Is there a certain "brand" of shoes that seem better for Disney's endless walking?

Happy Monday gentlemen!

I'm "working" from home today too Darcy...well except the "work" part. I'm just home. Today's my day off for the week.

The rest of the week will be spent implementing a new CRM tool at work. Trying to get a bunch of non-computer people to work with a new system after they've been used to an older system after 8 years.

Should be a blast! :rotfl2:

It'll be a week full of ID10T errors....I can see it now! :headache:

I'm in the office right now but I think there may be some "meetings" scheduled for the afternoon. I think it may get busy this afternoon.

I feel for you with the new system implementation; has the grumbling started yet?

Morning David and all the other dads!

Just a little over 4 days until we depart for the world, with the last few weeks I've had I'm ready to leave now. Friday cant come fast enough.

matt

Have a great trip :thumbsup2

Morning guys,

Fun but rainy weekend in the Keys. While I still can't dive, DD and my Brit friend did and enjoyed themselves. First time she was under the sea since Hawaii. Headed over to the Brit's house a week from today. Can't wait.

Are you going to be near Paul (Stewarts dad)?

I usually wear New Balance or Adidas. Both make good walking shoes.

I think it is whatever you are comfortable with. I have used mostly Addidas for most trips, other than a pair of sandals of some sort. DW wears Nike or Saucony for the most part.

Morning all...working from work this morning.

Woot. DD lost her first tooth today!!!

Congrats to DD! A milestone reached

Quick question. What kind of shoes does everyone wear? I have some old crocs that I wear all weekend and am about to replace them and wondered if these were the best bet for a full day in the park.

I pretty much stick to some sort of runner. I'm bring two pairs this year invade one gets soaked like last trip. Already breaking them in. This year trying some Sketchers Sport cross trainers, already broken in, and am trying a pair or New Balance walkers that I've started the breaking in process to. DW and the girls have had bad experiences with shoes in the past so we always bring multiple shoes with us just in case. I could never wear flip flops or open toed sandals, i need the feeling of secure shoes on my feet.

I'm in the Adidas boat myself. They've always fit me best. Although, I got an early birthday present from my parents. A pair of Keen Newport H2 sandals. I'm looking forward to breaking them in before heading to WDW. They fit extremely well right out of the box.

Rumblings...not really...they're not going to know what hit them. :lmao:

I have to give them a little credit, they've really grabbed a hold of the whole "tablet" revolution and are looking forward to the native app that the new CRM company provides.

Hey, I resemble that remark :rolleyes1

::yes:: :thumbsup2

Morning gentlemen.getting into my Disney mode today will be buying the rest of our park tickets for Aug.

Good morning.

Is it Friday yet? I haven't been at work for 2 hours yet and I can already tell this week is going to suck. The boss is on vacation though, so at least we don't have to deal with his crap. :lmao::rotfl2:

As I've said before, I'm not a big NBA fan per se, but I do love my basketball. That said, Go Pacers! :thumbsup2

A milestone, but be aware that the years will start passing more quickly now.

Quick question. What kind of shoes does everyone wear? I have some old crocs that I wear all weekend and am about to replace them and wondered if these were the best bet for a full day in the park.

I usually go with Reebok running shoe. Good support, light weight and dry quickly.

Happy Monday guys :cool1:

I feel like this week is ready to be rocked :cool2:

Happy Monday? Isn't that an oxymoron? I'm ready to stone this week already.

Jealous.

Morning Guys,

I am needing some strong coffee to get me going this morning after a long weekend of work. I'm feeling it may only get through to lunch and then it may be time to "work" from home for the rest of the day.

Happy Monday gentlemen!

I'm "working" from home today too Darcy...well except the "work" part. I'm just home. Today's my day off for the week.

I may be doing some of that myself. I can do powerpoints just as easily from my recliner as at my desk.

The rest of the week will be spent implementing a new CRM tool at work. Trying to get a bunch of non-computer people to work with a new system after they've been used to an older system after 8 years.

You would hate working with me. Technology and I don't get along at all.

Eh... I respect him. He plays hard. He's put the Heat on his back and carried them when they've needed him too. Yeah, he's flopped some this series, but the Pacers seem to be wanting to play that game too for some reason. :confused3

The one player I can't stand is the enchanted freaky bird.

Good morning all. T-minus 11 or 12 days until we leave for the world. We normally do the drive down in 2 days but we are considering taking a more leisurely pace this time and leaving Friday the 14th after I get off work. Hopefully I'll be able to squeeze in a couple meetups in our short time (3 nights) this trip. I'll post our plans in a bit to see if there are any overlaps.

Whoever decided to start this summer cold I'm not very happy to be sharing in it. Hope it doesn't last too long.

Go Pacers!!

Let me take a guess at this.....All of them. :lmao:

I've bought some Keen closed toe sandals for the trip. I'm also planning on getting a pair of Crocs. I've always sworn by Saucony's trail shoe and I'll probably get a pair of those too.
