Yeah man, I know, my bad...

You guys that are there 17-18 June, I'll be in Orlando those two days and lurking about...

Well, it would have been a good weekend if those signal flares had been answered...:headache:

Seriously, there's not much worse than being stuck at a wedding where you don't know a single person in the room.

well maybe being stuck at a wedding with some one you dont like and not knowing the rest could be worse:confused3

I am still confused as to why you would go to the wedding of someone you don't know. ;)

Seeking some input from Touring Plans users. We have a membership but have actually only ever utilized it for the crowd calendars for planning purposes. If you have done one of the touring plans, or better yet used a custom touring plan how did it work out? Were there predictions fairly accurate and if so did it make sense to you? I am thinking about trying it but don't want to be zig zagging all over the park or feel like I'm rushing through things.

It was my wife's distant cousin on her father's side. We hardly ever see that side of the family, but she wanted to go and put in an appearance. So I was just her driver, basically.

Maybe there was free bacon? :confused3

If only. They did have pigs in a blanket, so I had that going for me, which was nice.

I’ve been to many of those…
But I was always in the band, so mingling wasn’t a requirement.
We were just another part of the hired help and treated no better by the guests.

Good to know that you’ll have our Six.

All of the scenes with Mark ended up on the cutting room floor because Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson hated being overshadowed. True Story.

Driving Mrs. Knowitall? I think I've seen that movie.

I just ate lunch with trenner as he was on the way home from WDW.

I'm sure he'll post pics later, but I didn't have a camera!

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

Hey all. New in these parts, and getting ready to take my kids and wife down to WDW in June.

Also, a Disney Dad, and certainly an additional child for my wife to care for. :cool1:

So just wanted to say "Hi".

Welcome :cool1:

It is fun playing here.

Congrats CJ :thumbsup2

Weather guy said the rain would clear out by mid morning. Three showers have passed through since. Needless to say today was a washout. So, we had a Toy Story Marathon.

That's the beauty of personalized touring plans. You can start with one of their suggested plans, and then tweak to your heart's content. When you re-arrange, you hit the "Evaluate" button, and you can see what the change you made does to your wait times.

What I always say is that a touring plan should NEVER be about being rushed from thing-to-thing. Rather, a touring plan is a guideline to keep you from having to rush from one thing to another and keep you from wasting time unnecessarily in lines. You can skip a step on a touring plan at any time. Just figure that each 20 minutes you do something else is about one step on the touring plan. You can jump back on the plan wherever you wish.

well, its been a long week. I have a few updates in the pub. I know everyone is tired of the topic and we are glad she is over the hump and is starting to get into the groove of things. she starts tomorrow in the park, on the carts.
here are some pictures:...

Always like to see pictures of the offspring doing well.

Happy Tuesday guys :thumbsup2

I hope everyone had a good holiday weekend. We got a lot of stuff done, but in doing that stuff we just moved more crap out into the open. It's hard for DW to let stuff go. Our bake sale was a huge success. As we were cleaning up, folks just donated t he books and curriculum they did not sell to us to put in our garage sale in two weeks :cool1:

My garage looks like a library right now :rotfl2:

SWMBO was bad on collecting book before, now with homeschooling. :rolleyes2

Good morning gents, gotta like the 4 day work week for most of us. Trust all enjoyed and had a safe weekend with a few cold ones, some good food and good company. Graduation went well and DD looked great and seemed to just enjoy the journey being over and looking forward to college and the next phase of life. Blackhawks helped to make it a great weekend as well pulling even and forcing game 7 back in Chi-town....
...

Best wishes to your DD on the next step of her journey!

... Not sure how the pizza/milk combo will go, but I'm sure they is enough sugar, salt, and preservatives to make it taste good.
...

The fluid of choice for pizza cereal is made with fermented malt beverages.

Am I the only one who was entertained by the geographical spelling differences in the word "neighbor"? There has to be a Canadian joke in there....

It is the exchange rate. They can afford to buy more "u"s.

Welcome to the club!

Happy Memorial Day. Especially to all those that have served including their families.

Made it home yesterday without any issues. Nice vacation. The 24 hour thing was interesting but It took a while to recover. Can not imagine what the people that did the whole 24 felt afterward. Kidani is a great place to stay. Bit tired of the nonexistence of quick serve food options there though. You want to have a quick bite, you need to drive over to or get on the shuttle to Jambo. Good trip though.

Hope everyone is enjoying the holiday.
glad you had a good trip cj. hopefully we can meet up one day.:thumbsup2

Thanks guys. We had a blast celebrating DDs and my birthdays down at the world this past week. I'll start a TR later but now I'm beat.

Never tired of a proud papa. Besides we spent 4 hours or so of our 19 hours of driving discussing the college program for our girls and the still have a minimum of 9 years before they are eligible. It was nice to meet you and Briana, Dave.

Glad you made it back home CJ. We arrived this afternoon to 57 degrees and cloudy / rain. I know your jealous. ;)

Great to see you again and meet Adriana.
it was great meeting up with you and your family also brian. funny part about the cp program, we never gave it a thought. we figured briana would never go that far away from home. we were shocked as well. :lmao:
Jungle Cruise just needs to hold off two days, I'll be at MK on the 20th, then they can knock themselves out
if its closed, just gives you a reason to have to go back brent.:thumbsup2
Yeah man, I know, my bad...

oh great. :rolleyes2 :lmao: yes!!!!

let see, they have parking, handicap parking, vip parking, do they have spinner parking spots? :rotfl2:

Lawd I hate coming to work after a nice long break...

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I understand that there was a missed extraction beacon on behalf of a Dad this weekend...sorry man, I was on Stand Down this weekend:rotfl2:

Ended up fishing right in the area where they were looking for two missing boaters (from separate incidents....alcohol + boats = bad ju ju). Of course, I didn't know that at the time, or I would never have had my five year old anywhere near the joint.

We were out there early morning before the recovery/dive boats had enough visibility to "do their thing".

Some people don't realize how quickly a boat can kill ya.....:(

I live right at the "Mouth of The Credit" where it runs into Lake Ontario. I cringe everytime I see the Recovery Team truck. Especially in the winter.

I missed new FantasyLand re-opening by a few days last year. It's been a long year to wait.
Especially with a usual two year wait between trips. I do want to do another back-to-back year trip so that I don't have to stress about paying for a trip on a contract year. :scared1:
