lmao:

Who "actually" talked who into going?

All year long... you were NO, NO, NO...

Until I texted and said, why not just go... and how quickly the tides turn... :lmao: :cool1:

You're welcome nemesis... :lmao:

Speaking of drinking, I'm running the Milwaukee Brewers 10k on Saturday. Starts in the parking lot of Miller Park, goes up and around Miller Brewery, comes back to the stadium, runs around the warning track and finishes out in the parking lot.

Oh, and you get two free beers just for running. :drinking1:drinking1

What do you get in the stands for watching??? :lmao:

Check on page 1. Randall will post people's trips when they let him know. I was able to meet up with two DisDads during the October trip. Just a quick stop and picture with Lee. Philip and I were able to get together during a parade. Then, there is the DDC 2 with dads making dining reservations for others. I have met up with my nemesis DisDad numerous times, but never at WDW.

We've got a thread in the sub forum with crazy DisDad meets and locations.
