Grass cut. Watching NASCAR.

The place I'd go to here pays with a debit card. I'd lock that baby up and let it grow.

Have to watch time frames. Sometimes, the trap with those is you have to use it in 6 months, or you lose it. They deactivate card.

I did that while doing the postdoc. The secret to that was the check went directly on SWMBO's student loans so we never saw it. The bees were supposed to give me some income but they have adapted to the local mentality of depending on free handouts. :headache:

I'm willing for free handouts. Other than CJ's credit card, where can I can those?

I just watched Cars 2 with the family. Well, they watched it and I slept through it. Apparently I was also used as a race track if the Franchesco and Miguel cars on the blanket are any indication.
!

You must have slept soundly.

I am working on our family t-shirts for our upcoming trip and I was wanting to see which of these you all would choose. I am leaning towards choice 2 or 3, but I wanted to see what others thought.

Choice 3

This (3). Otherwise, someone will ask if you're Oklahoma fan. :lmao:

Good luck to both of you.

7 - 2 win for DS. Poor guy was still a bit bummed because he let in both goals, one on a penalty kick. Everytime he plays keeper that give up a penalty kick. I told him no one expects you to stop those and you have guessed right each time, just can't quite get to it in time.

Now we'll have to see if we can win one tonight for a change. Maybe the other team will all fall over in the hot, humid day.

When I get off work I can sleep through a tornado or the kids ripping up the house. What always wakes me is DW yelling "Shut up! your dad is sleeping!"

Sounds like a good game to me. Best talent a keeper can have is a short memory.

Pretty prevalent east of I-75

A win is a win. Hope tonight is another for the W column.

Just got back from our Busch Gardens VA trip, I did some horn beeping on parts of I95 to say hi to some Dis Dads we passed by, you may not have heard it but we waved:wave2:

Yeah, a keeper can't be expected to stop PKs - maybe lucky enough to stop or influence one in a shoot out.

I'm the same way. I sleep thru storms and everything.

Thanks Brian!

Good morning :thumbsup2

Congratulations Mark on the wonderful news. What a tremendous blessing :)

Thanks David!

Congrats and sorry to hear about the "appointments"

Well, it may be necessary just for our own sanity. I hear March Madness is a popular weekend for that.

Congrats Mark! I have a feeling my DW will be trying to schedule an appointment for me soon. We will be done after this 3rd one comes!

We thought we were done, too. :scared1:

Disney has a home kit

Evening, all. Checking in from lovely Erie, PA. Here on business all week. The kicker is that my AC went out of my car on the ride up, and it's to be the hottest week of the summer. Win for me!

Cheers,
Indy

So i am sitting in my chair last night when out of the blue i hear my wife ask our sons, "What would you guys think if mom and dad go to disney alone for our 10th anniversary?"

Now I was shocked.

This is the woman that thought i was crazy when i had her watch the disney planning videos when i got them in the mail. It has now officially become where she is into disney just as much if not more than me now.

So i didn't say anything and just listened. She has this whole thing planned out it sounds like. Her and i go, our boys stay with her mom who will be able to drop them off to school before work. They go to a friends after school until her mom can pick them up.

I don't know when she is planning for us to go but I don't really want to go near our anniversary. April 24th isn't that great of a time to go. Not bad but there are better times to go.

If this is a go i guess that means i will have to start looking into romantic ideas of things to do. We shall see.

Congrats on 10 years. And on finding an awesome DW.

We found out that my wife's best friend of the past 20 years' daughter died in a car accident the night before last. She was 16 years old. It is so heartbreaking. We will be driving down to College Station this afternoon so we can be with them this weekend, since we can't miss work Tuesday for her services. Please pray for their family - I can't imagine having to go through that.

She was riding with her boyfriend, who was bringing her home. They got off the highway and were on the feeder road when her boyfriend saw a bunny rabbit in the road. He swerved to avoid hitting the rabbit and strayed off the road toward a ditch. He jerked the steering wheel the other way to try to get back on the road and over-corrected. They shot across the road and the car rolled down in a ditch on the other side. He survived and is really torn up about it. My wife's friend is so strong through this and keeps consoling him.

My take from all of this is to just hit the damn animal. No sense risking the lives of yourself and/or others in the car to save the life of an animal that shouldn't be in the road in the first place. I may have swerved also in his situation, but I learned this lesson in a hard way.

My prayers go out to their family and to the boyfriend who will have to live with that for the rest of his life. It is so saddening.

Thoughts and prayers.
Just curious was she a student at A&M? If so PM me her name and I will make sure she is counted here at the local muster here.
On April 21st every year Aggies al over the world gather where ever they are and perform a roll call for aggies that passed in the last year. Someone calls "here" for each name on the list.

Ever thought of selling plasma?
I do its $50 bucks a week cash. Enough to cover my gas and let's me put a little back to cover the overages (beer) and a few treats (tequila) without affecting our budget.

Good morning. Up with DS this morning. He has a tummy ache, but hopefully it won't be anything bad. I think he just needs to take a dump, but convincing a 3 year old isn't exactly easy.

Anyway, we had a great day at Turner Field yesterday. The Reds won, we got to watch all the Reds pitchers do their thing in the bullpen, and DS got the ball that JJ Hoover used to warm up. DD on the other hand wasn't so happy to be there, but we still managed to have a good time.

Good morning gentlemen. :coffee:

Been digging around my computer files for the last few hours, found my photos from our trip in 2007 when we did the Pirate and Princess Nights at WDW. Damn I look like a child compared to how I look now, about 30-40 pounds lighter. But damn I look good in that pirate outfit, even CMs were giving me second glances to make sure I wasn't one of them!

Morning...

Last day of Staycation I, it's my day off for the week. Tomorrow starts an 11 day run of work. :scared: By myself, as DW has left for work and dropped both girls to the Day Camp. Very hot and humid out today, so I've got 14 hours of paranormal TV saved on the DVR I'll plow through, got the AC on, andsome cold beverages close by. :thumbsup2 Need to contact CAA to find out when to order my triptix for next month too. :thumbsup2
