Too many posts to catch up on...Happy Birthday...Mondays suck, lol...oh and I agree with Matt...this is going to be a long week as we head out in a few days to try to get Billy Dee Williams autograph...

And I officially hate packing, lol. But the end result makes it bearable.

Good afternoon gents! Need to get through a couple of days of month end close, and since we rocked budget should be easy, and then off to BLT / MK / Dis Cruise on Thursday.

Woot. DD lost her first tooth today!!!

Congrats on the first of many milestones and important events. Enjoy and remember them all as it can go by too fast - can ya tell we have one that is off to college in the fall

Some good parenting going on here.
I'll second that! Thought the same thing when I saw this one "Tink Vader" is what went through my mind :thumbsup2

Corey, forgot to wish you a happy birthday. Sounded like a good one.

Are you going to be near Paul (Stewarts dad)?

He lives Northeast of the UK part of the trip. So there won't be an international meet up.

As I've said before, I'm not a big NBA fan per se, but I do love my basketball. That said, Go Pacers! :thumbsup2

Go Pacers!!

I wonder how many calls LeFlop Shames will get tonight??

OK boys, don't get your hopes up. Pacers have given the Heat everything they wanted but I doubt that Bosh an Wade will play as badly as they did in the last game. (Don't tell anyone but some fans down here are a little worried.)

And Andy, there is plenty of flopping on the Indiana side.

Sounds like a pretty good deal but the convent for DD still looks a little more secure. :scratchin

I second that statement! There were a few boys trying to talk to DD this weekend at her hoop tournament. Had to buy her a new shirt to get her away from them. :rotfl2::lmao:

Heads up - WDW ticket prices go up tomorrow. Most interesting changes come to the 1-day ticket. They've introduced variable pricing, based on theme park. A 1-day ticket to the Magic Kingdom costs $5 more than a 1-day admission to any other theme park.

Bought mine. Saw that as well. Must be a lot of one day sales to MK gate. You know Disney World where the castle is.:lmao::lmao:

DW and oldest dd are doing dance dress rehearsals currently. Youngest dd has four performances and has to help with the younger kid show tomorrow. earlier in the year, DW was voted in as president-elect of city dance board of directors. No pay and not much perks, other than free tickets to some performances. So, this year, some of the board members, including her, agreed to do a kick-off dance for the private ticketed fundraising party tonight. I think it's a silent auction, but no way I can match what these people can bid on anything. But, we get free tickets, so I get to have a date with the president tonight. I spent this morning cleaning the house as best I could. I could get used to this stay at home dad stuff, but I know I worked harder this morning than I usually do all week.

Hope the dancing went well. Thankfully DD is done for the next few months. My wallet is starting to come out of hiding.

got this text today. she forgot she took this picture.
all the door knobs to the offices in casting are like this:

Did anyone say this was awesome! Didn't think so.

Thanks CJ. It was.

Over the weekend DW took the kiddos to the Disney Store to get some outfits for the trip. When DD walked in a CM came up to her and said, "Merida, we had no idea you were coming in today." She was them taken to the Merida collection. She got the Merida summer dress, tiara, scepter and night gown. along with the Rapunzel night gown. DS got a set of Jake PJs and a Cars swim suit. We've talked DD into picking two costumes if she'll also wear Merida. Her choices now are Merida and Ariel. I find that intriguing because those have been very low on her radar until now. Her favorites have always been Cinderella, Aurora and Rapunzel.

Maybe blonde is "out" and redheads are "in" ? Audrey wants to bring her Merida costume along, but that in the August heat would likely melt her.

Hey TWIN DAD....
Happy Birthday
and
May the Force be with you!

Happy Birthday Corey! I know it's late, but I was missing over the weekend.

Oh I forgot, as of last night the trip is paid for! WDW here we come!!!!!!!!!!!!

:cool1::cool1::cool1:

Our August trip is paid except for the rental car. No good deals right now, so am still searching.

Bachelor life is full of temptation. I need to get some groceries and the 5 gallon bucket of lard is a much better deal per pound than the 2.5 pound tub. :confused3 I suppose I should just be happy I get to buy and use lard for the next couple of months and go with the small tub. Don't want SWMBO knowing I am not using olive oil.

You mean you're cooking? All I would be doing is hiding the bacon and fast food wrappers.:lmao::lmao:

It was only a matter of time.

she said she was told the first month is the ruffest. also told me they got fresh meat today!!!! :lmao: movin up another rung on the corp. ladder.:lmao:
I asked her if any dads stopped to see her yet? :rotfl2:
she still hasn't bought anything yet from company D. she waiting for me so I can pay for it. :lmao: she knows I have no will power to say no when it comes to Disney stuff. :lmao:
I'm loving these updates. I need to sit down with my daughter and get her dreaming about this.

Just sitting on the porch with a nice partagas black label (cigar) and a couple of fingers of Makers letting the weekend wind down and getting ready for the Blackhawks game #2 vs the Kings tonight.

LETS GO HAWKS!

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Dominant effort tonight!
:thumbsup2 And the top two lines aren't even scoring! Now if only Toews could learn to fight...
The rest of the week will be spent implementing a new CRM tool at work. Trying to get a bunch of non-computer people to work with a new system after they've been used to an older system after 8 years.

Should be a blast! :rotfl2:

It'll be a week full of ID10T errors....I can see it now! :headache:
Something you learned at the conference last month I'm guessing..:confused3
Morning gentlemen.getting into my Disney mode today will be buying the rest of our park tickets for Aug.
I just dropped a small fortune on a bunch of 10-day non-expiring parkhoppers. My Disney account is running on fumes now, but I wanted to beat the price hike.
As I've said before, I'm not a big NBA fan per se, but I do love my basketball. That said, Go Pacers! :thumbsup2

I just wanted to wish you both good luck.. We're all counting on you.

Congrats on the milestone. DS almost finished with Invisaligns and DD on her way to braces soon.

Quick question. What kind of shoes does everyone wear? I have some old crocs that I wear all weekend and am about to replace them and wondered if these were the best bet for a full day in the park.

We usually buy a new pair of Keens a month or so before we go to break them in and wear them. Cool and dry quickly.

What the Beverly!? I just took the garbage and recycling out and it's cold enlightened that I can see my breath! Someone tell Mother Nature that the calendar says June.

Cool today, but was mid 90's all weekend here in the northeast.

Morning David and all the other dads!

Just a little over 4 days until we depart for the world, with the last few weeks I've had I'm ready to leave now. Friday cant come fast enough.

matt

Hey Matt

In case I miss your departure day.......Have a great time!

Morning guys,

Fun but rainy weekend in the Keys. While I still can't dive, DD and my Brit friend did and enjoyed themselves. First time she was under the sea since Hawaii. Headed over to the Brit's house a week from today. Can't wait.

Historical fact of today courtesy of the American History Museum.
Today in 1947: The Krispy Kreme Corporation formed, producing dry mixes used by the shops.

Glad it was a good weekend.

I have eaten one KK donut in my life. The sugar and fat content sent my gall bladder into shock and I had to have emergency surgery. Was in the hospital for 2 weeks and an 8 week recovery period. Thanks for the reminder nemie!

Morning Guys,

I am needing some strong coffee to get me going this morning after a long weekend of work. I'm feeling it may only get through to lunch and then it may be time to "work" from home for the rest of the day.

Sounds like you earned the afternoon off to me. Just let the boss know you have our permission.

Morning all...working from work this morning.

Hey Brent. Told the family about our August trip last night. Everyone is pretty excited. Finishing the ADR's this week now that all the requests are in. Working from work as well. But the good news is I get to drive 6 hours to Binghamton NY on Wednesday......Maybe that's not so good news.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

So I am guessing you had to pay the new prices? :headache:Hope it doesn't break the budget.

While I will be rooting for the Pacers, I cannot watch as the Bruins/Penguins game is on this evening. I have 2 solid reasons to be praying for a Heat loss. First and foremost, CJ is from Miami.:rotfl2::rotfl2: Second, I am tired of hearing Lebron's name.....period. Not that losing will stop everyone from saying it.

Good morning all. T-minus 11 or 12 days until we leave for the world. We normally do the drive down in 2 days but we are considering taking a more leisurely pace this time and leaving Friday the 14th after I get off work. Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in a couple meetups in our short time (3 nights) this trip. I'll post our plans in a bit to see if there are any overlaps.

Whoever decided to start this summer cold I'm not very happy to be sharing in it. Hope it doesn't last too long.

Hope the cold goes by quickly. Enjoy the trip. DD had a double ear infection from it last week. Seems to be better now.

You mean you're cooking? All I would be doing is hiding the bacon and fast food wrappers.:lmao::lmao:

I do most of the cooking. I was taught early on to take care of myself and don't even need a cookbook. When my wife asked my mother and grandmother for some of their recipes she just got one of these :confused3

But the good news is I get to drive 6 hours to Binghamton NY on Wednesday......Maybe that's not so good news.:rotfl2::rotfl2:...

There are worse places in the world. Drive west on I-86 until you hit Chautauqua Lake and you will drive over where our house was until NYS decided the "greater good" was more important. :furious:

Without a doubt. I just think its embarassing when the big stars who get most of the calls anyway do it. And that is coming from a Pacers fan! I hated it when Reggie would overplay the flop.

I just wanted to wish you both good luck.. We're all counting on you.

Thank you.

The first home study visit is in the books. I think it went failry well. DW is pretty anxious to get these kids home, so when the social worker asked when we wanted to schedule the second visit, my wife said "how about tomorrow?" She wasn't kidding. :rotfl2:

However, it will be towards the end of the month.

I am from Ohio, and around Cleveland. So any team that has He who shall only be mocked is only going to get mocked by me.

Of course I am not a huge basketball fan, so don't really care anyway. :)

well its been a few days. been busy with work and the house. digging in down spout drain lines, painting the garage, putting new shutters up and getting ready to paint the house. (its like we are getting ready to sell or something.:confused3)
well briana did pass her quiz, test what ever they called it. she worked on her own for the first time sunday in fantasy land. all went well. she can take her earning her ears off tag but she said she is going to keep in on a bit longer, people go a little easier on you when they see the tag.:lmao:
she is scheduled for 56 hours this week. Saturday she got pulled out into the move it shake it parade. I don't think shes coming home.:lmao:
we leave next Friday for 9 nights at wdw. looking forward to finding out what all these terms she uses. "fish bowl" we are thinking it maybe a break room or something? :lmao:
so that's it, shes no longer a new recruit. we have her schedule for about two weeks in advance if anyone is interested.
I should say the 56 hours includes about 5 hours of class room. they constantly do safe D meeting and other meetings with initials I have no idea what they mean. :lmao:
I like the stories she tells about how and what goes on after the park closes. a lot of people and work gets done. it never stops.
im sure ill post some pictures when we get down there, ill keep you posted if anything interesting happens.
thanks for following along and all your interest!!!!:thumbsup2
