DW watched that the other night....watch/record it Halloween night, apparently an old friend of DW's appears....DW also notes she's been on a spending spree lately too...:scratchin

I won't miss it... It's a great show. :thumbsup2

And just had the Mini Cheesy Bees Nest... they were not bad.

'Evening all...

First off, thanks for all the “Thanks”s guys. I’d have gotten that stats together sooner, but October is a might busy in my house. And then there’s that Beverly work thing…

On the up side, it’s the weekend and we’re traveling again. That’s the fun part of my busy October. Its marching band season and the competitions are in full swing. We were in Alabama last week competing in a six state regional. Long day that included a third place finish against some very tough (and very large) schools. Tomorrow is the Upper SC Regional. We’ve also been bumped up to a new class this year against some of the bigger names in the state. The kids need to be in the top six tomorrow to secure a spot in the state finals.

Hope y’all have a great weekend… I’m looking forward to mine.

You do an amazing job on those stats, you should be working for MLB...thanks for keeping them up.

Their attendance wasn't horrible but it wasn't the greatest either...

The worst was that last year when they promised they would stay in Hartford with good attendance.:mad:

Hmm....so that isn;t good enough, but the 7000 or so they draw to Coyotes games is worth fighting for? Sorry...but I cannot get it through my thick skull how Bettman keeps his job.

Okay, slow night at work and I figured I would start catching up on this thread. Starting at page 1, I noticed Randall put this one together and has removed Don's info as contact... Did something happen to Don? Was there a mutiny I was unaware of? An intervention? A bet won/lost? What happened??????

It was mutiny! pirate:pirate:

It's all good... I just needed a break. Randall is now the man. Pardon me while I oh...oh..oh, oh, oh.......

It was all a sham. I was at the last Whalers game... granted I was in the last row in the arena, but I was there.::yes::

I hope they go bankrupt. :rolleyes1

The hurricanes averaged 16,300 last year. I guess that blows the Hartford numbers out of the water. :crazy2:

:confused3

Are the hurricanes? :confused3

Hmmm....I don't know...I know they had won the cup but after that.....a quick look at stats show respectable numbers though. But I wonder about Phoenix, Nashville etc. Bettman doesn't want to admit any of "his" teams failed

But what could they draw now? Winnipeg came back from the dead....Quebec City could too, why not Hartford? Maybe go back to the WHA days, and use the "New England" moniker

There has been another push this year to get an NHL team back here but I don't know what the attendance would be. We do have the CT whale AHL team of the Rangers. They don't draw that good. Besides the first 4 years they draw 4.2K-5.5K for the last 10 years

Nashville averaged 16,691 last season had around 25+ sellouts and the rest were in the 16k range so I wouldn't put my home town team in the failed category with Phoenix :)

I am the best there is, best there was, and best there ever will be. And, I believe the one and only on this thread.

And Don retire and gave his powers over to Randall.

Really :confused3

Watched Transformers: Dark Side of the Moon, by birthday present from DW. It was terrific the second time around, and so was Rosie.

Excellent choice :thumbsup2

Morning Gents,

pouring rain here since last night, if the pool was still up it would be full again. To top it off the dog peed on the floor. Stupid dog.
