Didn't get one of them waterproof phones, I guess?
No. No I didn't.

And apparently an otter box doesn't offer quite enough protection either.

If you’re going to “accidentally” destroy a piece of despised electronics…
Then jumping into the Gulf with said abomination in hand is certainly an excellent way of accomplishing the task.

Congrats on being able to ruin your phone. :thumbsup2

In the morning we plan to head out to the Atlantic for a few days.
I wonder if there’s anything I need to accidentally throw into the ocean while I’m there.
:scratchin
Have a great time!:thumbsup2

Now that's how you ruin a phone!:thumbsup2 Reminded me of the new commercials where everyone is dropping or finding a way to ruin the phone so they can get a new one. Can't remember what company, but the commercial was pretty funny. Too bad you didn't have it on tape, could have been a money maker. I see an iPhone5 in your future
I've had a rough year with phones. Crushed one with a tractor back in november and then killed this one. Unfortunately, I actually liked the first phone I killed. I replaced it with a RazrM and I hated that phone. It had plenty of memory, but you could only use 4gb for apps, so I basically had to delete an old one whenever I added a new one. All it would let me move to the sd card was video, pictures and music. On top of that it froze up and the screen would be unresponsive from time to time. Motorola has become crap since Verizon has really taken control.

I don't believe I'll be getting an iPhone though. I just don't like the os. I'm using dw's iPad right now, and I'd much rather be typing this with her S4... And that is probably what I'll be getting.

Enjoy the weeknd gents! Have not checked in for several days due to hectic business travel so prayers to any that require them, congratulations to all the kids on their accomplishments, Happy Birthday to any this week, welcome to any newbies and enjoy to those at WDW or DL or on a DCL.

Nope. Not for Windows.:rolleyes1

Just saw it. It is a virgin mobile commercial.

It is definitely a "If you leave hungry it is your own dang fault" event.

I like those events.

Or for windows phones.

:thumbsup2

Happy Friday guys. I borrowed my wife's phone during nap time today just to stop in and say hi while I'm just sitting in the hotel room. After I posted the pictures during nap time Wednesday I proceeded to go outside and jump into the Gulf of Mexico with my phone in my pocket.

The good news is that my phone wasa piece of $@#! and I was just waiting for an excuse to get a new one.

I'm with Stats - coincidentally accidental.

The one we are at is Kingstown Reef on I-drive, the other one they have is Reunion farther south on I-4

Not seen those before, but we usually go toll road.

Safe travels.
.

Thanks. Submitted a proposal. Approved minus maybe 10% change. 4 hour meeting. 4 hour drive.

Morning Guys! Just dropped the kids of at Ohio U for a summer camp thing. Now, taking Shari to breakfast and then after picking up the kids this afternoon headed to Cincy for the ballgame tonight. Gonna be another hot one!!!

Have fun at the game. Cardinals, Pirates, and Reds a bit further out. NL central is rocking again. Too bad the Cubs have to be claimed as a part of that division.

Well our company is having another baseball game adventure.
We are going to the Gehl club at Miller Park this Sat. I am glad we get to go. I like going and all you can eat till the 5th, i mean who can say no.

Downside. Teams Playing. Although now that i think of it, this may be a good game to watch. Brewers vs Marlins Battle for the bottom of the NL. :lmao:

Downside #2 - This may be the last one we do for a while if not ever. :guilty:

I blame the company for part of the issue. They bought 100 tickets and offered them to us.
Problem #1 Brewers are not doing well and we have a lot of cubs fans here :headache:
Problem #2 The got tickets for a game against the Marlins.

So there were many vacancies for this game. So what is a person to do with free game, transportation and food. Go and get more tickets for other family since coworkers are not going.

They offered everyone the op to get 2 tickets. Then 4 then when they were still available it was what ever.
I know have 8 :thumbsup2
Myself, wife, my 2 boys, Wife's, mom and stepdad and my brother and fiancee.

I expect to have a good time. Even if the Brewers are not that good this year.

You had me at all I can eat until the 5th inning.

That's a pretty nice perk, even if it is the Brewers and Marlins. Around here it would sell out in minutes, even when the Red Sox are bad. have a fun time.

Just don't tell CJ that no one wants to see the Marlins play. I think he's still bitter about trading his whole team to Toronto.:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

I'd enjoy a Marlins game. A day at a MLB game is still better than most days anywhere else, except WDW.

