Happy Friday Gents! Whackier than normal work week and me, DW & DS made it through first week of DD being away at college pretty well. DD has kept in touch even calling the house a couple of nights to go along with lots of texts.

Soccer season is upon us. I returned to coaching this season (U11G), and first practice is in a couple hours. I gave up all the Board and referee duties - too much time away from home. Youngest dd and i are excited to start practice. This is the feeling that motivates me to exercise to get into shape - for a few days when I remember that ain't gonna happen. But, I'll still have fun at practice

Enjoy these times as this is the first fall in 14 years that I am not involved in youth soccer. If 7v7 think about a 3-1-2 to help teach diamond shape and control the middle

Howdy! I'm Dan, 37 year old father of three & raising two others with my lady to boot. I am a grumpy lover of all things Disney. My wallet does not listen to my intentions to save money when I find cool Disney things. Hence my recent purchase of the Disney Infinity game which will arrive tomorrow.

I listen to Mouseworld Radio when I go to sleep and make any Disney trivia game in my house less of a competition and more of a display of Disney passion. Or obsession. Either way.

Next trip to the World is the week before Easter, 2014.

Way to early this morning I put the Pirate Princess on the plane back to school. Summer is now officially over. It was a good one though.

Very cool on both counts. if you happen to see Jim while in the parade, you are encouraged to make taunting gestures.

Hot as he!! here today. No wind, high humidity and 90+ temps. Feels like is 100. This is way past Animal Kingdom hot. For all you guys at the World, make sure you drink plenty of fluids. Save the adult beverages until later.

Guten Morgen, DISDads. TGIF.

First a public thanks to Zerf for his help with the route planning for our upcoming trip. This will be our first time with the 81-77-26-95 Route but it looks like pretty clear sailing as long as there is no hurricanes, superstorms, earthquakes, fires nor Ragnorak. The son, who will be one of three drivers in the vehicle loved the detailed mileage between waypoints and said, we wouldn't need the GPS.

Secondly, i love the picture of Karl meeting Elly that was posted earlier as a welcome. I think the first ten minutes or so of UP is the best love story ever animated and among the very top of any sort of movie.

The wife continues to recover from the cervical disc removal two weeks ago and should be in good shape for the trip. She's hardly driven all summer so it should be interesting to see how she handles the drive down. Luckily the grand cherokees seats recline quite a bit so she should be able to stretch out when needed.

i sometimes will leave my gps on the maps portions. it alerts me what the next exit will be. it will also say reststop wayyyy before you get to the reststop which is helpful. \
don't forget, last exit in Ga. on 95, make sure you "wave".

Yeah, I'll let the diamond cover the field, not just the defensive half. I watch too many coaches park kids on the penalty box line as defenders. May or may not be effective, but it sure is boring for those kids.
