Just kidding. When you cruise with Disney, you can book another cruise while still on-board and get 10% off. Most of the time, you don't know when you'll be cruising again, so they book some random cruise in the future for you - a dummy cruise that you won't end up going on. When you get home and decide when you want to cruise again, you call them up and transfer your booking to the new dates. Since you are just changing the reservation that was booked onboard, the 10% discount goes with it.

And there I was thinking they had a test before they let you on. If you pass it they void your vacation. :lmao::lmao:

Now, I just have to take a cruise to book a cruise. I've been looking at using my DVC points for a cruise. For just DW and I for a 3 day cruise over our anniversary, it would be 150 points. So, we wouldn't have to pay for a cruise, but would have to do airfare. It would be a long drive for 3 nights.

The cost of the flights were always what we looked at when thinking about a cruise. After looking at the price of the cruise and the airfare together we always make the decision to spend it at WDW and save some $$. Now if the cruise were free, I could see the decision being a lot simpler.

I have to pick her up tonight after work. she works till 1:30am but im not holding my breath. :lmao: she is going to call me when she punches out, till she walks thru the tunnel and gets the bus. a few things I didn't know, unless your in upper management, everyone takes a bus into the mk that drops you off at the tunnel entrance. yes, I said tunnel. my entire life I was told, utilidor, nope, cms call it a tunnel or one. the park is two and the offices above the main street buildings are three.
I asked her how is the cafeteria? messed up again, that is a mousecateria. :rotfl2:
she was talking to tammy on her lunch break last night. she muddered something about staying and her and one of her friends that she works with and hangs out with get an apartment together and going for full time jobs. :scared:
that's today, tomorrow may bring something new. tammy and I were talking tonight and if she decides to stay, work full time, we are going to look at condos close by. it would be cheaper then renting at this point. I would look into it but we are thinking maybe the three of us would buy something, she could live in it, pay the bills and get a roommate if she wants.
she could take classes on line, she has another two years to go for her ba.
so we will see what she plans on doing. she has only been her a month and yes, the magic is gone. :lmao: its a job.:lmao: but, we are not wealthy so she has to work, if you have to work why not do it here. :thumbsup2
the same problems you have here are the same you will run into any where.

DisDad approved. Maybe even close to a manlaw. "if you have to work, do it at WDW!". What say you?

A condo sounds like a good idea if Brianna decides to stay and work. I know a few people with Condo's in the area that rent them out when they are not there. They're not decked out Disney, but very nice. Some even have their own little pool attached. Good luck.

Seabrook! 'Hawks win!!

Was that game crazy or what? The Bruins were outplayed from the start and still managed to take it to OT. I don't know if it's the ice in Boston or what, but the puck was bouncing everywhere. The Bruins goal that was off the glass, over the top of the net and then a goal was pretty funny. Should make for an interesting best of 3. Congrats to the Hawks.

Morning guys :coffee:

:wave2: Hi David. How's the fundraising coming along?

Do they have to be clever? :confused3

No. That was a high expectation.

I guess they need to be clean though

They were fast and furious over on FB. Clean words. Not clean sentiment.

DW said no for our 15th in 2015 as we have a Washngton DC trip that year. Maybe for our 20th. Oldest will be in college then and will have to lock up youngest somewhere. I am not returning home to some unsupervised teenage party weekend at my house.

I wouldn't want to rent out my own condo, but I thought about purchasing something now and renting it over the next 10 years until I can retire, using the rental income to pay for it. With the Fed's announcement, looks like interest rates will be going back up, so I guess it is now or never. But, I don't have the cash for an outright purchase, and Dave Ramsey says not to finance a rental property. So, it looks like I will miss the rush on cheap FL homes, and will just hope I don't get a swampland deal down the road.

Great idea :thumbsup2
I second it :thumbsup2

Ok guys, At one time Man Laws were things that could and should be followed by us DISDads. This one doesn't seems to fit that mold. So, I need a third and a fourth to make this a Man Law. Also, if I get a Condo in Fl, by WDW, I will be breaking it! :thumbsup2

Hey Canadian guys...one of my buddies at RCMP sent me this...

I'm still laughing...:lmao::lmao::lmao:

And, some more humor? A family really thinks it will win a lawsuit against the corporate Mickey lawyer? No chance

That was the first thing they yelled. Not are you ok? But I'm gonna sue!!!
I would love to see how many law suits are brought up against them. Or, do you think there isn't a lawyer around who would take a case like that? People are nuts!!! If I did that when I was a kid, my dad would have had said good for ya!! Won't do that again will you? Lol

Sounds like my dad too...:lmao:

From FB likes, Barry won with his "It started off as a tropical depression, then realized it was Barry, and stopped being depressed and started being awesome". However, since he submitted two entries, he was disqualified.

I told you I would second it only for camper hookups at CJ's or Oscar's.

Heat won. What a great final game. Series could have been better with the games 2-5 blowouts, but still good in the end. Spurs played a great series as well.

Wait a minute; CJ's yard doesn't already have a camper hook-up???? :confused3

I know, isn't that weird. What is wrong with him? Flying around the world and paying for college instead of installing camper hookups for us to mooch of him. What terrible priorities. :lmao:

Now that the grill is all fixed does anyone have any tips on how to clean the stainless steel ( IMO this was the worst idea ever for a outside product:crazy2:, I want to get a black one now much easier to take care of), my ideas are either brake cleaner, maybe turpentine or WD-40 :confused3, worse comes to worse I can always sand prep & paint it with high heat paint:confused3

YES!

5:20 am in Dover, UK. Woke up about 4:00 and listened to the end of the game. Post game is on now.

Today is a visit to the Dover Castle and a ferry ride across the Channel. Tonight we spend the night in Calais and then off to Germany. Have to admit, life doesn't suck right now.
