Welcome back! Glad to hear you had a great trip.

That is the worst part of the WDW vacation. I am going that after we retire FL in another decade, that few hour drive won't be so bad.

Glad you had a good trip.

The best way to cure the blues is to start planning the next trip. Glad you made it home safe. Look at the bright side. If you go back to work you'll have more time for these boards.:lmao::lmao:

Thanks guys. It was a good trip. I am in the office now and it feels very unDisney like. I can't find a Hidden Mickey anywhere.

Good news is that I DID book a Dummy Cruise while we were on board. Just need to figure out when we will actually take it.

OK- I give up. What's a dummy cruise?

Anything booked on Carnival. :rotfl:

Just kidding. When you cruise with Disney, you can book another cruise while still on-board and get 10% off. Most of the time, you don't know when you'll be cruising again, so they book some random cruise in the future for you - a dummy cruise that you won't end up going on. When you get home and decide when you want to cruise again, you call them up and transfer your booking to the new dates. Since you are just changing the reservation that was booked onboard, the 10% discount goes with it.

Happy Birthday Dave and Audrey.

.

Thank you

The real perspective is that my nemesis is older than me. So, with that, David will always be really old. :lmao:

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 - - - - not thumbs

Just wait until I'm so old you have to change my depends at the DISDad retirement home :lmao:

Just think about how much older my nemesis is than I am. :rolleyes1 :rotfl2::lmao:

I know... low blow, but he's enjoying Disney World right now while I'm stuck at work so I really don't care. :thumbsup2

You sir, have a point

Good Morning and Happy Birthday!

Thank you!

Happy 40th David!

Happy Birthday Audrey!

Last night in Shropshire. Lovely time here and lots of memories. We head to Germany starting tomorrow. Tomorrow night we will be in Kent and the following day we board the ferry to Calais. I will try to post a few pictures as we go.

Thank you CJ! Sounds like a great trip!

Let the Disney Blues begin... :(

Back at home after the drive yesterday. Left OKW around 10:45 yesterday morning and with two stops to fuel up, two stops to empty out, and one more stop at the in-law's house to pick up the dog, we pulled into our driveway just a bit after midnight.

It was a great trip and our longest vacation ever. It's nice to be home, but I'd rather be waking up with a view of the fountain and hole 6 of the Lake Buena Vista Golf Course or the Atlantic Ocean. Ah well, back to work for a bit later today to begin the catch up.

Have a Disney Day!

Welcome back and glad you had safe travels. I hear ya, just got back Saturday and thankfully a 3 day work week this week due to DDs college orientaiton tomorrow & Friday. Ful work week right after coming back from WDW and/or DCL would be rougher.

Now, I just have to take a cruise to book a cruise. I've been looking at using my DVC points for a cruise. For just DW and I for a 3 day cruise over our anniversary, it would be 150 points. So, we wouldn't have to pay for a cruise, but would have to do airfare. It would be a long drive for 3 nights.

Just wait until I'm so old you have to change my depends at the DISDad retirement home :lmao:

!

Even if I got to use the garden hose, I still would never do that.

I've done those full weeks after a week at WDW during Fall Break. They are rough.

hello!! let me start by saying we made adrs for three and added extras adrs when we got brianas work times.
there are times on this trip she just isn't able to join us. so, in true zerf fashion we like to send pictures. :lmao:

the other day we had an adr for breakfast at crystal palace. (one of brianas favorite places to eat I may add) :lmao:

here are the pictures she got:

this first one is the bacon. she looooooves the bacon:

this next one is what she has been eating there since she was old enough talk:

don't feel bad for the kid! remember she can eat there when ever she wants. dad would even pay if she asked nicely. :lmao:

last but not least :sad2: :

we were sitting with our heads close together and at the last second, jumped in front of the camera.lol

Evening everyone...

Audrey loved all the birthday wishes, thank you everyone. She had a good day, her class went to the local fire station, and she according to her, "got to drive the fire truck" :lmao:

Quiet night, we had her favorite meal (pizza) and her Hello Kitty cake I baked, DW decorated quite well.

Got most of the trip paid off today too, just one more to go next week!:cool1:

I've been wanting to buy a new grille for some time now, mine is 6yrs old, burners are almost non existent, have dime sized holes from where the burner bracket rivets were, with everything burned out it was like a flamethrower a disaster waiting to happen.

I thought I had solid justification to buy a new one, but the Boss (wife) informed me not this year:furious:, so today I decided to restore it, I picked up new burners, they are not hard to replace normally but I had burned out holes where the brackets used to be, so it's off to the garage, my tools of choice for this project - High Speed air drill, air metal cut off wheel, sheet metal, small sheet metal screws, screwdriver & a welding hammer:thumbsup2

I was going to weld my patches, but then the grill would last for years, and that would defeat my purpose, I don't need it to last forever, I still want a new grill:confused3

So after patching, reconstructing new brackets for the burners, making new studs for the burner guards, it worked better then I think it ever did, so while I was cooking tonight my wife comes out to see how it's working sand says wow thats works great, I knew you could fix it thats why I keep you around:lmao:

OK so I'm not getting a grill, but revenge is best served cold, since I work in a freezer I'm the guy for the job:rotfl2:, next time she has something that she really wants to replace believe me I will fix it so it lasts FOREVER:thumbsup2:rotfl:

Awesome, I like the way you think.....:thumbsup2

I have to pick her up tonight after work. she works till 1:30am but im not holding my breath. :lmao: she is going to call me when she punches out, till she walks thru the tunnel and gets the bus. a few things I didn't know, unless your in upper management, everyone takes a bus into the mk that drops you off at the tunnel entrance. yes, I said tunnel. my entire life I was told, utilidor, nope, cms call it a tunnel or one. the park is two and the offices above the main street buildings are three.
I asked her how is the cafeteria? messed up again, that is a mousecateria. :rotfl2:
she was talking to tammy on her lunch break last night. she muddered something about staying and her and one of her friends that she works with and hangs out with get an apartment together and going for full time jobs. :scared:
that's today, tomorrow may bring something new. tammy and I were talking tonight and if she decides to stay, work full time, we are going to look at condos close by. it would be cheaper then renting at this point. I would look into it but we are thinking maybe the three of us would buy something, she could live in it, pay the bills and get a roommate if she wants.
she could take classes on line, she has another two years to go for her ba.
so we will see what she plans on doing. she has only been her a month and yes, the magic is gone. :lmao: its a job.:lmao: but, we are not wealthy so she has to work, if you have to work why not do it here. :thumbsup2
the same problems you have here are the same you will run into any where.

Glad your having a GREAT time:thumbsup2, you look a little tired, almost looks like a zombie feasting:rotfl: Enjoy the rest of your trip:thumbsup2

a lot of the stories she tells us.......:lmao:

she was telling us the one day there was a lady smoking by the tea cups. as trained and told what to say, the lady said, " that's not your place to tell me that"!

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

briana called security and the guard said, oh ill take care of that. she just kept walking never looked back. :lmao:

some questions:

1. do you have dr. pepper, I need a dr. pepper?
2. why is the roof of the castle blue?
3. whats the wire hanging off the castle?
4. what kind of beer do you have?
5. why is it so much? your a rip off!!
my favorite, wheres the loo??? :lmao: she had no idea what a loo was.:lmao:

they have radio codes for everything. a kid climbing on the green railings fell off a split his head open, parents are suing by the way.

theres more.... I just cant think of them but she said its a blast dealing with people. :lmao:
