When i first saw, 3+ months ago when I took the new job, I thought..."Can it be? A fellow DISDad? Here...in my city...in my building?"


I asked what the story was b\c the guy's name is Mike.He said his manager put it there once he had his son b\c ..."Once you have a kid, you lose your original identity."

Life Lesson for DISDads #143:

Don;t let the DW "poke around" My Disney Experience where FastPass+ is concerned.

Let's just say I was on the phone with the Disney help Desk last night. I learned a few things about MDE along the way, too.

1. The wife made FP+ choices but paid no attention to the fact our kids were not included! So all of the FP were for 2 instead of 4!
2. I was able to have my wife "invite" the kids to be part of the family under her account (i was already managing them under my account)
3. Whomever makes tje FP+ sections, has to cancel or modify themselves. (i.e., my wife booked on our behalf. Even though I have her as family and vice versa, I can't just change on her behalf if she made the original FP+ selection. It makes sense but isn't really explained anywhere that I could see.)
4. As logical as it seems after going through this, it's going to cause major headaches for Disney. I will say this, the CM that helped me was very pleasant and patient. But simply make sure that you set the kids up under both parents and make sure you keep track of which parent made the FP+ selection so it will be easier to modify.

So, saw the doctor and back on antibiotics. Only this time I have steroids to go with them. Don't get excited, I was given the talk that these are sugar based steriods and not the ones that help performance. I then asked for the other ones instead and he just laughed. If it's not gone in 10 days, I'll need to go see an ear, throat specialist. Wish me luck.



I wonder how I am still here sometimes. Watch your back.
