Looks like a good plan. How difficult was it to get BOG? Our ADR window opens in a month.
:

I called today at the 180 day mark. I couldn't get the +10 to work on computer system. I called thru DVC right when they first opened and got the exact day I wanted. I would have preferred a 50 minute earlier reservation, but I got the day and almost time I wanted. It also may depend on when you are going. October 6 isn't a peak crowd day.

Cool. We're going the first week in Nov, so it will be a bit busier, but not too bad. Going to try and get the reservation for the whole group I'm with though, so that should make it challenging!

Been off the Boards for a few days. I'm into week 2 of our "Crazy 2 weeks" which consists of swimming lessons for 2 consecutive weeks accompanied by my oldest DD's First Holy Communion, Religious Education classes and a dry run on Thursday for her First Holy Communion.
On top of that, I wrecked my car last Thursday. No injuries other then the car! Oh, and filing our taxes. yeah, how could I forget that one!
And I took a new job...with the same company,,,but nonetheless, a new job.

Hope everyone is doing well. Gonna try and cycle through the board to see what I missed!

That was a crazy 2 weeks. Happy to hear your ok, sorry about the car.

Sunday ownage.

A nice relaxing day - cut my hair and fingernails and laundry from my pseudo staycation - until technology day. As DW is going to DC with oldest next week, and asked me to upload/ backup pictures from phone. I asked her when the last time she backed them up. She didn't know. Answer - November 2011. Grrrr....:furious:

There was over 1 GB of pictures and video I had to upload and sort. Now, drinking a smoothie and watching the Lakers at Clippers until Mass tonight.
Yup. Asked my wife about her iCloud account and I got the deer in headlights look.

Mornin' Guys!

I had an enjoyable weekend with the family. One that we actually didn't have any major plans for once!

Got outside and did some landscaping clean-up yesterday.

We spent last night watching some old videos of DD5. I ran across a video of her singing "Once upon a dream" when she was 2. It's the cutest thing!

Have a great Monday guys!
Love those. We came across a similar one of our youngest climbing in the dog's crate and the toy box.

Unable to book ADRs on computer as Barry hasn't fixed their website yet. Waiting to call in and try to get BoG and CRT.
I plan on being on the phone bright and early at the 180 day mark.
So this Monday just got better.

$800 repair needed on our Cherokee. The bonus is the warranty expired 3 weeks ago.
Vehicle expenses always suck. Hope if works out for you. I'll be shelling out $500 for my deductible in about 2 weeks. Last payment on the lease is this month, too.:sad2:

Monday morning planning ownage. The plan is almost set for the October trip. We have a 1 BR at OKW, arriving Oct 5. I will use the online system for the other two ADRs.

Sat - Resort, Olivia's breakfast, Mass, EoS dinner
Sun - MNSSHP, 6:50 PM BoG
Mon - Resort, Fulton's Crab House dinner
Tues - MK, 10:20 AM CRT
Wed - Resort, WHW, ESPN Club late lunch
Thurs - Epcot - F&W
Fri - WPE lunch & depart

I may try to move BoG time a little earlier, but I like the plan. Now, only 29 more days until I can book BWV for Spring Break 2014.
I can book starting next Monday. Bummer that we're going to miss each other by about a day.

Like most of you, too many to list but here is a snapshot of my Disney resume:

You planned your next Disney trip the day after returning from Disney World.
Your eyes start to water with tears of joy when you see your kids having a great time at WDW
You have friends and family that do not understand why you vacation in WDW every year (or at least talk about doing it).
You have Disney songs on your MP3 player.
You have Disney Ringtones for your cell phone.
You have everything Disney for wallpapers and screensavers.
You have Disney Fonts and Icons as well.
You drink your coffee from one of your multiple Disney mugs
You wear a matching Disney shirt with your kids to the parks.
Love Sports
Love Beer
Love all things Disney

Simply put...there is no place you would rather go on vacation than at WDW, Disneyland, or on a Disney Cruise

Thanks & looking forward to getting number and joining the group :goofy:
Very cool...welcome.

Hello guys....been off the boards last couple of days...prayers and thoughts to those that need it. Might try and catch up tomorrow or so, hope everyone is doing good though.

Still too early to tell. Based on old wivestales the heartrate would indicate that it's another girl. Based on the chinese birthing chart it should be a boy.

I think it's still another 8 weeks or so before we can find that out. On the first 2 we didn't find out. I think DW is leaning towards finding out this time in case it's a boy she can toss out all the pink baby clothes.

Edit: I forgot to add. Based on my heartrate at the thought of another girl you all should start buying stock in MillerCoors and Jameson's!
Congratulations.

I'm tired just reading that. :scared1:

Does that mean you get a raise?

Cross-posting. Anyone know anything about transmissions? The SUV, auto transmission has a slight hesitation shifting out of first, and then it feels like the the bottom of the car is falling out when it shifts again. Happens at high and low speed, and low/consistent acceleration. Any advice would be helpful?

Not sure which car it is but I am going to guess you have around 100K - 120K miles on a GM transmission and this has been getting worse for about 2 months?
First check the fluid, you need to have it in neutral with the engine running to get an accurate read. (block the wheels or we will have other problems to fix)
If you are low, adding fluid will make the symptoms better but not fix the problem. Best case on a leak is the transmission pan gasket. It is about $6 worth of parts to fix but its $150 if you take it in because it is a pain to get to.
If the fluid is fine there are a lot of ways it could go. Has your check engine light come in lately? Let me know what kind of car it is adn if the fluid is ok.

Oh and here is you Claven answer.

"You know Norm if your car is hard shifting then you should just let the car do the work."

Good game, and thank goodness Michigan didn't win. I preserved first place in my work bracket since UL won. It's about time I got assistance from a Kentucky school :rotfl2:

Morning guys. Prayers appreciated, I have a customer who is on the war path and wants my head on a platter. She is making my life an absolute he-double hockey stick right now.

Her company does hardly anything with us, yet she causes more tension than my largest customers. All customers are important, but I wish I could drop them. :confused3

Good Morning Men!

Remember I'm still looking for a Rum Dole Whip with Bacon.

We have talked about a lot of things here in the clubhouse, but this has never come up.
Looks like we will be flying down to WDW for our Nov trip, and it will be during dinner time. In the pass DW and I would bring something to eat on the plane, on one flight we took PBJ's, it was a peanut free flight. (SW doesn't serve meals.) I remember CJ telling us about a flight from Hades where someone was eating a stinky sandwich.

So, my question to you is, what would make a sky friendly meal?

It wasn't so much the cost but the fact that the warranty had only been expired for 3 weeks and it was caused by a slow leak in the water pump. It has also put a serious doubt in the July WDW trip we are looking at. The repair would have paid for our plane tickets down.

Not sure which is worse..us requesting photos, you posting the link or how quickly I clicked on said link when I saw it posted.
:lmao::rotfl::lmao::rotfl:

:rotfl2: I was hesitant but Randall was pretty persistant.

Hope it all works out David, we get the same thing here. The smallest groups cause the biggest headaches.

Sorry, David. I know that feeling well. Don't let her steal your joy. As with all things, this too shall pass.
