Good morning gents! Almost at the midway point of the week - come on weekend.

You definately can do this :thumbsup2

DS already hit me up with the April 2015 SW Celebratin in Anaheim. We have done 2 SW Celebrations, forget the numbers, but we did Indianapolis and Los Angeles. Challenge is as kids get into high school it is tough to pull them out of school for an entire week and our schools are beyond a pain in the backside on this even with straight A students. Gonna have to figure this out though as SW Celebration combined with DL would be sweet. Here is DS and me at Celebration in LA:

Excellent parenting! :thumbsup2

Twenty days out of the office… without it being due to having been furloughed or let go…
I’ll Take it. Even without a trip planed.

Enjoy the windfall.

Technically I will be working but getting to watch a lot of sports at the same time.

If it makes you feel any better......I have to work until the 20th. I will be heading to WDW on the 21st so don't get feeling too good.:lmao::lmao:

It won't be too bad for me as long as the weather is good. I have to look after 3 teams and they are all outdoor sports.

:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 Always a good plan.

I've got you all beat. I'm next up for the evening shift at work. If I get it, I'll get off at 4am and the flight leaves at 8.

OK... so... a month ago I somehow got voluntold to be this year's "Team Building Committee Coordinator". Not sure how that all happened, but ok... I ran with it. We have 65 people in this particular department and I formed a committee with 6 other folks to represent each of the sub-departments. After budget talks and sending out surveys, the winning event for this year's team building is..... GO CART RACING! :car::car:

For the past 3 years we have done the same thing... fishing on a charter boat. I guess some folks are tired of the same old. So far I have received mixed responses, but most folks are happy to be going racing (including me). Next Friday is race day! Woohoo! Now I just have to coordinate the rest of the details between now and then.

Ok, who are you and how did you hack Don's account?!? And what have you done with him?!?

Don does not post much, and you have been posting like crazy!

I was pretty proud of myself, par'ing 5 out of the first 9 holes. Then I played the back nine and my game took a crap.

It only takes a couple of good shots to keep you going back.

Hopefully the full time+ doesn't mean tuition payment+.

Unfortunately yes it does.

Still jealous. Looks like it was a great time. I'm glad that you and the Pirate Princess get to enjoy exploring the world together like that. :thumbsup2

Too bad that she's going to miss out on Cross Country. I think she should just go an extra semester, or an extra year for that matter. :rolleyes1

It was a good trip. Lots of stories.

I told her she has four years to graduate. Another year will really kill the budget.

Sign me up. Nothing like scraping paint against one of your coworkers to build team spirit.

I bet! And would dip into Disney fun!

It's especially rewarding to send a manager/director into a wall... just sayin' :lmao::lmao:

Yeah - some of the courses pay me to come and play them. Then I get stuck signing autographs all day to all of my groupies.... :lmao: :rotfl2:

But seriously, since I'm salary, I guess I did get paid to play yesterday. :thumbsup2

Why do all of the work events involve golf? I'm not a golfer so I end up staying in the office. Why can't it be fishing?

O.K., Go Cart racing would be good too. I'd still like to go out on that charter boat though...

Maybe a trip to the firing range would be fun as well. I can just imagine how nervous the VPs would be. :lmao:

For years I've been trying to get us to go shoot some target clays. There's a place good for that about 45 minutes east of here. I think you're west of me so that would be a long drive.

Actually... one of our sub-department managers had a team builder where they had skeet shooting at his house. Too bad I wasn't invited to that event... I love me some skeet shootin'!

If you ain't first, you're last!

Fortunately, I have a shooting club about 15 minutes from my house. That reminds me... need to see about rounding up the fellas and go next weekend.

Sounds like a blast!

Remember this line - "It was just a racing accident."

Who said anything about nicknames? :confused3

:lmao::lmao::thumbsup2<=Thumb

It won't be too bad for me as long as the weather is good. I have to look after 3 teams and they are all outdoor sports.

But it's in Canada. Isn't it still like 12 degrees up there?:confused3

That's a might late to be working. I'm pretty sure after working 3rd shift I'd board the wrong plane and up in Kentucky with Norm.:rotfl2:

Come on Randall, they don't have beaches in Canada. Only frozen Tundra. Do you have a Women's Frozen Tundra pic?:laughing:
