Friday afternoon ownage.

2.5 hrs of work is plenty for me. I'm off to the movies!! I wonder if they'll use the old John Williams theme at all...

DW wants to see the new movie. Maybe we'll get there this weekend.

Just booked our next trip to WDW. Renting some points and staying at BWV. Super excited.

You can get a disc cleaner at Walmart or target for about 10.00 they have little bristles on the bottom that sweep dirt and debris off the lens, if that didn't work I would suggest opening it up and checking all the wire connections, or as someone else said a free loaner is great deal

Watched Star Trek and Man of Steel today. Both were good but I'd say that Star Trek was a little better. No John Williams music. Oh- if you think New York got messed up in Avengers, wait til you see what happens to Metropolis! There were a few things I saw that pointed to the rest of the DC Universe, but not much. All in all a good day.

Oh- and don't bother waiting til the end of the credits to see something like in the Marvel movies. There's nothing there.

Ready for a great weekend. Wife and kids are gone all weekend. I have about half a day yard work, then just me some cold beers and the remote control. Right now I am basking in what a quiet house sounds like.

Got the grass cut already, re-hung the kids' towel bar they pulled off the wall, and started the laundry. I need to go to the liquor store as I am out of beer and bourbon. Thankfully, the rum IS NOT gone this time,

He's been doing this now for like a year now, doesn't really bother him at all. He gets the bottle attatched Friday afternoon, it gets taken off late Sunday Morning, every other week, barring ant blood tests that change things. Chemo's never really bothered him too much in this time other then comming home to do it when he'd rather be chilling up north.

I stuck with it for a long time. Then it seemed like the writing just got lazy earlier this year and it reminded me of Lost during the bad seasons.

Back home from Man of Steel. Really enjoyed the new Superman movie. All of the powers thing stays consistent, and all the players are the same, with an interesting spin on how Clark joins the Daily Planet. Great story line and special effects.

They are doing a spin off series this fall called Once Upon A Time in Wonderland.
