Just a quick scan of the past few pages. Looks like the usual level of quality posting.

Prayers for those in need and congratulations to those deserving.

My plan to get more accomplished by avoiding you gents hasn't worked well. SWMBO has been sick since Thanksgiving with bronchitis. DS and DD have moderate colds that they can't shake but were well enough to celebrate DS's birthday last week. I am learning to adjust my expectations lower (if that is possible for a Bills fan) and if I can keep from getting further behind at work I may just be satisfied. Time to give it another shot. Maybe this week will be more productive.

Maybe I missed it, but how does someone from your location become a Bills fan? There must be a team closer that will provide less misery.

1)Had a long lecture on the walk taking the kids to school about lice prevention, it's going around again, so far, so good. We get there and they pretty much break every rule I set before I can leave... Had a talking to with the oldest, ended up putting her in tears. Father of the year here. Felt like crud after that

2)Missed being trapped in the elevator when the power went off by 5 seconds.

3) Late for work, hit every red light on the way.

4) Boss pulls me aside, there's a problem. He cannot give anyone the 24th or the 31st off this year. Completely screws up our plans for Christmas with DW's family, went from 4 1/2 day trip to maybe 2. Not my boss' fault, this came from 1 or 2 levels above him. ( I was supposed to be off 29th-2nd)

5)Way understaffed tonight, couldn't get much done.

6)I had to do a job that was supposed to be finished before I came in, I got it all ready, but someone decided to re-organize my work and undid it all, so it took me longer.

7)The "kicker" the thing that bothered me the most, is I had my store key taken from me, so that the midnight shift could use it. He didn't take it from the people below me, and it didn't settle well with me. Not sure I should read more into it or not. For some reason it's really bothering me though.

Did you hear the DVC rumor about trying to restrict resale DVC contracts to only the home resorts?

DD actually did teach me how a calendar works and now I have DL trip planned, just gotta hope certain things fall into place

If the rumors are true it does not bother me, but I am a rare breed in I buy direct and plan to do again in the future. I do not plan to sell my "share" at any point.

Drove back from the Keys this morning. Stopped at Cracker Barrel for breakfast on the way back. Good eating.

Now before all the bikinis and sunshine comments, it was for work and we spent most of the day in an office. Did have lunch dockside by a canal. Got a text from Brian who was in town for the day and wanted to have dinner. Unfortunately, I wasn't in Miami. Next time.

I will be heading to the Keys this weekend with my UK dive buddy. That trip is for fun so feel free to commence the sniping.

Drove back from the Keys this morning. Stopped at Cracker Barrel for breakfast on the way back. Good eating.

Now before all the bikinis and sunshine comments, it was for work and we spent most of the day in an office. Did have lunch dockside by a canal. Got a text from Brian who was in town for the day and wanted to have dinner. Unfortunately, I wasn't in Miami. Next time.

One day, a diver was enjoying the aquatic world 20 feet below sea level. He noticed a guy at the same depth he was, with no scuba gear on whatsoever.

The diver went below another 10 feet, but the guy joined him a minute later. The diver went below 15 more feet, a minute later, the same guy joined him.

This confused the diver, so he took out a waterproof chalkboard, and wrote, "How the heck are you able to stay under this deep without equipment?"

The guy took the board and chalk, erased what the diver had written, and wrote, "I'm drowning, you moron!

Sorry to hear it they day is not going well. Hope it gets better. The lice issue is always a hot topic when school is in around here. At least you didn't get stuck in the elevator. Here's some pixie dust and wishes for improvement.

I spent an hour this morning helping DS with his algebra assignment he "forgot" he had. That made him miss the bus, had to drive him to school and making me late into the office this morning. The good part is apparently everyone else is having a tougher morning than I am because they are all still not in.
