How are the crops doing? Still too much rain? Never thought you'd be saying that after last year. Hopefully the conditions are good.

We have actually avoided a couple of the last storms, but still wet. Last month was about 20% above normal and we have had a normal total July rainfall in just 10 days. I really wish it would never rain. I can drop a pump in the river and have all the water I want, when and where I want. We also have less disease and insect problems in a drought year.

Who knew we'd be laughing about Marco Polo? Got love this place.
