This brings up an interesting point - what are ballots like everyone else's neck of the woods? Here, we are give a large sheet of heavy paper (probably 11"x20" or so) listing all of the races, referendums, ballot initiatives, etc. Next to each candidate is an arrow with a gap in the middle. You take the black marker that is in the voting booth, fill in the gap in the arrow for the person you want to vote for, then take the ballot to machine next to the door, feed it into the slot, and the reader scans the ballot.
Does anyone use touch screens? Punch cards?
