Apparently the beds in the hotel are much more comfortable then my bed at home, I slept until just a few minutes ago. That's the first almost 8 hours of sleep I've had in months!

Mornin' Guys!

Just was told that I have fresh pork and beef from our local fair coming my way this afternoon.

My boss always purchases a cow and a pig usually at our fair and they just had it butchered and are bringing it in to share the wealth today.



They must like me or something.

Now back to the battles.

Clearly, you all do not know good BBQ. David might drive thru one day and Philip, if you make it up to Owensboro, we will go eat at the Moonlite buffet. All you can eat country vegetables, Mac n cheese, fried apples, and then the BBQ. Depending on the day, there aree beef ribs, chopped and/or sliced pork, mutton, or beef; BBQ Chicken, and/or catfish fillets and/or fiddlers. Then, there is the dessert bar - two cobblers, banana pudding, fudge pecan pie, peanut buttr pie, and ice cream. Yeah, the salad bar and burgoo is included with the price.

Now, now…
before you go bustin’ out a sentence starting with “Clearly”, do note:

I didn’t say that the Flame Tree was the “best barbeque”.
I said it’s one of the best QS services at WDW.
BIG difference.

We can argue about the BBQ all day and never reach an agreement.
That ain’t happening, but…

I do know where the best Mac-n-cheese comes from.
My DW’s kitchen.
Period, end of story.

Ohhhh and fellow dads of little girls, is it common for them to fart and laugh about it all the time ,DD 4 does it all the time (I know we all do) but she giggles then says sorry

Did you consider that the kind of potential future dates that might find this behavior acceptable or even endearing…
may very well make for far worse son-in-law material then those that it might have chased away?

You can always find another nemesis. It says so on page 1.

Sounds good. I wouldn't ask you to make a detour off route or try to plan your vacation time around that type of detour especially if it is only for a restaurant. If you went 65, it would be a 3 hour detour minimum, not counting visit time.

That ain’t happening, but….

I'll give you that some like a rub BBQ, some like sauce, etc. But, when we have such a great BBQ place 10 miles away, it is difficult to recommend one 1000 miles away. I guess it is like the New Englander's on the Dis Restaurant forums knocking the lobster since it is so prevalent there. As for the farting dilemma, let's just hope I'm right with that one or they'll figure out they shouldn't behave like me.
