Friend of mine. I'll let him share his qualifications, but trust me, the Disney is strong with this one.
You know, if he's thinking about joining the Disdads, he might not necessarily want us to know he's your friend.

Or that he even knows you.

Thanks for all the welcome messages! Haven't been on much in the last couple days.

For those who asked we will be down 8/21-8/28 for our annual Beach Club Bash.

Now let me drown my Bruins sorrows in a bowl of Frosted Flakes!

Good morning guys. I hope everyone is well. We had our company year end party last night and I took my FIL since the ladies and girls were having a pampering/manicure party.

It was a good time other than the small monsoon that hit as we were walking to the entrance. It was funny watching the smokers make a run for it though :)

Morning....

Everything looks to be cooler but hopefully drier today. Think we still might be plenty busy though, with a strike looming, people are starting to get in a stockpile mindset. :sad2:

If there is a plus, I'm going to miss most of my neice's birthday party today, I'm only going to get the tail end of it, it's a Chuck-E-Cheese :headache:

Have a good weekend dads

My nemesis is not a hockey fan at all. I texted him and told him to watch the game, he was fumbling around for 15 minutes trying to find the channel, the second he turned it on... Boston scored!!!!!

Curse you nemesis!!!!!

Brian, it would be ok if you let Scott post again...

It sure seems like there has been a lot of rain this year and cooler temperatures here. You can keep all that rain up in Indy.

That is a great upside. Who thought of such a tortuous place like Chuck E Cheese? They'll have some explaining to do. Prayers for the work stuff - I hope it gets settled quickly.

:wave2: Hi Randall!

Hey Guys...I've been away too long!

Just checking in.

Going back to work for a day after being gone for 4 sucks....lots of catch up...no time for the boards!

So some of you know that I was in Orlando for 4 days for a "conference". Well, I made sure I snuck in some WDW time.

I'm happy to report that WDW is still there...and in one piece. Well kinda. The Main St. Bakery is still going through it's transition, the skim is still up over that section of the emporium next to Casey's.

Progress on the Snow White Mine Train Coaster is coming along quite nicely! They still have the Tea Cups closed for refurb as well.

We had a good dinner at Kona Cafe (the bread is outstanding with the honey macadamia nut butter). We had an amazing experience at Sanaa. The food and the view was amazing. I was thankful to be able to Facetime from the walkout path with my kids to show them all of the wildlife.

We also had a great time at Raglan Road. The live entertainment that is provided at the restaurant gives it that little bit extra even if the food is just OK. I was also amazed on just how much live entertainment the whole Downtown Disney property had for a Wednesday night. It was quite busy considering the resort level was only supposed to be a 4 or 5!

Overall, I think I not only freaked out my co-worker by my knowledge/obsession of Disney, but also made her realize it'd be a cool thing to bring her family there to experience it!

It was a great little teaser before my trip in 5 weeks!

Rough Saturday already. DD was up in the middle of the night with an ear infection. Now we need to decide whether to visit the local quack who thinks everything is a respiratory infection that needs a vitamin shot, travel to the urgent care in the big city, or send SWMBO and her back north to our home doctors for a visit on Monday. No good options.

Still better than going to Chuck E Cheese though.:rotfl2:

LOL!! We did my DS 6th birthday party there last year. I swear I will never do that again!

Hope the DD gets feeling better...and diagnosed/medicated correctly!
My vasectomy was more fun than going to Chuck E. Cheese!

Morning guys. Soccer for DD today. Should be fun!

Hope everyone has a good day. :thumbsup2

Good luck to her. Soccer here today as well. It is really wet outside. Should make for an unpredictable day.

Thanks for the trip report. I don't ever get conferences in Orlando.

Same here. The pediatrician used to prescribe an antibiotic, now because the news reports overly prescribed, they won't do it. Even when a dd has a fever and all the symptoms. And, we take them for their annual checkup and the occasional once or twice when they are sick. It shouldn't be that difficult. Hope she gets the right treatment.

My vasectomy was more fun than going to Chuck E. Cheese!

Was it self-performed with a pocket knife on a weekend trip to Toys R Us?

Let the BS begin! Apparently a co-worker saw in the news this morning that the LCBO is urging customers to stock up incase. This means one of two things... One, things are that bad and it'll happen, or Two, its just a stupid ploy to get sales up ( not that they are ever down). Either way, this is total BS.

Good morning gentlemen,

After our WDW trip last month, the DW & I have become completely nuts about WDW! We did a 4 day/3 night at CBR w/ MYW plus Dining. I like the pre-paid dining....one less thing to have to deal with/save for from the time ressies are made until getting there. Although we'd love to be there everyday, we've decided it to be best to pay off some debt over the next year so perhaps we can make it down a couple times a year after this. We are definitely going to back down over Spring Break 2014 (3/31-4/4), but flip-flopping on where to stay. I think it'll be possible (depending on tax refund) to stay at BC, which appears to be the good location for easily getting to mutiple parks, pools, etc.. Recently, I stumbled onto the DVC board here & saw where people had their property available to rent. Have any of you guys:

A) Stayed at BC?
B) Used a DVC by renting from someone, and if so was it cheaper than renting directly thru WDW Travel?
C) Since I am relatively new to the WDW lifestyle (yes, it is a lifestyle!), can you buy the dining plan with park tickets, or do you have to book a room thru WDW travel to get the dining plans?

Thanks, & any advice appreciated!
Tony
