I have a harder time seeing his style translate to the NBA (and the associated egos) and other coaches. It will be a tough road for him, that's for sure.

For the past 2 months life has been a bit hectic. We welcomed Gabriella into the world and I've been working like a dog... but don't feel to bad for me, I was able to talk Melody into using our APs one more time before they expire Nov. 2.

I hope all is well with everyone and I should be able to pop in here from time to time.

Thanks! I have been waiting a long time to finally stay at the Poly. I am SO looking forward to it!

We will be staying our first two nights at the Royal Pacific Resort at The Dark Side® before we go to the Poly for 7 nights. I will do a direct comparison review for my blog (and trip report here on The DIS) when we get back.

Got to stay at the Poly for a couple of night a few years ago. I would love to stay an entire trip there.

I remember it being discussed previously here...Started watching Once Upon a Time today. On Season 1 - Episode 2 and I think I'm already hooked.

Thanks Ron. It is 2:00 AM and we are scheduled to be discharged. 4 hours isn't long enough in ER. Blood work showed higher WBC, but nothing substantial. Dr thinks it was allergic reaction that caused the delirium and fainting. They gave her some steroids and Benadryl. I probably could have just done that at home, but I had never seen my kid faint before. And, it didn't help with younger dd saying her older sister was going to die. Thankfully, my MIL came and picked up younger one, and she is now happy because she gets a sleepover and donuts at her grandma's house.

Pediatrician said that 75% of the cause of these allergic reactions is unknown, until a second incident happens. We have an epi pen now as a precaution, but he also said it could be a one time deal and never happen again. She'll be n a round of steroids to make sure no more flair ups.

Glad she is better.

True. When I do housework, I have to have my headphones on listening to either some music or a Disney podcast (ie. DisDads Pocast.) DW gets upset because I can't hear her - heck, she should just be happy I help with housework!

I do my best work when I'm home alone

I put mine to work. They aren't the best, but they can do some work.

Well I found out you can fight City Hall and win, and also parents advice is not as stupid as it sounds at the time Let me explain, Last week I got a code violation for a law that came about in 2000, The time I put it up was 1993, with a very rare thing that most people can not produce known as a receipt from 20 yrs prior, which me Dad made me save, actually cleared me of any violation,I did call my Dad and Thank him for making me save it, it made his day, Who knows maybe some kind of advice I give my son may pay off many years later

Well... big news story in Indianapolis today. Brad Stevens leaving Butler to coach the Boston Celtics. Wow.

I was quite shocked to hear that.

Happy 4th from the land of tyrants. Stood in front of Parliament this morning and yelled, "No taxation without representation! Down with King George!"

We will be celebrating our county's Independence in an all American way. High Tea in a couple of hours and then the theater tonight. We will be seeing that American classic, Spamalot. Best we can do on this side of the Pond.
