Sounds fun. Our only show will be Nutcracker, which is next Saturday.

We have had our tree up in several locations in the house and we move it every few years. I looked on the box. It was $49, and we bought it after Christmas, so it may have been as low as $25. That was 10 years ago. We definitely have our money's worth from this tree.

Our artificial one we bought last year fro $60 when I had knee surgery and cutting a fresh one was not an option. Now that I can walk again we are putting up real and artificial because I like having the real one up.

$2.50 a year.:eek: You certainly got your money's worth.

We are also going to A Christmas Carol, Blue Man Group and DD is getting Taylor Swift tickets for Xmas.

Tonight, off to Boston to see The Grinch That Stole Christmas at the Wang Center. Woo-Hoo!:eek::cool1:

Wang Center.

One of the draw backs of a small town. None of those shows either.

Agreed.

Nobody move.......I dropped my brain.:lmao::lmao:

The Dutchman must have a Captain. Not sure how I would want to be married for a once a shore every 10 years. Granted, Kiera Knightley might be worth it one time.

DW took dds over to Evansville for a Disney Princess on ice show a few years ago, but that has been the closest one. I've not been to the Opryland hotel but hear it is nice. DW went years ago with her dad. Still a two hour drive is the problem.

It's just good business.....Might be worth it, especially since you get to live forever.

Oh yes, I forgot. DD and I have a date with Disney on Ice over Christmas break. I agree it's nice to like close enough to a large city where we can see a lot of shows and events.

It is pronounced egregious.

I do agree, being so close to Nashville has its perks with shows and attractions. A 2 hr drive is rough to check out scenes from shrek the halls carved out of ice and slide down ice slides, there's also a really cool drive thru Christmas light decorations down the street from opry hotel and oprymills

If we make it an all day trip, then it may be worth it. DW hasn't let me know what the Christmas plans are. I used to enjoy the holidays until I lost the ability to make any choice.

Isn't that normal regardless of name?
LOL.... Yup.

What was your time today, Tim?
Official time was 58.13. I came in 64th place out of 92. There were some serious runners here. I am really happy with the time.. A lot faster than I thought I would have ran. 9:39 mile My legs are sore today.

Keep trying guys. If I got Tim to name a baby after me, you can too!
:lmao::lmao:

Congrats Tim. Hope the race went well too.
Thank you! Yea, the race was fun. :thumbsup2

(see above for race comments)

Good luck! Take someone with you (like DW!) if possible!

Hey, which of you Canadians are driving down our Christmas trees today?

Well the hospital to go to is in Toronto (bleh) and DW will be working, I'll go with Dad. It's the same place he goes for his chemo, and he has a parking pass. :thumbsup2
