Evening Guys,
all packed and ready to head back to Orlando early in the morning.
Coached DS in his first volleyball game today. We lost 3-2 but the other team was using a rule modification that allowed them to use a catch on the second contact. I was impressed with DS's play, he had 3 blocks and a couple of kills during the match. I guess watching me run practices for years rubbed off on him a bit. It also helps that he is 5'9" in grade 6.

Congrats on a successful first game for Declan! Rule modification? Sounds like cheating to me.![]()
Just saw the Magic Kingdom was at Phase 3 closure (only admitting Annual Passholders, Disney Resort Guests, and people with ADRs). Checked the My Disney Experience App for wait times:
Big Thunder 70 mins
Buzz Lightyear 95 mins
Dumbo 105 mins
Enchanted Tales with Belle 80 mins
Haunted Mansion 90 mins
Small World 70 mins
Jungle Cruise 65 mins
Tea Cups 35 mins
Peter Pan 95 mins
Space Mtn 120 mins
Barnstormer 80 mins
Under the Sea 70 mins
Carousel of Progress 5 mins. <-no, that's not a typo. It's a FIVE MINUTE WAIT for Carousel of Progress
Kind of glad to be sitting at my desk wishing I was at Disney World instead of actually at Disney World right now.
Peanut Butter. Beverly. Beverly. Peanut Butter.
And a whole bunch of stuff I can't say without being banned.
Water in garage...
Two hydrogen and an oxygen.
And I thought my BIL was the only man to EVER get pulled over in a minivan!Hey guys, this may be off topic, but just a quick heads up.
If you, or anyone you know, is driving down to Disney for a Spring Break.
The Florida Highway Patrol is currently running a "Zero Tolerance" operation on I 95, I 75, I 4 and the Turnpike.
Seriously, they are not playing. They "might" give you ten over....they "might" not.
On the way to work this morning I was passed by Three Minivans (yes, Barry, I said minivans). One from Connecticut, one from New Jersey and one from Maryland. All of them moving over 80 mph (I admit I was shocked and had to double check my speed to make sure I was seeing what I was seeing)
The reason I was "passed" by them is that they were headed into what is locally known as a "Florida Highway Patrol Nesting Area". I had sense to slow down and not rile them up---no need to kick the fireant bed.
Sure enough, all three of them were pulled over about two miles up the road.
I tried to warn them, but if an unmarked Charger with blacked out windows and multiple LEDs can't slow you down---a trooper will happily oblige "up the road".
Fair warning.
I hate the Bdays where the women fret. And MY DW wants to treat her Bday like she's an 8 year old girl. So there is the perpetual battle over the celebration and the depression!Morning all
Only half a day of suffering ahead of me; the afternoon will be spent away from work. DW is celebrating a birthday today so thats a good thing, but
Its one of those that ends in a zero, aaaaaaannnnnnd thats a bad thing.
A lot of extra spoiling in on the agenda.
Oh, and we officially booked a late June trip back to The World
So that is helping with the birthday blues.
(now I just need to go ahead and add a ticker back into my sig for the first time in a long while)
In the mean time, lets see if I can catch up a bit
(as opposed to actually working that is)
AKA additional opportunity to show my ineptitude.just wanted to pass this along

We have been there a few time unintentionally. They do a really nice job with it. The flora built to be Disney characters are super cool.Has anyone been to the Flower and Garden show at EPCOT? Thinking of heading over later this week but I need to convince FIL to go. He does like to garden so I have that to build on.
And the accompanied vertigo and nausea. The Teacups is a yearly battle for me.Well of course. It takes 5 minutes for the next empty theater to revolve around.![]()
The one that got my attention was the Teacups. 35 minutes for a 35 second ride. No thanks.
Weasels in the world!Panda's in Paradise?
I commonly refer to my DW as "the other boss." My DDs tell me I'm the boss when mom's not home.Evening all
Had a fine afternoon with the Lady of the House (or is that Master of the House?)
Awesome! Hope you have a blast My friends drove their RV down from Pittsburgh and stayed at Fort Wilderness and LOVED it. They stayed at POL last time and wished they had stayed at Fort Wilderness!Hello guys, I know that it has been a long time. I have lerked now and then and have enjoyed reading but have not checked in. Out family is returning to WDW again this year although we were not supposed to. Just can't miss it. We r doing a first and bringing our new (to us) camper down and staying on sight. We have driven down many times but not combined our love for camping with WDW.
We leave the second the kids are out of school on the 12th. We told the kids by calibrating DALMATIAN DAY.

Matt
Good morning fellow dads, hope all is well, DD has been doing great lately, I know this will sound bad but I think she has finally come to terms about her mom not being around. Last week she Skyped with her older sister, aunt and grandmother who live in GA and normally she would be sad after they were done and misbehave the next day but this time she was very happy and sweet, and didn't ask me questions about her mom. It's hard not to have mixed feelings about it but overall she is happy and healthy and looking forward to our Hollywood FL beach trip at the end of April. So close to WDW yet so far
Also will be on this weekends DisDad podcast with Aaron and my Nemi Nate, looking forward to it

Hump Day Ownage!
Hey Philip,Glad to hear DD is adjusting and doing well. Just keep remembering it's all about the kids and making sure they are well.
My wife's uncle lives in Hollywood, FL so we have been there a few times. About 4.5 hours from the World. It's been hot and sunny according to them. I'll try to listen in on the podcast. Have fun!
Glad to hear she is adjusting well.
