Different thread, leads back to the conversation around thanksgiving about leaving the DisDads tread and being nailed for an infraction.

Come on, tell us what you did. Think of it as a public service announcement. You are letting everyone else know what not to do.

Mourning all, slow night tonight, nights like to night make me wonder why they pay me, but I will take it.

That is my February, March and August. It's always somewhat busy, but there are days where I sit and wait for others to finish and cannot do anything until they do. Should probably find a way to stay home on those days. Hope it picks up!

I would like to buy direct at some point, my resale is suppost to close by jan 4th, I'm hoping it can close quicker incase the grandfather thing is dec 31 or something , but from what I read there's a lot of hostility from others about them buying direct and someone buying same for half on resale, and the points being the same

OK, new strategy. I'm going to wait for the financial cliff. When everyone is out of $$, I'll buy resale cheap. Then I can use the extra money to buy some points direct to get into the other locations as needed. What do you think?

I hear a lot of people rumbling because their contract will be worth less to resale. I do hope you get in under the grandfather period if that is the ruling.
I bought with the intention of using and enjoying my points so resale is of no concern to me, the contract is worth a lot more to me for my and my family's use. So from the arguments that my contract would loss value is not a valid concern to me.

Morning guys,

Drove back from the Keys this morning. Stopped at Cracker Barrel for breakfast on the way back. Good eating.

Now before all the bikinis and sunshine comments, it was for work and we spent most of the day in an office. Did have lunch dockside by a canal. Got a text from Brian who was in town for the day and wanted to have dinner. Unfortunately, I wasn't in Miami. Next time.

I will be heading to the Keys this weekend with my UK dive buddy. That trip is for fun so feel free to commence the sniping.

Patriots beat the dolphins and it's in the 50's here today.

Sorry, that's all I got. It's hard to trash talk the guy heading out to dive in the keys. Have a great time!

The diver went below another 10 feet, but the guy joined him a minute later. The diver went below 15 more feet, a minute later, the same guy joined him.

This confused the diver, so he took out a waterproof chalkboard, and wrote, "how the heck are you able to stay under this deep without equipment?"

the guy took the board and chalk, erased what the diver had written, and wrote, "i'm drowning, you moron!

4) Boss pulls me aside, there's a problem. He cannot give anyone the 24th or the 31st off this year. Completely screws up our plans for Christmas with DW's family, went from 4 1/2 day trip to maybe 2. Not my boss' fault, this came from 1 or 2 levels above him. ( I was supposed to be off 29th-2nd)

If the rumors are true it does not bother me, but I am a rare breed in I buy direct and plan to do again in the future. I do not plan to sell my "share" at any point.

It doesn't effect me per se. I have direct and resale contracts. Rather or not I get "grandfathered" in isn't the point. It was nice to have that inflated resale market if I did want to sell.

I can understand you stance on resale value, for me I don't plan to resale my contract. Now maybe that will change at some point but I don't for see that anytime soon at all.
So for me they can do it or not, not going to worry about the ruling.

Morning....thanks guys, I needed a good rant there. It's going to be a tough week. Despite being in the Christmas season, this week is schedualed bare-bones for some reason on nights. My shift leader isn't impressed with that. Saturday will feel like a godsend, off for the weekend

Lots of running around to do as well, Amelia goes to the dentist later this morning, then off to work. Tomorrow I have my bronchosopy, so I'll end up taking the day off to recover from it.

Is it a whole new computer system or just how they do things? I know when I started here I had to learn GP Dynamics. Not really hard to use, but a big change from what I was using.

I used to be the principal at a local college and would get called all the time but unfortunately there was no overtime. The worse time was during the superbowl just as Carolina started a late charge to make it interesting.
