Friday, putting up the Christmas tree, ownage.

I got it! Hide the bourbon IN THE CANDY !! :hyper:

Yes, we have bourbon candy but it doesn't have the same effect as bourbon. When I walked in for my 3rd and final Thanksgiving, one of the inlaws had a crown shot waiting for me. They are all mystified that I drink bourbon neat.

Brent- feel better

Carl- I want to know how to make a piecaken

Norm- don't tell me it's the blue that's out. I'm not color blind.

All Dads- happy Friday.

Morning guys...

That made for an interesting night...

Brent, glad you are getting it taken care of. Two years I was in the middle of a 6 week hospital stay because I didn't see a doctor over something stupid that got out of hand. Feel better.

We could use some pixie dust here. My kids are trying to violate a key Disdads rule. We leave in 7 days and they're both starting to get sick.

Pixie dust sent. Hope they get over it quick.

Hi!
Doing well. Been crazy busy. DISDads Convention is 45 days away (for me - we're going down early) and I"m scrambling to get everything done. Especially after our shirt vendor flaked on us last week.

I'll have new quotes by the beginning of next week and shirts ordered soon thereafter. But it was an extra headache I did NOT need.

I wouldn't worry about planning anything past the Whispering Canyon dinner. Chances are we will be all banned from Disney after that.

Of course. They go in first and have them throw me the bag of candy so they can continue to search for the other bags.

You didn't raise fools.

It's the green. Here, hold this while I plug in the other end.

You didn't raise fools.

I tell them I will hold the cash in their birthday cards as well. They've figured that one out already.

Example of NOT post padding!

Exactly. I was using this movie quote as an example of the challenge between good and evil. :lmao:

Or, we just finished cleaning the house and flipping channels for a lunch break and came across the worst quote from an actor acting a terrible accent.

Shoot him.

Cut out his tongue.

Shoot him and cut out his tongue. Then shoot his tongue and trim that scraggly beard.

Nope, never smoked or did drugs  Alcohol though quite literally, is my way of life (and source of income) :rotfl2:

Appointment is set for Tuesday

I tried, but I just ended up spinning on circles like Curley Howard :rotfl2:

Amelia got sick right before a trip, week before, she recovered though. Prayers

Almost?

Appointments are set, and it freaked me out big time, I NEVER go to ER, but I made a quick exception there and then.

Yup, almost. I could run faster than she could.:rotfl2::rotfl2:

Prayers that everything is OK.

Finished as much of the outdoor lights as we could. Tree is up, but wife says we need to move it into the den this year.:headache: Kids are not happy as it was always in the living room/foyer. Now to move it without breaking branches or having the lights fall off. Fake one goes up tomorrow.

Tonight, off to Boston to see The Grinch That Stole Christmas at the Wang Center. Woo-Hoo!:cool1:

Sounds fun. Our only show will be Nutcracker, which is next Saturday.

We have had our tree up in several locations in the house and we move it every few years. I looked on the box. It was $49, and we bought it after Christmas, so it may have been as low as $25. That was 10 years ago. We definitely have our money's worth from this tree.
