Hey CJ, How the weather down there? It's a balmy 42 degrees and cloudy here today. How far time was are you from Disney? I know Miami is quite a drive from what I am told.

Congrats on the SW score. Nice.

The next three days (H-L) 66-54, 65-52, 63-45. Overcast today but should be clearing the beginning of the week. It is actually nice to have a little chill in the air. Of course all you Yankees and Canucks would be swimming in this weather. The Pirate flies in tomorrow and is PO'ed over the temps.

The drive to WDW is a little over 4 hours from the house. Depending on breaks and the traffic getting out of S. Florida.

We only fly SW now. Been using them for 6 years now and have always had good service. 2 hours non-stop also helps :goodvibes

We flew Southwest on the way down last weekend. Only Southwest and Delta fly direct from RDU to MCO. While going through the security announcements the flight attendant said " The fine for smoking in the lavatory is $2000 and we all know if you had an extra $2000 you'd be flying delta."

Well played southwest lady, well played.

I love the irreverence of SW attendants.

The best I heard though was a pilot for our Delta flight to Roatan. He is giving all the info, altitude, cruising speed, etc. He ends by saying, "Our flight will be 3 hours 15 minutes. We have enough fuel for 5 hours of flying time, so if we are in the air more than 5 hours, smoke em if you got em. All right, lets put some lipstick on this pig and fly it like we stole it." Great mood starter for a week of playtime.

:rotfl2::rotfl2: There's always at least a couple of good jokes from the SW crew. Love that they allow the employees to have some fun. I don't remember what he said, but the pilot was cracking a few jokes last time that had us laughing for a good 10 minutes.

Yup, low dosage every evening. I guess it can't hurt. All of my numbers have been right where they want them every test. My pulse and BP have always been excellent. I credit that to being active and my Scottish heritage. Sturdy types we are.

And the high whiskey content of Scottish blood keeps it thin.

If only we had a place to check when other Dads will be in the World... :rolleyes1

What is this strange place to check dates you speak of?

Hi dads!

And here's my makeshift office, proof that I'm working (okay, trying to work!):

Must be hard to concentrate with Woody saying "there's a printer in my lap" all day.

Love the attendents on southwest they are allowed to get away with so much more than the other airlines.

Whoo Hoo I broke the 6 month barrier on my count down. Its all down hill till August.

Weren't you just on the other thread.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

As it gets closer, we'll have to set a time/place to meet and say hi. We overlap a few days.

When are they going to get the search engine going again:confused3, it's gotta be the penguins trying to take over, remember the things they did in the Madagascar movies:scared1::rolleyes1

Yup. for our flight they mentioned "..a gentlemen had just turned a 100 years old, etc. Please wish the pilot a happy birthday."
:rotfl:

Only 2 weeks to go until Busch Gardens, Williamsburg, has their pass member preview day! Can't wait! :cool1: Oh... it also happens to be on my birthday this year! :thumbsup2

Evening Gents.

Bags are packed, all checked in for the flight and we are just about set to go. Some small things to take care of, some dinner, a nap and waiting for our house sitter to show up is all we have left. We should be in the road in a few hours.

:cool1::cool1:

Anyone remember the health crap I had during race weekend? No? Well it was a heapin' helping of pain and nausea. After oodles and oodles of $$ and drugs, no real improvement. So next week they're gonna stick a camera down my gullet and go snoopin' around. On the upside, I get to try propofol, so I've got that going for me. Can't wait. At least it's the north end and not the south end.

So... looking at WDW crowd calendars and I notice that UT and TP have conflicting information for a few days of our April trip. Which crowd calendar would you put more stock into?

Personally, I only use these as a guide when we go. Crowd levels at the end of April (during the week) are pretty low anyway, so any park is avaliable for my scheduling. I was just curious if anyone has seen one crowd calendar more accurate then another.

Touring plans has always treated us right. They seem to have been doing it the longest and the best. I agree with someone else who posted that as the trip draws nearer, the crowd projections creep up.

Like others here, I'm thinking that TP is a bit more accurate, but when I see that the two directly conflict with each other I just look at the rest of the planned days and make a decision based on what park we don't have a plan for.

I'm really jealous of those of you who get to fly Southwest and hear the entertaining announcements that they sometimes make. USAirways isn't any fun at all... :sad1:

Wow... that's STILL going on?? Praying they find the cause quickly!

I lean towards TP, too. Maybe I'll make it a part of my trip this time and see who was better? :scratchin

We had the pleasure of hearing the crew sing zip-a-dee-doo-dah when landing at MCO one time. They were pretty good! Sorry you have to be a ll bored and stuff! My SIL works for USAir :rolleyes2

Where are these delectable treats from?

Doesn't look like anyone answered you...

Those are from Mad Millies - Nick (DisneyDaddy-O) owns the restaurant, and occasionally likes to come here and taunt us with his hand made fresh grub.

The best I heard from the pilot was if you all will look outside the left window, we'll flip upside down.

Sorry to hear it's still causing problems. Prayers they find a dx and treatment.

Watched Godzilla with the family tonight. It was the most recent with Matthew Broderick. When Jean Reno threw the cable out the window, my oldest said, "he's the French Indiana Jones".

One thing you have to remember though is that there are only so many pro skaters and they have to try and keep the troop small, which is why so many of them actually skate several different roles. While it may be disappointing, it is what it is.

And it is good for the performers to have the job.

No, they were telling me of this one customer who keeps his bar VERY well stocked, would never do that. Like I said, there is some serious money players here. :crazy2:

We know better. I've seen so many order top shelf liquor and mix it. Sad.

Morning guys. Funny how that keeps happening every day. Here is hoping everyone's day is a winner.

I'm sure that is better than the alternative.
