Has anyone ever had wild boar:confused3, Does it taste like regular pork:confused3, we now carry it ,was wondering if I can get it at a good price is it worth trying:confused3

Hey guys, dumb question.
We can get tickets three days early. We just need to get them at Guest Relations. Anyone know what time Guest Relations opens at MK? We have reservation that day at BBB at 8:30 am so we're going to be a bit pressed for time in the morning.

Be careful about assuming you'll be able to pick up tickets that are part of a package booking three days before you check in to your Disney resort. While there are people who have reported being able to do it, there have been almost as many reporting that they tried and were unable to get their tickets early. One day early is generally no problem. Three days early you're playing CM roulette. You may have someone there who can do it for you, but not all of them can or will.

Evening....finally the rains have arrived, apparently with tornado warnings, but I doubt much wil come of that. Raining hard right now, yet sun's out, been lots of thunder and lightning earlier.

Don't you mean Sharknado warnings? :lmao:

I just discovered the Joys of Powerwashing, I love this toy, tonight was a test but my pavers, house, landscape ties, driveway, sidewalk and everything else in my yard should be able to be seen from space soon:cool1::goodvibes:thumbsup2

Pressure washers are addictive! When I get mine out, I can't stop. Similar to that is WD40...you just start finding things to use it on!

I miss David saying "Good Morning" every morning.

Aww...

Very nice! It was 96 with a heat index of 110 here today. One would think that kind of heat would be great for a day at the water park. NOT. Even the water felt like 100 today :stir: We are not expected to "cool down" to 87 until Monday. Going to see if the beach with combat the 94 degrees tomorrow.

Poor Don. I hope the heat is not too much for you at the beach. :confused3

YUUUP! Out local state lodge puts out an buffet a withsome different meats. Last year included bison, boar, emu, frog less, and maybe some others. The boar was served in a sweet and sour sauce, with some heat in th sauce. It was good.

I miss David saying "Good Morning" every morning.

Nemesis will be around soon enough.

Feel free to drive down and pressure wash my cars. I prefer not to do any chores, and then yes, that is addictive, and I try to continue. Both neighbors cut their grass last night, and since the heat still hasn't killed my grass, I'll have to cut it eventually.

:wave2: Hi guys! :wave2: I've been on Facebook more than here over the past month or so. Hope everyone's doing ok! The DW & I are finalizing plans for a trip down end of March/first week of April. Hope to meet some of you guys down there.

Worked up some tentative plans for the April trip. I booked at Boardwalk now, but am going to try to get a BCV/VGF stay.

Saturday - Arrive BCV; Cape May Breakfast; SAB; Mass; dinner Boardwalk QS
Sunday - SAB; Bluezoo dinner
Monday - DHS; Brown Derby Dinner
Tuesday - Arrive VGF; Narcoosee Dinner
Wednesday - WHW; Beaches n Cream Dinner
Thursday - MK; Dinner to be determined from BoG dinner
Friday - Gasparilla Springs QS; Checkout and drive home

We usually do a theme park every other day, but we are going to try and limit it to two for this trip so we can enjoy the DVC resorts and save a little money for Fall Break trip in 2014 as well.

What is a game truck?

Morning..

Don't you mean Sharknado warnings? :lmao:

That's what I've been trying to convince the kids...it was my running joke for the night. Audrey looked outside and said there was no "shark potatoes" out there.:rotfl2:

In the theater waiting for dispicable me to start. Free movie to start the day of freebies. Wife and mil went to see the conjouring. I saved them seats next to me. My wife doesn't do scary movies.

If they were in here I would be able to see R.I.P.D or Red 2 or something. This will be good too though.

I don't invest in individual stocks (per Dave Ramsey) but I picked Fidelty Contrafund Mutual Fund in part as it includes Disney and Apple along with some other companies I liked. It has averaged 9.88% growth over the last 10 years. I'm happy with that.

That is a good return for a large cap. Mine is around 7% but I also have some growth funds that are getting around 12 - 14% right now. Still young enough to take risks in my 401k

It can be good but it doesn't taste like regular pork. It is much leaner and denser. Unless it is cured it is going to have a game taste like deer or elk.

What is a game truck?

A genius idea. The one here is a 20' trailer that is full of game systems. The just pull it up in front of the house fire up the generator and let the kids go. I think ours has 3 x-boxes, 3 ps3's, and at least 1 computer. I am not sure what the game selection is like.

.

I'm 100% in. I don't have international funds, but have American Century Small Cap, T Rowe mid Cap, and Fidelity Contrafund Large Cap. Other than investing in the different funds, I learned from Dave Ramsey to not panic and time the market. T Rowe and American Century had over 20% growth last year. I'm in it for the next 20 years.

It's like DVC. I wish I had known about it 10 years before I did.

Disney question:

You guys who have rented DVC points, is it cheaper than booking a regular room at Disney? I understand when you have a family of 5+ you need more rooms which makes regular rooms more. I am asking for a 1 to 1 room rate.

It's hard to say b\c you have to have specific resorts\rooms to compare, time of year, etc. So you'd need to compare something like Art of Animation versus BLT. I have friends that badly want to join the DVC but aren't financially able to do so just yet. So they always rent from DVC owners. From what I understand, it's a pretty good deal and obviously the rooms are amazing in the DVC resorts.

Sorry I couldn't answer your query directly:(
