Yup, I can get pretty much anythng past him.

:lmao:

Let the boss know that I am available as a consultant. I'll work from KY at a really high rate and submit some tremendous reports. I'll use my red stapler on those reports.

I'd already be packed and ready to go.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

All three movies were already filmed from what I have read. All three are complete other than final editing. Second is next year and third is the following summer. Haven't seen it yet, planning to go next week with DS. Heard it was good.

Who says I'm not packed?

I'm the only one in the Family that wants to see it... I'm going to see it with skeptical optimism... Favortie Tolkin Book.

I didn't know it was goings to be a 3 part series. There must be some really long battle scenes.

I heard it was 2... then Terrance mentioned on the other site that it was going to be 3... sure enough... that's what the website says. I don't see how? I was having a hard time figuring out how he was going to make 2 out of this 1 not very large book... but 3... that's just crazy talk.

I've heard he's taking some liberty with some information in the Appendix to the LOTR books... I'm not sure there's enough there to manufacture 2 extra movies out of though... to be honest I haven't read the Appendix.

Could you do a report on our hockey federation and the parent issues they have?

New business idea. Instead of flavored coffees, I'll put alcohol in coffee and get over this noon rule that people keep referencing.

Noon rule? The Battle Cry in Wisconsin is "You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning!"

Coming up for air (and a quick peek into the world of the DIS). Hope all is well (or in Norm's case - getting better). This time of year seems to be the slowest for everyone except me. UPS releases new rates every January so I have to get our shipping computer system at work all upgraded and ready to accept them. On top of everything else that needs to be done and covering for other people that take vacation.

But enough of those downers..... the ticker says 20 days! :cheer2:

I can't imagine how they will get 3 movies out it. But, they had three movies out of the Matrix series.

Absolutely. How many pages do you want and how much are you paying me?

Noon rule? The Battle Cry in Wisconsin is "You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning!"

That's better. The best way to prevent a hangover is never stop drinking.

Jim! I thought you knew Brian was the "Controller of the Universe!" COTU!

OooohHhhhh! I did know that! I got in now. I guess I'm a little slow today with the holidays and all. Brain has been turned off until next Wednesday.:rotfl:

What is this arbitrary insistence on waiting unit noon? If the liquor store or bar is open, then it's always a good time.

And now you know the reason. Around here most stores open at either 11 or 12. The store across the street is noon. Every time Brent posts the name of something I haven't tried, I get that urge to run over and see if they have it.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I asked about the whole Westvleteren12 thing and they both looked at me like I was high!:lmao::lmao:

Hey Barry!:wave2: Where ya been?

Believe me, the lack of alcohol is not from a lack of effort. My bookkeeper brought in Chili for everyone today. Kind of reminds me why I hired her. She treats me better than the wife. We certainly had to have spirits with Chili, right?:confused3 Couldn't get any until they opened at noon. Now enjoying a nice bowl of Chili and a Sam Adams. Anyone else enjoying their workday?:thumbsup2

Oh I thought you said free consultant. I can't pay you but you can have all the time off you want.

:rotfl2:

Sorry, I get enough leave time now. Show me the money.

Well that would be a reason for that law. Some random new englander's arbitrary since of morality.

It happened. Oldest got mad at her sister and hit the helicopter out of the air and broke it. I have introduced the concept of restitution. She is not happy.

Good for you :thumbsup2

Lay down the law! What was the restitution? Did it involve escalators for pain and suffering?

Brings back memories of the old King Kong movies.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

I'm not sure what helicopter you have, but a lot of them can be repaired. There are replacement parts available for the more breakable parts.

Sounds like the one hurt most by this is Norm, now he has no helicopter to play with

She had to pay $51 for a new helicopter. One of the blades broke, so it is easily repairable. I figured this would teach her a bigger lesson.

If you're already high, why do you need to get drunk? :confused3

Hey Barry!:wave2: Where ya been?

Mostly sitting here at my desk or in meetings. All sorts of :headache::mad::headache::mad: meetings. We've been meeting with all sorts of IT Services vendors to find someone to supplement our IT staff. It kind of felt like I was interviewing my own replacements, but I've been assured that is not the case. Then just a few minutes ago I get a call from the Executive VP asking me to come to his office. My supervisor and manager are already in there. First thing I'm thinking is "you've got to be kidding me. Right before Christmas?" Turns out, it was to thank me for my effort and give me a promotion. Senior System Administrator. :faint:

Hey Philip.:wave2: You working today? Is it slow there too?

Be glad you only have one. I can't even begin to tell you how many toys have been laid to rest in my house due to sibling conflict.
