Yes, Paul and I are assembling the militia and preparing to attack Canada! Of course I'm not sure why?

Sounds fun. We do Upwards so no stats, but the games get really competitive. They call fouls and stuff in 3rd/4th grade here.

No referees for us and the games are not all that competitive. We are really pushing the fun part of the game. There are a few teams that are really competitive, but it is not the focus.

We will have some referee games later in the season. At this age, there is still a lot of double dribbling, traveling and such so we really use it to develop skills.

I have both my DS and DD's teams. DS is 7th grade travel. It gets very competitive. I am extremely competitive and have to really put in effort to keep myself from pushing the girls too hard. The boys are old enough to be pushed. Most want to play HS hoops so they need to work hard for the next two years.
