I just ate lunch with trenner as he was on the way home from WDW.

I'm sure he'll post pics later, but I didn't have a camera!

Suuuuuure. You didn't have a camera. But those three surveillance drones that just happen to be circling the restaurant were only collecting weather data, right?

Hey all. New in these parts, and getting ready to take my kids and wife down to WDW in June.

Also, a Disney Dad, and certainly an additional child for my wife to care for. :cool1:

So just wanted to say "Hi".

Welcome. Dues are payable in dole whips, bacon, beer, or cake. It's a ponzi scheme like no others - you mail 740 to me and I will distribute them. :lmao:

Where are you going in June? How long are you staying?

We are going with my sister, her family, and my mother. So there is 10 of us total in the group. We rented a house off site. And the days of our visit are June 15 - June 22nd.

This is the first trip for my 3 girls, and is only my wife's second trip. Her first trip there was our honeymoon.

So thanks for the warm welcome, and any suggestions feel free to send them to me. :)

Plus Bacon is always a good bribe right?

Quite the grand gathering. A first trip with three young ladies will be quite the adventure

We will also be at WDW on those same dates, as will a couple of other dads in the group. Very much looking forward to returning to the parks (as it may be our last chance for a while).

Rope Drop is a must.
Get there early if you can (and always go to the left  ).

After that… given the size of the group, flexibility will be a necessity. Splitting up from time to time may also be a good idea. There’s no way to see everything in one trip so know your must-do-s and seek those out fairly early.

It’s our national currency

Animal House - a great movie - fortunately, we don't have those initiation practices here.

DW and I honeymooned at WDW 13 years ago and we now have 2 dds (11,8). We have always stayed on property and are now DVC members. Never been with a large group before, but a few have. The best advice I can give you is to have a plan and include some break times as well - it may be hot.

Are you doing a park everyday? Are you doing park hoppers? ADRs booked or just eating QS? Also, with a group that big, are you all staying together the whole time or splitting up to reunite for meals?

Hope everyone had a great weekend. I understand that there was a missed extraction beacon on behalf of a Dad this weekend...sorry man, I was on Stand Down this weekend:rotfl2:

Well, it would have been a good weekend if those signal flares had been answered...:headache:

Seriously, there's not much worse than being stuck at a wedding where you don't know a single person in the room.