I think you'll end up asleep either way...

I agree, you know when you put something on late it seems you fall asleep after the first few minutes:confused3

We stayed up and watched Sharknado. My DS kept telling me how stupid it was, but sat on the couch and watched the whole thing. I guess the so bad, it's good description is accurate.

:wave2:Corey

:wave:Brent. We have today and tomorrow with showers cooling things off later tomorrow and them a few days of high 70's/80 on the forecast. Being the 3rd heat wave already here this year, this one really didn't bother us much. We had hoop practice outside, camps all week for the kids and outside activities in the evening. I think I'm ready for WDW in August.:thumbsup2

I caught the last half-hour or so of Sharknado. It was like a car accident--I couldn't look away. DW and I found it hilarious.

‘Morning all…
Waz up…

“Sharknado”? Had to look that one up (I’m pretty good and missing most things hyped on the Telle).
Low and behold… it’s exactly what the title would imply. I believe I’ll pass on that one. On the upside, it appears that Sharknado II has already started production. You get to watch another train wreck next summer.

Now i am unsure if it was good or bad decision to pass on this. Saw it in the guide while scrolling for something to watch last night.

I watched about 20 minutes but was too exhausted to watch any more. It did not disappoint. Full of typical cliches (and obvious plot lines) combined with terrible side effects. I can't wait to watch the entire thing tonight! At least you know by the title what you're in for. Like 'Snakes On A Plane'.

That's a tough sell. For a long time, that was the same situation for the Pirates. Combine a bad home team with a bad visiting team and that's what you get. PNC Park was the only thing that kept people going to the games though. It really is a beautiful park.

Evening....finally the rains have arrived, apparently with tornado warnings, but I doubt much wil come of that. Raining hard right now, yet sun's out, been lots of thunder and lightning earlier.

Rains just came through the Burgh. Finally cooled us off. Went from low 90's to upper 70's. No severe storms thankfully.

I just discovered the Joys of Powerwashing, I love this toy, tonight was a test but my pavers, house, landscape ties, driveway, sidewalk and everything else in my yard should be able to be seen from space soon:cool1::goodvibes:thumbsup2

Clear here. But, haven't had the overly oppressive heat. Just the usual oppressive heat.

Anytime you want to drive over and power wash my house and cars, feel free. My car only gets washed when it rains and I leave it outside the garage.

Hey guys. Up in maine for the weekend, got away from the heat for a couple days. It's only 95 up here today, as oppose to 97 at home. ;)

Hey guys, dumb question.
We can get tickets three days early. We just need to get them at Guest Relations. Anyone know what time Guest Relations opens at MK? We have reservation that day at BBB at 8:30 am so we're going to be a bit pressed for time in the morning.

Hang in there. I don't remember the first 6 months with our first one.

Stay strong! It gets better. When my DS was a newborn and into his toddler years he tested us at every turn. My wife told me that the second child is opposite and would be easier. I told her to be careful as he may have been the good one. Guess what?............she gave us a run for our money that is still going on at age 10.:thumbsup2 At times I was calling an old priest and a young priest.:laughing:

I hear you. My youngest cried for the first 6 plus months of her life. It was hard. Hang in there.

It sucks now, but trust me - it will pass and you'll hardly remember these times. Want proof? And family with more than one child. :thumbsup2

Stick with it. It will pass soon and having them trained for the crib make is so much better when they start walking so they don't get up and come to mom and dads bed in the middle of the night.

Thanks for all the encouragement guys! Little Man had a pretty good night last night and had good naps this morning. Didn't want to sleep this afternoon but finally went down this evening about six and cried for about 30 minutes before falling asleep. Been asleep ever since. DW crashed a little while ago...she needed it! Again, thanks for the encouragement.

Very nice! It was 96 with a heat index of 110 here today. One would think that kind of heat would be great for a day at the water park. NOT. Even the water felt like 100 today :stir: We are not expected to "cool down" to 87 until Monday. Going to see if the beach with combat the 94 degrees tomorrow.

I don't invest in individual stocks (per Dave Ramsey) but I picked Fidelty Contrafund Mutual Fund in part as it includes Disney and Apple along with some other companies I liked. It has averaged 9.88% growth over the last 10 years. I'm happy with that.
