Well, gentlemen, it has been a LONG time since I was here. I hope to start devoting more time on here to get back into the swing of things. I think I was staying away because being on the DisBoards sometimes makes me sad because it reminds me that I will have to wait another year before we can go back to The World. But I realize that is just stupid - I miss hanging out with all of you - so here I am. I will just suck it up and enjoy the camaraderie.

A friend posted a picture of your Alabama "Snow Day" on Facebook today. There wasn't any white stuff to been seen except for some clouds in the sky.

oh yeah , one flake and people freak.... its crazy... one time in my 40 years have we ever really had a "blizzard" that shut things down for more than a week.... that was 93......

and in 2010 we had several cold days and some snow... shut us down but not for more than a few days....

but thats it,,,we dont get much of anything, and if we do its gone the next day....

I didn't make it back from my meeting in time to see DS's BBall game this afternoon but i am happy to report they won by 40. The best part is they beat the middle school that is the most obnoxious in the city and was suppose to be a basketball powerhouse.

Quick. Came in Thursday, left Friday.

Did getting check out the New World Symphony Center. Very cool building. They had a young artist chamber music concert and it was free. My favorite price.
