Good afternoon guys. It was a busy weekend. Had 2 birthday parties for DD and I ran a race yesterday. I went to bed earlier last night than I have in a long time. Went and met DW and her ultrasound appointment this morning and got to see the next family addition for the first time. Made for a good start to my week.

Like most of you, too many to list but here is a snapshot of my Disney resume:

You planned your next Disney trip the day after returning from Disney World.
Your eyes start to water with tears of joy when you see your kids having a great time at WDW
You have friends and family that do not understand why you vacation in WDW every year (or at least talk about doing it).
You have Disney songs on your MP3 player.
You have Disney Ringtones for your cell phone.
You have everything Disney for wallpapers and screensavers.
You have Disney Fonts and Icons as well.
You drink your coffee from one of your multiple Disney mugs
You wear a matching Disney shirt with your kids to the parks.

Stayed at 15 different Disney Hotels – 16th BLT this coming June
Sailed 7 times on DCL with 8th coming up in June to complete the grand slam
Simply put...there is no place you would rather go on vacation than at WDW, Disneyland, or on a Disney Cruise

Thanks & looking forward to getting number and joining the group :goofy:

Welcome. Dues are payable in Dole Whips, bacon, beer, or cake. Just mail them to me and I will distribute. Feel free to post on whatever off-topic discussion we are having at the moment, or tell us more about any planned trips. Saw that you are a DVC Member - which resort? I am at BWV and BLT.

My bad, first name is Mike. Family originally from Chicago area but now live in Nashville TN area for past 13 years. DD going off to college in the fall and DS getting close to 16 abd driving. DS is even a bigger all things Disnet fan if that is possible - DW tells me I created a monster. DS and I are also big SW fans so when D purchased Lucas Films it was definitely a happy day.

Just got back from first DLR trip over Spring Break and family really loved it. Heading on a DCL 7 night western cruise June 8 which will complete sailing on all four ships. Gonna do a day at MK before cruise sails to take in new fantasy land.
I'm right there with you.

Think you just made some Dads jealous, Mike! :lmao:

Congrats on the race and surviving two birthday parties. Do you know if the next offspring is a girl or boy yet?

Still too early to tell. Based on old wivestales the heartrate would indicate that it's another girl. Based on the chinese birthing chart it should be a boy.

I think it's still another 8 weeks or so before we can find that out. On the first 2 we didn't find out. I think DW is leaning towards finding out this time in case it's a boy she can toss out all the pink baby clothes.

Edit: I forgot to add. Based on my heartrate at the thought of another girl you all should start buying stock in MillerCoors and Jameson's!

Cross posting to see what kind of conversation I can get....

So what's you top or must take tech and gadgets when in the parks? And for you fellow smartphone uses what's you top apps for in the parks?

For me it's my smartphone, extra batteries, pocket camera, and pocket knife (yeah it low tech but no dad should ever be with out a knife - when possible)

Another Monday ownage (for everyone using the App).

I kinda figured it was too early, but it has been almost 9 years since our last one, so wasn't sure about new medical technologies.

I have a Windows phone, so all the apps stink for it. I'm not sure I'll be able to use a mobile in park app for FP+. Maybe I can do something in the morning with my iPad, but I'm not lugging it thru the parks. I just carried my phone last trip and it was great. I also have one of those basic Nikon digital cameras which takes much better pictures.

Iphone with Mobile Magic and Touring Plans apps. Camera with extra batteries. And a Britta bottle with filter, works great.

Cross-posting. Anyone know anything about transmissions? The SUV, auto transmission has a slight hesitation shifting out of first, and then it feels like the the bottom of the car is falling out when it shifts again. Happens at high and low speed, and low/consistent acceleration. Any advice would be helpful?

Evening guys.

How have you guys been? Been busy here on call this weekend and awaiting work to head back for a patient that is being transferred in to us. I just keep telling myself that this time next weekend I will be raiding space mountain!!!

Sounds fun! Can I raid it with you? :confused3

JK- Jealous, have a blast! :cool1:

So this Monday just got better.

$800 repair needed on our Cherokee. The bonus is the warranty expired 3 weeks ago.

Ugh, sorry to hear that. Hope it gets better.

Monday morning planning ownage. The plan is almost set for the October trip. We have a 1 BR at OKW, arriving Oct 5. I will use the online system for the other two ADRs.

Sat - Resort, Olivia's breakfast, Mass, EoS dinner
Sun - MNSSHP, 6:50 PM BoG
Mon - Resort, Fulton's Crab House dinner
Tues - MK, 10:20 AM CRT
Wed - Resort, WHW, ESPN Club late lunch
Thurs - Epcot - F&W
Fri - WPE lunch & depart

I may try to move BoG time a little earlier, but I like the plan. Now, only 29 more days until I can book BWV for Spring Break 2014.

Looks like a good plan. How difficult was it to get BOG? Our ADR window opens in a month.

Mornin' Guys!

I had an enjoyable weekend with the family. One that we actually didn't have any major plans for once!

Got outside and did some landscaping clean-up yesterday.

We spent last night watching some old videos of DD5. I ran across a video of her singing "Once upon a dream" when she was 2. It's the cutest thing!

Have a great Monday guys!

:thumbsup2
