Why do I get the feeling this thread is going to be filled wieh nonsense....:sad2:

Oh well... time to go home... I'll have to work on the poem later. :lmao:

Monday park question of the day for all DISDads out there:

For our upcoming trip we are on the QSDP, so we're looking at getting the most bang for the buck at each of the parks. I've done some research... but I want to get all ya'll's opinion on this. What is your preferred QS location(s) at each park? (lunch and/or dinner... we'll probably use a snack credit for breakfast). Here's a shortlist of what I'm gunning for so far:

MK - Columbia Harbor House and Be Our Guest
Epcot - Sunshine Seasons (FW) and La Hacienda (WS)
DHS - Starring Rolls and Toy Story Pizza Planet (we've got a lot of kids in the party...)
AK - FlameTree and Y&Y

Thanks gents! :worship:

Sounds really good, I think Y&Y is the best deal for a QS credit. Never had La Hacienda, so can't form an opinion on it. I do enjoy the fish and chips at Yorkshire for a cred. To me, the challenge is getting the most out of snack credits.

Woohoo! Sixth place and Sean isn't even in the top 10!

Beats me... I always find these threads to be full of...of... useful content... or at least at one time it was useful.

Everyone now and then we post thoughtful information. Then, there are those races to the end.

I felt the same way about the maiden voyage of the Titanic

You look really young for your age.

How is this thread different from the others?

Dance and soccer for us tonight.

Great list! We're not CHH fans, but it is more of a matter of the menu and our preferences. Be Our Guest is definitey an excellent use of a QS credit for lunch. :thumbsup2 Also, while it isn't on the menu this way, if you're interested you can get corn dog nuggets and fries at Casey's as a meal. I actually kind of fell in love with Casey's on our last trip.

If I had to pick 2 places in all of the parks, it would be Be Our Guest and Flame Tree. The food is fantastic at both and you really feel like you're getting a good value for the credits.

Your EPCOT choices look good. Sunshine Seasons will be a good use, as will any QS place in WS. DW and I love La Hacienda though. The nachos are excellent.

DHS - well, I can't think of a great QSDP value there. You're probably about as well off with those choices as any. :lmao:

Great info! Thanks Andy. :thumbsup2

Agree on DHS... really struggling there. Maybe we'll ditch dinner and head to DD after Fantasmic! and hit Wolfgang Puck's... heard good things. Also want to try Earl of Sandwich.

If you truly have allot of Kids... I'd suggest trying to "train" them to eat early... or late... as many QS places tend to be very busy during the "typical" Lunch/Dinner times. We usually did a late Breakfast/Early Lunch... Brunch... then did a late Dinner.

Yes, I think we'll end up trying to do just that. We'll be hitting all the parks right at rope drop, so using a snack credit for breakfast (either a current credit, or getting something the night before we can eat for b'fast), then they'll be hungry by 11 or so, and we'll try and hit lunch early before the crowds descend, then just feel out dinner.

Based on Andy's experience, we'll brace ourselves for crowds at BoG no matter what the time.. and roll with it. :cool2:

Haven't been to BoG yet, so can't confirm there. When you say "biggest bang", are you saying food quality or food quantity? I really like the food at CHH, but for quantity, I'd get a double burger at Cosmic Rays. Same for DHS. We usually get the double burger at Rosie's and split it while we watch the Belle show.

Norm started it :lmao:

Brian started it.

Thank you

And talked David into joining him.

I'd add Germany in Epcot for a snack (pretzels!); restaurantasaurus at AK(theming is good, decent food).

Your list is great though. Especially Columbia Harbor House. Try to get the upstairs seating overlooking Haunted mansion, quieter up there and a great view.

Awesome info... I'm actually going to be tempted to use up alot of snack credits at Epcot... (ham and cheese croissant? oui! oui! uh... kids, can I borrow a credit? :lmao:)

Def. will try for upstairs at CHH. Sounds great. :thumbsup2

EoS has great sandwiches.

I think a little of both. We've never done the DP, so this will be a new experience for us.... I really don't think we'll be hungry at all, as I've heard you'll have plenty to eat. Plus, we'll just be getting off the boat, so either a) we'll slow down the food intake or b) our stomach's will be so stretched out, we'll still want to eat anything in sight. :rotfl2:

Thanks for the info, though. I've heard good things about Cosmic Ray's, and that would actually be near the top of my list for another place to try at MK.

Oh you did fine... just seems those commercials come in at the worst times. And havin' to do all that readin' just worked my nerves a little. See if a rerun of Moonshiners is on... that will always calm my nerves. Sure wish Tim and Tickle would get back together.

I'm not sure I'm qualified to narrate that one.

Well we can't let the holiday special edition drag on out past the holidays.

:lmao:
