Well, I am officially sick for my Christmas vacation. I am a sneezing and nose is a running. Last time, it was Brent who made me sick with the Internet virus. My guess this time, Jim's mutated and did it to me. I'll take a second shot of bourbon and see if that fixes it. Stupid germs.

Evening! How is Everyone doing? DD feeling better?

Fever broke last night thanks, so she got to go to school today. She went back up to 100 this evening but it's back down again. She is pretty tired out though.

First thing to go is the judgement. But you think people would use a little common sense and plan ahead.

I know. this day and age though, you'd more likely to get lynched if you do it, yet....I dunno. I barely drink out socially, I can't figure it out. Hell, I rarely go out and be social.

DW and I have a long day of shopping planned for Friday that was made even longer today because DD didn't listen at Target. I was dragging DS out the door while DD was thrown over my shoulder in full melt down mode. I am so tempted to just get her a bag of Kingsford.

Bleh, I've seen those days with the youngest...I think the excitement of the season overrides their judgement ....

I do like the idea of punishing her by making her grill you some steaks..

Thanks guys. All I do is the lights and the tree topper, the rest is handled by DW, her mother and DS.

I picked up the topper a couple of years ago one one of my road trips. I found it a Disney Store, don't remember if it was Toronto or Halifax.

We got one similar a few years ago, but retired Tink in favor of a light-up Mickey/Minnie Star, all from Disney Store 'natch.

Man, I think DW is trying to do me in somtimes. Now she is talking of catching the early show to see Monsters Inc 3D Saturday before I start work on one of the busiest days we'll see this year.

At least I don't have to go with her and her BF to see Twilight the night before.

Usually, I recover quickly. If not, I'll go to the doc. I think our docs on the thread should be able to call in scripts for us. Stupid laws.

Just thinking in less then 2 weeks I get my new Vacation, Sick & Personal days

I'll be collecting a nice check for the 7 sick days I didn't use this year sometime in Feb, that should just about cover the Train Fare to WDW in August

Last full day of work before Christmas! We are supposed to have some pretty strong winds today, between 30-50mph. A little snow tonight will be as close to a white Christmas as we will get I think.

You might want to call your insurance agent and see if DW has secured a new life insurance policy recently. You can always take a nice 2 hour nap during the movie to get ready for your shift!

I seem to have avoided any and all of the Twilight stuff. Wife never showed interest and I think DD is too young. Have not seen any of the movies or read the books. I guess I'm lucky that way.

Is it noon yet? I need to go get some more beer.

Our vacation time off accrues monthly so no big day to get it.

Do you take the auto train? or just a train from NJ? We have friends that drive half way to VA and then take the auto train the rest of the way. We may be doing it with them one of these times.

That stinks. We need a corollary to the Man Law about being sick at Disney World. You're also not allowed to be sick over Christmas.

I have no idea what's going on with any of you anymore. Too busy to dis lately and 10+ pages a day is too much to catch up on. Hope all is well with you dads. All is.... interesting over here.

Well… at least “interesting” still has a somewhat positive connotation. I’m sure that there is quite the adjustment on everyone’s part taking place right now. We’d love to hear about how the visit is going, but its better that you focus on your household right now. Take care and know we’re all behind you.
