To those of you that have AP's were you given a plastic case for them? When my buddy bought his this weekend they said the cases will be in towards the end of this month.

Nope. Lost mine sometime on Saturday so I had to go to Guest Relations on Sunday morning to get it replaced. I was hoping for a harder plastic one or one with RFID, but just got a standard paper ticket. No mention of a case.

We were standing on the platform at the Poly on Saturday night and the attendant just came right up to the kids and handed them each one. Told us to ask all of the drivers, captains, etc.

The boat captain at the Poly on one of our trips gave my dds a pink pirate bracelet and pirate bandana. It was cool.

Got my 2nd run of the week in this morning, but ended up sitting in traffic most of the way to work. 8( 2.5 miles in 35 minutes run/walk. Trying hard to get back at it!

Congrats. That is 2.5 miles more than I ran this week.

Jim, will you be at the game? My DSIL will be, he'll be the one in RAVEN'S gear!

We have pretty much stopped the weekly trip to the supermarket and spending hundreds of dollars at a time. We go for small trips and buy what we need for a few days. Things are fresher and I'm pretty sure we don't spend as much because we only buy what we know we will eat. .

I think it works well that way, but cannot convince DW.

Starting to feel alive again. Whatever I had sucked the life out of me. Spent a lot of last few days there crashed out at the resort. The King beds at the BW are comfy so I really can't complain. .

CJ needs a vacation after his vacation.

-2 people went home sick

-apparently there was a second "conflict" with staff members in a week, good news there is I'm not involved.

-shoplifters out the wazoo today..I know we thwarted a couple tonight though.

How many guys here do the majority of grocery shopping, I do I save tons of cash but since I work in grocery retail I can spot the buys in any store ad can get it done quick, nothing like getting to the register and the receipt says you saved almost as much as you paid

The last time I was allowed to do the grocery shopping, I planned and spent according to the budget. DW went out and re-grocery shopped because she wanted to eat other foods than I purchased. Basically, we spent double on groceries. Now, I just eat whatever she brings home. The credit card is on fire and I cannot stop the spending.

Well, gentlemen, it has been a LONG time since I was here. I hope to start devoting more time on here to get back into the swing of things. I think I was staying away because being on the DisBoards sometimes makes me sad because it reminds me that I will have to wait another year before we can go back to The World. But I realize that is just stupid - I miss hanging out with all of you - so here I am. I will just suck it up and enjoy the camaraderie.

Disney on Ice was awesome with DD. Basically sat on the ice in the front. DD got to interact with Goofy, Minnie, Mulan, Belle and in honor or Barry........Actually got to hold Rafiki's staff. It was a good time.
