Thanks!!! I need to post on the nemesis thread but I'm too tired. I just got home from work. I'm headed to bed in a few. Now that I have a time to submit, I have to up the milage. My legs were sore today, however I did go for a 1.5 mile walk with DW and the kids. It was a beautiful day here today. I think Sunday I will run 3 miles and do 4 on tuesday & thursday before going for 7 on Friday or Saturday. That will be my longest run yet.

The tree is up. Cinderella on top and a Tiffany Box under the tree. A wealthy cousin gave us a Tiffany crystal bowl for our wedding and I put the box under the tree to remind us every year that we still can't afford Tiffany.

Morning guys....

Was a good, productive night last night. We decided to bite the bullet and headed up to the mall last night. Pretty busy, as our retailers put on sales now to compete with Black Friday. Main objective was to open a bank account for Amelia, to start saving her money, she has a goal. (An IPad) and also can use all the experience for a Brownie patch. We also decided to get their Santa pics taken

low quality pic only cause DW took a picture of the picture with her phone.

Best of all, no lines for this yet, so got it over with fast. Got some shopping done, so the girls are pretty much done now except for a couple little things. Busiest store had to be the Disney Store, it got ransacked.

Hope everyone is having a good (most of you long) weekend. Off to work I goes, got scores of new beers to get out.

Howdy dads!

Tree up and decorated, about 80% of inside decor done. Taking a break and catching up here. Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving. We didn't go too crazy with Black Friday but I did score the last trampoline at WalMart 3 min into their sale. The fun part was trying to get the thing in and out of the van by myself. I also discovered something in the process. If you eat mass quantities of meat and taters, let it stew a couple of hours, the try to carry something really heavy, you will literally fart involuntarily every time you take a step. Much to the chagrin of your fellow shoppers.

No wonder you didn't have any problems. The cloud of fart gas protected you from all invaders.

good news is, very little blood now, just some older stuff I think is still comming up now and then, it doesn't have that fresh look to it.

bad news, after all that major coughing, I can barely cough without being wracked with pain, must have pulled muscles etc. Looks like tomorrow will have to pull light duties

All the Christmas decorations indoor are done. We do have lights I could hang outside if I choose to do so. The living room, our biggest room in the house at 22 x 25 is filled with all the Christmas stuff. The tree is in the bar area between the kitchen and the living room. Yes, imagine that my house would have a bar top. My wife had collected nutcrackers as a child, which again speaks to the present, and we are now up to 14 guarding the house. This will be oldest's 4th time in the Nutcracker production, so it seems they at here to stay. It is always fun putting all this stuff out - problem is putting it all away.

Morning gents. Time to pack up my over stuffed belly and head for home. Unfortunately, I think that the cupboards are bare there but I've eaten enough in the past three days that I shouldn't need to eat again for a few more...

I see that many of you have already put up the decorations. I will be starting that process when we get home. It will be nice to have it all up and decorated but it's gonna be a busy weekend to get it there.

Going out this morning to buy a generator, out of the last 3 years we had a major snowstorm on Dec 26, with all the power outages from Sandy, I'm sure a lot of wires are still held together with twisties and duct tape I'mn not taking any chances it is getting really cold at night now, better safe then sorry
