Sounds intense. We are only in a county of 70,000 and soccer just doesn't rank very highly for most people. There are some who are really into it, but there isn't an over 40 fat, drunk guy league. I could star in that one.

We have a fat drunk guy league. But it is softball.

Woohoo Wednesday! Two days until departure for 8 days in the world!

Matt

You are still counting days? You should be counting hours now. We are down to 1773 hours till we leave

Next week my vacation starts. On Sunday 6/16 is my first day in the Magic Kingdom in 13 years!

Also, the first time with my daughters.

Awesome. have a good trip.

more CRUD.

We are slowly digging our way out of the hole from the weather but still don't have our bean research plot planted though the plastic is down now. Strawberries are done until I start with next years project in less than a month :scared1: Big storms rolling through again. SWMBO and kids are already having struggles on their own. I guess that is their plan to help me live a long time...they can't function without me. :headache:

The wine bottle has gone down quickly this summer.

Hope it all turns around for you...

Woo! Have a great time! They might have made a few changes since then though, but the Dole Whips are in the same place. ;)

Today I felt pretty stupid, I was woking in the yard and came into change clothes before I went to the store, well stupid me I get back outside and realize I locked the keys in the house:scared1:, No big deal, I have a spare hidden, I go to get it and it's gone:scared1:, Now I start to panic I have to pick up my son from school in a little over a hour, I call my wife and ask her about the spare key, she told me she had to use it the other day after my son locked the door on the way out when playing in the yard and it's on the dresser:scared1:

OK now I have to break in, having a father who was a cop and hearing how the bad guys get in needless to say it's locked up like Fort Knox:rolleyes1

My only saving grace was that I didn't lock the garage yet (with all my auto body air tools:worship:) I have 150ft of air hose and made it to the front door with plenty to spare, Without going into detail on how I did it, I was in it took about 5mins, got my keys, no damage to the door, the lock still worked but I did pick up a new one and replaced it:thumbsup2

I will say the newer locks are a lot stronger then I expected

I'm glad you got in. All I know is that if the lock still worked, you and I don't use our air tools the same way.

here comes another update.

she found out last night she got written up on june 3rd at work.

she was written up by a manager for only being her second day alone and when the shift ended, her cart was cleaned, inventoried and ready for the stockers. she sent me a picture of the form but I don't think I should post it. not sure if its ok.

we learned this during one of the keys to the kingdom tours we took. cms work under four keys, safety, courtesy, show and efficiency.
they really pound these key words into cms heads. the manager wrote her up for courtesy and efficiency.

she just called tammy, they are expecting bad storms. in bad storms or lighting with in 5 miles of the mk, she has to close up and head to the utilidors. if its a real bad storm, they hold them in the utilidors and wont let them leave till its safe. she always text when shes leaving work and when she gets home. she just called to warn us she may not be texting tonight on time pending the storm. her phone don't work to well in the utilidor and just wanted us to know she will be safe. I guess the park guest are on there own in the storm.:lmao:

Congrats to her :cool1: thanks for the updates Dave, we really enjoy them :thumbsup2

just an fyi, i don't post anything that you cant find on the internet somewhere. she really don't tell me much about behind the scenes stuff. im sure there are things they are not suppose to talk about and she don't. i have gotten, in so many words, i could tell you but then i would have to kill you answer already. :lmao:

Spoken like a true Italian :lmao:

I'm glad you got in. All I know is that if the lock still worked, you and I don't use our air tools the same way.

Amen, I would have had to replace the whole freakin door :lmao:

I thought it meant she got in trouble lol, I was thinking that's a terrible thing to do to someone on their second day alone, glad it was a good thing

Sent from my iPad using DISBoards

I thought the same thing!! Glad to hear its a GOOD thing!

I got worried when I read "written up", but it sounds like this is a good thing. Nice work Briana! :thumbsup2

Keep posting these Dave. I love reading the bits from her point of view as well.

Must say I was also concerned at first by the “Written Up” bit of the tale.
Glad that in Wonderland it means the opposite of what it does in the real world.

Great bathroom Randall
Congrats to Briana

Ain’t it nice to be needed

Nightmare scenario quickly avoided…

“Commando Style!”

Now all you need to do is invent a silly dance and you to can become a YouTube sensation.

:lmao: :rotfl2: :rotfl:

Agreed, but while he said that the lock still worked…
He did not specify whether or not one still needed a key to operate said lock.

So it looks like there are known workers at Disney. Not that I would ever do anything unethical, but if I knew where people were, and I could be there when they were working, I would most certainly ensure that while I am there I would write up a few kind words about the service, help, whatever, for these workers.

Not sure if that is allowed, but feel free to PM me if anyone thinks that their child/or themselves could use a good word from a guest in the park about the outstanding service they provide. :)

Only 6 days until I leave, and 10 days until I am in Magic Kingdom! :)

Morning Guys.

One more day this week and then it's the weekend. :cool1::cool1:

Traveling next week to the big city of Winnipeg. Should be fun!

Maybe they hate Duke in Warsaw :rotfl2:

Everyone hates Duke. (except Duke, but who care about them)

We have a fat drunk guy league. But it is softball.
.

Did my share of those. Eventually, I just ended up drinking more than playing, so I just cut out the middle and stopped playing.
