Ohhhh and fellow dads of little girls, is it common for them to fart and laugh about it all the time ,DD 4 does it all the time (I know we all do) but she giggles then says sorry

DD9 does it all the time. . It usually becomes a competition between her and older DS12. That's when the mom and dad have to go out for a while.. Good luck, it only gets better.

At this point, trying to lose enough weight to be able to train for the ToT seems impossible. I'm hoping I get good news at orthopedist tomorrow and then go from there.

Good luck with the ortho! Called yesterday to make an appointment about my knee and was told no need, go to town. Starting slow jogging after work. . Hoping for good news for you as well!

Got back home a little bit ago. 1300+ miles each way. House is OK, just some small branches on the ground. Opened up some of the shutters, will do the rest later.

Parrot made it throughthe procedure and resting at home. Vet says we'll know within a few days good/bad, but looking good. Thanks.

My daughter just ran into the family room buck naked yelling, "Nudie kid in the house."

Just 8 loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong days before preschool.

Enjoy these times! We are trying to get our DD9 to be a little more modest. Still has no idea what is ahead. Always aware when non family are around, but otherwise we have to remind her all the time.

I love this time of year. Makes me want to hop on a plane!

We always come at the end of summer or Jan so we have never been to a party but Halloween seems like it would a lot of fun!!

You guys were chatty these last couple of days. Browsed through and hear most of the posts are centered around farting and nemesis talk.

For the record:

DD no longer gets a thrill out of farting in public or in the house. She still will let out a mean burp once in a while.

Don't have a nemesis and not really interested in getting one. That way I can equally be a smart a$$ to all of you. Closest I guess is being Barry's second in the Barry/Tim fight.

That often? Funny, the law changed last year to require a dental exam (for the first time) when entering public school.

Back from Tree-Go. I am pretty proud of DS, he outdid me by completing 3 courses to my 1. I was ok with anything that moved up or down or side to side but the stuff that moved up, down and side to side was a bit much. I was a bit disappointed though that I didn't do the second course. I started with one of the above but after that it was all ziplines and swinging bridges..

Sounds fun.

Good news for us both. Doc said I sprained two ligaments in ankle, but not major damage. It may take up to 12 weeks to recover, but just said to keep the same routine.

Ohhhh Norm, last night DD saw your avatar pic and said "daddy you need that jack skellington shirt" I told her we were hopefully going to meet you and your family, she got excited when I said that you had 2 girls

And, I'll wear the shirt again(maybe). We decided on the soccer team for one party, just not sure which.

Very exciting, but also is a sign that summer vacation is over.

There's 104 days of summer vacation
And school comes along just to end it

It disappeared when you overrode the parameter by adding your DDC number.

We only have maybe 74 days. But, we get 5 more days at Fall Break, which makes up for the difference. Yup. The administrators can't even add.
